- From 1st of January 2025, Tulum Archeological Site is incorporated to the Jaguar Park, therefore, one more expense is added to the cost of the tour besides the National Park entrance fee and the Inah concept. If you picked the Included options, there is no extra charge to be paid in the site.

Brilliant tour!!! Joel was our guide and was superb. Engaging, knowledgeable and super passionate about his Mayan culture. Really brought to tour to life through a brilliant blend of sharing all the interesting facts about the site and sharing personal stories from his Mayan culture.
Joel is a fantastic guide, very passionate about Mayan history and culture. Worth joining this tour to learn about the Tulum ruins.
If you want a tour of tulum Joel is your guy! He was very personable and informative about his mayan heritage and the mayan culture of tulum.
Joel shared a wealth of information with us about the ruins but what was most important was the familial link and his heritage as a Mayan. The personal connection with him made for an amazing tour. Hearing how the Mayan culture shaped the region and that he and his family descended from a long line of Mayans, made the tour so much richer and more meaningful. Thanks Joel and we will definitely send friends your way!
Joel was fantastic. He knew his history very well. It was truly fantastic to hear the history behind the ruins. Definitely recommend this tour of the ruins.
This was a great opportunity to learn a bit about the Mayan culture. The views were great! This was a great experience. Joel is so informed, not only about the ruins, but about Mayan culture. He gave us a sense of what life was like when the temple wan inhabited. It was such a rich experience. Joel is also half Mayan so he was able to speak the language. I highly recommend it.
Joel was an excellent guide. He had in-depth knowledge about the history of the fortified ceremonial city of Tulum. As well, he was an excellent resource for questions about Maya culture, history, language, and society.

Joel (the Mayan Bruno Mars!) was absolutely wonderful! So knowledgable & truly passionate about Tulum and his Mayan heritage. He was funny, incredibly accommodating, and hospitable! After the first couple minutes of meeting him, we knew we made the right decision!

Tulum - Mayan City of Walls.
Our family of 6 had the best tour led by Joel. It was an amazing learning experience about this city in the past and walking through it with such a great guide. He gave us the history. He was also so thoughtful with details. Giving us a video of where to meet . Stopping in the shade.
Our family had a wonderful experience touring the Tulum Ruins thanks to our fantastic guide, Victor. He was incredibly knowledgeable and shared rich historical and cultural insights in a way that was both engaging and easy to understand. He was also kind, patient, and made sure to answer all of our questions.
Since it was a particularly hot day, we appreciated how he kept the tour moving at a steady pace without making us feel rushed. He also gave us options throughout the tour, allowing us to tailor the experience to our interests and comfort.
We really appreciated that he told us about other areas within the park that were included in our admission. Based on his recommendation, we took the short tram ride to the museum, which was air conditioned and a great way to cool down while continuing to learn. We decided to skip the sky path in Jaguar Park due to the heat, but it was great to know it was available.
Overall, the communication, notes, and videos from Joel in advance were invaluable, and our guide helped make this visit memorable, informative, and comfortable for our whole family. Highly recommend the private tour. It is worth it!
This tour is amazing. I would highly recommend to anyone. Our tour guide., Joel, was so knowledgeable and we learned so much. It wasn’t overrun with tourists or people trying to sell you things. A very enjoyably experience that none of us will forget.

Joel provides a much needed Maya perspective on Tulum and clash of cultures and consequences thereof to this day. From the stories of his grandfather to his own from swimming in the cenotes on property, he casts a compelling story that makes one appreciate what you are seeing.
My husband and I were the only ones that signed up for the tour the day we went, so we were really grateful to know that it wasn't cancelled despite low attendance. Our tour guide Joel was so knowledgeable about the Mayan temples and his sense of humor made our tour so enjoyable. After the tour ended, we gained so much appreciation of the Mayan culture.

Joel was amazing! He was willing to wait for us when we were late due to the kiddos we were bringing. He was super knowledgeable and had some great insights on the trees and animals and the city of Tulum. We all learned so much! 100% would recommend this tour! We took 2 young kids and a stroller and it was a little tricky in spots due to rocks but was doable.
A must do excursion in Tulum - absolutely beautiful. We booked a private guided tour with tickets - there’s a steep premium for this but it made things a lot easier and enjoyable. It gets very hot so bring an umbrella for shade and bug spray. Also try to do it early to avoid the worst of the heat and the crowds. Plastic and glass bottles are not allowed (they check your bags) but the canned water that is common here is fine.
We enjoyed seeing the Mayan ruins, made even more interesting by our outstanding guide, Joel, who provided great factoids and insight into the Mayan culture, historical Tulum, and the area. He was very friendly.
