Fantastic way to see villages off the usual route. Dan the guide was absolutely brilliant. Very knowledgeable and full of interesting information. Communication is given throughout the trip via walkie talkies if you get stuck behind another vehicle on the road. The cars were really good fun to drive, can easily fit two adults, remember to take your driving licence with you. The location is up what seems to be an off road track but the info on where to go is very clear. I highly recommend this tour as part of your holiday, it won’t disappoint.

Fantastic short tour of Tenerife. The Twizy’s were great fun to drive and to get around. Dan was a brilliant guide. Very knowledgable and enthusiastic and happy to answer lots of questions. Highly recommended for those who want a more fun way to explore the less well known parts of Tenerife.

I picked this excursion because my 13 yr old son wanted to ride in a twizy. But, it ended up being our favorite one in Tenerife. The cars were super easy & fun to drive plus we covered a lot of ground in the time we were together. Our guide Dan was extremely knowledgable on every aspect of the tour & we learned a lot about the history of the island & its native people which was fascinating. I highly recommend this tour!!

This is a must while in Tenerife and such an unique experience.
Do not hesitate to book this trip it’s such a fantastic and exciting way to explore part of the Island. It was worth every penny.

It might not look like much, but the tour guide turns it into something special. Going through the ups and downs of the island, he will take you into some cool places like the roadside cafe with a drink baronqueto, spelling might be off , which was amazingly good considering I’m not a coffee drinker, historic old church and pottery house. When following the gps, follow the sign on the wall of the main road to get to the hotel, 2 turns after gps says so. He now’s his stuff, thank you

Dan was AWESOME. This was easily our favorite activity of the trip. We got lucky and ended up with a private tour- he was by far the most knowledgeable guide we’ve had, and honestly the first one we could fully understand. He’s truly an expert and taught us more about the island than everything else we did combined.
The Twizzys were easy to drive, and the tour was incredibly comprehensive. It covered banana plantations, local coffee customs, the town of Santiago del Teide, and a Canarian pottery studio.
We would absolutely recommend this to anyone and everyone.

A fantastic tour that helps you discover the beauty of Tenerife, including the traditions of the people, the history of the islands, and the mini-climates/different vegetation. The tour guide is professional, friendly, and truly knowledgable about all aspects of the islands. It was very fun to drive the Twizzy along winding roads and to see incredible views that left a lasting impression. A pleasure to discover this side of Tenerife with a warm host. This was the best experience . Our family of 7 did this. Our guide Danny was so much fun and he gave us just enough information without over loading. The banana plantation was so amazing. Who knew there was so much to harvesting bananas. Now … the twizzy cars … absolutely the most fun. Our kids are older and it was a great adventure. We got to see the the old lava and visited a house where they make their own pottery. We had a yummy coffee stop with a breath taking view. This is a must. So much fun !

Daniel was very friendly, inviting, and very good at communicating, our tour initially had to be rearranged due to adverse weather conditions, but was very accommodating, and made sure it was rearranged to the day with the best weather. The tour itself was truly breathtaking, and very informative, with plenty of 'hidden gem' view points throughout the tour. The twizy's were fun to drive, had a little bit of range anxiety on the way to the coffee spot, but there was chargers, and it charged itself on the way down hills (by removing foot from accelerator), so had plenty of range throughout, Operating the car was very simple, with a clear walk through of the controls before we set off. The sheep at the meeting point to start/end the tour were very funny too! Would highly recommend, and worth every penny!!

Highly recommend this excursion if you are in Tenerife - definitely a unique but wonderful excursion! The guide Dani is also very knowledgeable and can answer any questions given and will give you a lot facts as you drive round the island! We loved the twizy - easy drive and could easily fit two adults into the car. Also recommend that you try the coffee at the coffee stop - for someone who doesn’t like coffee, we thought it was delicious.

This experience is a "must go" for everyone who wants to learn more about Tenerife (island itself, history). The guide Dani is super kind and he is a walking encyclopedia/Wikipedia, full of knowledge and fun facts! Also driving Twizy car is a fun experience by itself with lots of options to enjoy the views during the drive.

This was a great way to tour the island! It’s a little two seater electric car (the back seat is a little tight, but not horribly uncomfortable). We stopped at a banana plantation, a small town where we got some delicious coffee drink, and a place where they make pottery the original way they did back in the day (without a wheel). Our guide Dani communicated with us via CB radio throughout our trip and was very knowledgeable on all things Tenerife. I love that he talked a lot about the history of Tenerife prior to the Spanish arriving. I would recommend this tour for everyone big and small. The only thing I would recommend is including transportation to and from hotels, as the meeting place is not easy to access with public transportation (bus). We had to get a taxi, but other than that, a wonderful tour indeed!

This was such a unique experience. You get to drive a little electric car through part of the island and learn about the history and culture of the island. We learned about the Canarian banana, origin of the barraquito, other plants and history of the Canarian people. At each stop our guide Dani gave us a history lesson of the island and made the drive so much fun.

Dani’s knowledge and passion for this tour is clear throughout the visit.Driving through lava was a first time experience.
Learning about the islands history and native culture was most fascinating.
Sampling a barraquito coffee was a real treat.
The local museum with displays of local pottery and early life amenities is an eye opener.
Driving the Twizzy’s up and down the mountain back roads was a great way to enhance the adventure.. Highly recommended!

We were lucky enough to be the only two people on our tour. Our guide was wonderful! We learned so much about Tenerife and got to see some of the less touristy parts of the island. It made us fall in love with island even more and we will definitely recommend it to others.

Driving the Twizy was fun, Daniel was so knowledgeable gave us so much information on all the towns and history of Tenereife. He showed us the many Plantos (banana) fields, almond trees, prickly pear, mango trees. We drove up the mountain and saw the volcanic rock on the side of road. We had a few hospitality stops, great coffee, great sites. We highly recommend this tour and thank you Daniel we loved your tour.
