Me and my friends had the BEST time!! Daniel was an amazing guide he’s so fun and made sure we were taken care of and good the whole time, he told us so much history about Tulum and the cenotes it was great, the tequila tasting was so fun everyone’s energy is fantastic! They made sure we were all having a good time, make sure to try the scorpion shot because as weird as it sounds it was so good and interesting lol the restaurant they took us to at the end was delicious and so authentic it was a great experience. The cenotes were BEAUTIFUL and so private, it was just us there so it was even better and we wouldn’t have gotten that without this excursion. We saw turtles and stingrays while snorkeling too the water was gorgeous, make sure to bring water shoes for the cenotes because the floor is very rocky and has some sharp parts- you swim through the caves and literally walk through the jungle so it’s worth it. Definitely recommend this excursion Daniel and the driver are absolutely amazing we had a blast!!

Perfect Taste of Local Life!

Amy_D, Feb 2026
Our tour guide, Daniel, was very informative of Tulum and its history. As a local, he took us to places that he enjoys frequenting. Cenotes were amazing and private. Food and tequila-tasting was delicious. We were able to see sea turtles, sting ray and a wide variety of fish while snorkeling. We highly recommend this tour! Note: Bring mosquito repellent!

The private tour and access to 3 Cenotes on Mayan land is worth it. Those cave stretches for hundreds of feet’s underground with water to the chest and stalagtites hanging from the ceiling.

Nelson is the best!

Nicole_S, Nov 2025
Nelson was the best tour guide! The Cenotes were so private, there was no one else there. The ruins were really interesting and he had a lot of knowledge about the history and the mathematics. The food was delicious and we definitely came home tipsy!

The best time! We love Roger!!!

Karis_M, Sep 2025
We booked this trip for my a bachelorette party and Roger made our entire experience incredible! He went out of his way to make sure we had the best time. The ruins, tequila, lunch and cenotes were phenomenal. I’ve truly never had a tour guide as fun and interactive as Roger was.

Best experience of Tulum & Cenotes!

Kat_Y, Jun 2025
We were picked up by Danny, who greeted us warmly with drinks and water, setting the tone for an incredible day. Our first stop was the Tulum ruins, where we had a private guide who made the history come alive. Afterward, we enjoyed a fantastic tequila tasting and shopping experience. Lunch was at a wonderful local spot, where we were served four different kinds of corn tacos and the freshest guacamole. Danny then took us to the cenotes, where he was not only an amazing guide but also hilarious and reassuring as we swam through the caves. Having visited Mexico several times, I can honestly say this was my favorite experience to date. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a mix of history, culture, adventure, and great company.

Great day

Laura_A, Mar 2025
I has a great day, I got a message the night before saying what time I would be picked up and they were dead on time. we were given plenty of drinks to get the party started from the beginning until the end of the trip. I was glad to be taken around the ruins with a guide because they were knowledgeable but it was also much easier due to the confusing system they have there. We tasted different tequilas which was fun but expensive to buy any. The cenotes were amazing and I feel like we wouldn't have been able to find such private cenotes without the guides. We finished with a lunch in tulum which was OK. The organisation has an ethical foundation where they prioritise the sustainability of the local culture and people. Overall I had a really good time, it was well organised and interesting and they did a good job of keeping us all happy

Top excursion I’ve booked

Aspen_D, Feb 2025
What an incredible day we had! From the very beginning I felt safe and taken care of. The ruins were very busy but our guide still was able to get us great photo opportunities and a lot of knowledge about the Mayans. They made sure we were all happy and doing good the whole time. We definitely drank a lot and were offered snacks throughout the day. The cenotes we went to we were offered a private experience and it was definitely worth it. I was never in a moment were I felt like I needed something. Daniel did such a good job at making our entire group happy. I was thankful it was a small group because it made the experience feel so intimate and not like I was a number in a crowd. The food we got for lunch was incredible and we were offered more. We all left very full and happy. I would definitely recommend booking this tour!

Thank you so much for your visit and it makes us happy to heard you had a good time touring with all of us and Dany , Till next time .! Thanks

Over priced and underwhelming.

