Great way to spend a half day in Tulum!

We only had time for a half day excursion. This trip was perfect. We got into Tulum early before it was too crowded. Carlos shared so much information. We then headed to the cenote for the second part. We were underground for a long time-40 minutes or so. NOTE- it sounds scary…dark, tight spaces, bats, but it really wasn’t. I’m a bit claustrophobic and do NOT like bats. I was not uncomfortable even once. Once again Carlos had so much information to share. We ended with a delicious lunch. It was a great half day trip!

This was our third tour with Mexico Kan Tours. It was a private tour with just the three of us. Our guide Syed was amazing, very knowledgeable and personable. The scheduled times of the tours were great because we got to beat the crowds of tourists. The cenote location was great as well since it was not crowded. It was also a plus that the cenote is owned and operated by a Mayan family. He took lots of pictures for us and knew the best spots. We highly recommend this tour!