Carly_H, Feb 2025
Do not book this as a boat tour if you want to see the ruins. You will See the ruins from a distance for 20-30 Seconds, not much information given other than the connection to the light in the holes being reflective of the summer solstice. The “snacks” are a mini crisp packet. The lunch was really basic and as a pescatarian - non meat eater- my food came after everyone else’s and was scrambled egg and spinage in tacos and basic veg with no flavour.my friend said all the meat taco options tasted the same as each other. The tequila experience consists of free tasters inside a shopping mall…nothing intimate or cultural about the experience- and you will be given a sales pitch…the tequila is good but it is very expensive, especially for apparently locally produced—so be careful not to agree anything without checking the prices. We were being offered 2 coffee tequilas bottles, 1 pistachio bottles aand a mini passion fruit tequila for over £400!!!!!! This was slightly over 3 litres and yes I understand they sell these as local and special…however I wouldn’t expect local produce to have a mark up that high and without warning. The cenotes are great- but you can find a tour for 3 cenotes cheaper elsewhere and then you could see the ruins separately for a more reasonable price. We also had confusing messages about pick up times and despite me chasing by calling to inform them they sent times differing by an hour…they message at the time they arrived…which wasn’t our hotel and I had been messaging for 24 hours so very bizarre. We also drove past our hotel 4 times as they planned the pick up and transportation really badly and spent more time in the van than necessary. This was our 4 excursion on this holiday and the only one we felt let down by and felt wasn’t worth the expensive price tag.

Response from Host, Feb 2025

Thank you for your review Karly, in this case as mention on our tour description our boat tour is focus not so much on the ruins because the national institute of anthropology and history don’t allow no one to go in if is not from the front door and by foot, we can not stop on the beach and walk inside the ruins to show you more of it so yes we only see what is posible from the water side meaning the main buildings if the water is to choppy and is not safe for the boat to be next to the rocks where an incident can happen we must move away to keep everyone safe and go to the snorkel area ! Snacks are that snacks .! Sorry you did not eat before tour and where hungry dotting tour but we also mention that lunch is at the end of tour and is all you can eat Mayan tacos and guacamole, sorry they where good you don’t like but we do our best and most of our clientes agree that they are delicious. We send out pick up times the day before tour because this is a share tour and not all hotels are locate in the same area and do to traffic sometime we can be a bit late or before schedule times but we always inform our clients about this. Also if your hotel is locate by the entrance of the National park we will have to drive by it to get to our next point .! Yes you can find cenotes for a chipper price that is true but those cenotes are not private there are 1000s of people and the water may be contaminated because they are closer to town and contaminated waters also as you probably know transportation in tulum is not cheap and getting there and back will cost you lots of money. Our cenotes are fully private and beautiful not up to me but our clientes .! In our tequila tasting you are not obligated to buy anything we do it as an something more to share with our clients and they all have the option to buy it if they like it or want to none is obligate to buy. We try our best to have happy clients and I understand that I can always make everyone happy.! Thank you for you visit we will keep on trying to make everyone happy by providing the best of services as we always do .!

HIGHLY Recommend!!!

Hannah_M, Jan 2025
We had a fantastic time on this excursion and I would highly recommend booking this - especially if this is your first visit to Tulum!!! The tour group was small (I think they limit the group size to 8-10 people) so it was the ideal size and wasn’t overwhelming at all! They picked us up directly from our hotel, (and dropped us off at the end of the day!) so we didn’t have to worry about transportation. We toured the Mayan ruins (which were incredible!) and our guide shared some key historical information about each of the places we visited. Although the ruins can get crowded since it’s a popular tourist destination it’s still well worth the visit! The tequila tasting was great as well because we tried so many different varieties of tequila and it was super fun and informative. We swam in 3 different cenotes and Daniel was an excellent guide! Also quite a few of the parks and cenotes require entrance fees and day passes, but the cost of the tour covered all that so it was nice not to have to worry about any of that! The food was delicious, the drinks were plentiful-definitely book this!

Very unique adventure, traveling to places you wouldn’t be able to get to on your own. The guides were fantastic as well. Swimming in the Cenotes was so dang cool. Really cool stop at some shops as well. Prepare to drink a lot of tequila on this adventure as well

Just the best time. Victor our guide through the ruins was fantastic, personable and very knowledgable. Daniel, our driver and Cenote guide was so lovely! I honestly will be dreaming about the Cenote swim for years. Highly, Highly recommend!

Thank you so much .! So happy you had a good time touring with us and remember this was not a dream and you can always comeback and do it all over again .! Thanks you .!

Awesome Trip

Robert_A, Jan 2025
Know how to swim and be comfortable swimming in caves. Bring water shoes and maybe a set of dry cloths. Bring extra money to buy souvenirs and maybe for gratuities. If you're coming from Cancun it is an hour and forty minutes to get there. The drivers come from Tulum and live there...so the transportation is not cheap but worth it. The driver and guide we had were great! The lunch was delicious and plenty.

Response from Host, Jan 2025

Thank you. So much for your review we are so happy you had a good time touring with us .! So happy you decide to do the long drive with us and still enjoy it .. Thank you so much and see you next time for more adventurous.! Thanks .!

Private cenotes were SPECTACULAR

Jennifer_M, Jan 2025
Danny our tour guide was so wonderful to pick us up far away! (Drive was a little scary, but we lived!) The cenote was SPECTACULAR—an experience I’ll always remember!! We thought the Tulum portion of the tour was less strong, but overall, the tour was still worth it because of the cenote portion. Danny took us to a private cenote and we were the only ones there. He took us through the caves and the route was so well planned that even my claustrophobic friend was able to enjoy the cave portion.

Response from Host, Jan 2025

So happy you all decide it to fully explore the caves cenotes and got to have an amazing time .! Thank you all for touring with us .! See you next time

Ann_H, Jan 2025
We had a great experience with Julio as our guide. He was very personable and factual about Tulum and Mayan culture. Tulum ruins tour by Daniel as guide was very interesting and he knew how to navigate away from the crowds while sharing his vast knowledge. Julio’s tour of the three cenotes was the highlight and we would highly recommend this excursion ending with Mayan tacos as a perfect finale. Highly recommend Julio and his company for any excursion he does it right!!!

Fun Cenotes/Tequila/Ruins

Katherine_V, Nov 2024
Danny was awesome, the centoes and ruins were absolutely beautiful. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Great for friends

Usha_T, Oct 2024
This was such a fun experience. We had a small group of 6 people so the tour was very flexible. The snorkeling was fun but a tad challenging without mouthpieces. We say a turtle up close and beautiful fish under that water. Swimming through the cenotes was remarkable. And I loved lunch. Soooo good!

Great tour

Deborah_H, Oct 2024
Daniel was a great guide for our group of 8 visiting Cancun. We enjoyed the tour of the ruins and the history and views. The cenotes swimming and the amazing lunch were our favorite. Daniel was a great guide!

A Perfect Day in Tulum

Sandra_B, Oct 2024
A wonderful tour. The small group of only 9 friends was very nice. Daniel the guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We had a beautiful day. The ruins and cenote were magical. The authentic taco lunch 😋 We would do this again in a heartbeat. Well worth the fee.

Tulum adventure

Leigh_B, Oct 2024
My 2 grown sons and I went on the tour this past week and loved every bit of it. Our guide, Daniel is funny and informative, and speaks fluent English and Spanish. One of our favorite parts was snorkeling off the boat- We spotted a large school of blue tang, an enormous sponge, and a green sea turtle. Another favorite was exploring the pristine cenotes. Endless tacos were very tasty. Overall, our adventure was fun and exciting. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful trip

Emmy_B, Oct 2024
Had a wonderful time with a private tour of the Tulum ruins and then met up with another group to visit the cenotes and have delicious tacos. It was a wonderful time and we felt well taken care of, safe and happy.

Muy Bueno!

Adventurous Authentic Mayan Cenote Excursion

Keaton_S, Oct 2024
We loved the small group and being able to experience the locals cenotes! Be prepared to swim in dark, confined spaces. Snorkeling was amazing, water was choppy. Make sure to eat as lunch will likely be at the end of the day. Incredible experience!

One of the best tours we’ve experienced! Daniel was a great guide with his knowledge of Tulum and attentiveness to all of us. The Tulum Ruins by boat was amazing with the swimming and snorkeling. The Cenotes locations were beautiful. The authentic taco lunch at a local restaurant was really good! Our absolute favorite part was the company only provides tours in “small groups”!! Which definitely makes the experience so much better! We would definitely book with Authentic Tours again!!

This was one of the most unforgettable experiences. I booked this because I wanted to learn more about the history of Tulum and about the Mayans. Our guide Daniel and our tour guide for the Ruins were so knowledgeable and were able to share so many stories/ facts with us. Going through the caves was the highlight of the day- I was a little nervous and scared at first but Daniel was very experienced in the caves which made us all feel more comfortable and safe swimming through them.

Great Excursion

Michael_S, Sep 2024
What an amazing experience! Daniel made sure we had a fun-filled day - and we appreciate him so much for it! We started on a boat to see the ruins, snorkeled the reef and saw a sting ray and a sea turtle! We went to 3 cenotes - that were different than the others we saw on our other excursions. Daniel is a true local - he knew many people at various locations throughout the day and took us to a family-owned restaurant for lunch that was delicious. He was our favorite “guide” our whole trip - knowledgeable and fun!
