We had an excellent day with Drew the tour guide and Dave’s Tours visiting the incredible Hunter Valley wine region. Drew was an excellent host, giving us a rich and detailed history of not only the region but of Australia. He looked after us the whole day and ensured our experience was as enjoyable as possible. The 4 vineyards we visited were each unique and different but equally spectacular and all the wines tasted were enjoyable and of high quality. We highly recommend this tour for a small, tailored, special trip to Hunter Valley.

We had an excellent day with Drew the tour guide and Dave’s Tours visiting the incredible Hunter Valley wine region. Drew was an excellent host, giving us a rich and detailed history of not only the region but of Australia. He looked after us the whole day and ensured our experience was as enjoyable as possible. The 4 vineyards we visited were each unique and different but equally spectacular and all the wines tasted were enjoyable and of high quality. We highly recommend this tour for a small, tailored, special trip to Hunter Valley.

Great wine and goof vibes provided by our host Drew. The lunch was amazing, wine was great and gin superb. The host was very knowledgeable and friendly. Made us feel extremely comfortable. Highly recommend this tour.

Chris our driver was super fantastic.
The day was an amazing experience of taste and experiencing wines.
We were disappointed we coulded purchase the beautiful chocolates at the last vineyard.
The lovely owners stated they sold more chocolate than wine but this is still a part of their business and I dare say costing them profit.
All around a great day.

Enjoyed the different ways to experience wine tasting. Chocolate and cheese were very high quality. Bought cheese to enjoy in our hotel room. Collin was an excellent driver/guide. He was extremely upbeat, interesting, informative and helpful.

Enjoyable small group tour, featuring several wineries in the Hunter Valley along with a stop for pizza lunch. It was a great prelude to our cruise holiday which began the following day.
Guide was friendly and informative, felt that we had good value for money and certainly a full day out. Logistics, booking, pick up all ram smoothly and comfortable transit in the mini van. My personal favourite when it came to the wineries was probably Mcaffreys, but each of the sites had their own vibe and character.

We enjoyed our wine tasting tour. Drew was very knowledgable and shared quite a bit of history about Sydney and the Hunter Valley area. He even pulled over for us to take pictures of wild kangaroos. The wines were very good. The wine tastings were different for us - we sat at tables as they served our tastings (we are used to stepping up to the counter, choosing a flight, and tasting as you walk around). This was vey organized as we learned about the wines and talked with the winemakers. We had a variety of pizza at Bimbadgen Winery that was tasty! The gin tasting was interesting, but not essential. Our favorite was the wine and chocolate pairing at The Wine Lab!

A bit of a drive out of Sydney, 1 - 1 3/4 hrs.
Visited four wineries, two of which were small boutique family owned.
Colin was our driver. Very knowledgeable of the Pokolbin region.

We had a fabulous time on our small group tour through the Hunter Valley wine region! Drew, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and he gave us lots of information throughout the day. The boutique wineries we visited we all amazing and we will recommend Dave’s to anyone visiting Sydney.

Good value for the money. Exactly as advertised Wines were good as was the wood fired pizza lunch. Drew did a great job as the host. The 2 1/2 hour drive flew by. Drew stopped halfway for a 15 minute break and explained everything in clear detail.

We really enjoyed our wine tasting trip with Dave Tours. Drew was a top bloke - very informative and friendly, which kept our journey both interesting and engaging. The air con bus was comfortable. The wines and food pairings were great and the locations were spectacular. I'd definitely book them again and recommend you take a trip with Drew/Dave. Also stuck to time well but never felt rushed :)

This tour was excellent . There were 12 of us and a fabulous guide/driver . We visited 4 vineyards, drank great wine , ate wood fired pizza lunch and made new friends.
I would highly recommend booking with these guys . Everything went like clockwork . Fabulously well organised,informative and so much fun .

Excellent tour and experience! Driver/guide Brandon was friendly, explained the plan for the day, and kept us on time. The hosts at each of the venues were engaging and knowledgeable. Scenery was spectacular. Highly recommend.

I am a solo traveler who had a wonderful time as a member of a diverse, in terms of ages and nationalities, group of 19 people. on the tour. Chris did a great job navigating through inclement weather and providing wonderful insights about Sydney and the Hunter Valley wine industry. All the stops were fantastic! And the more we imbibed, the greater the number of kangaroos we thought we saw, just as Chris predicted. This was the best tour I've been on in Sydney!

Great way to spend the day and see this beautiful wine country. Collin was a terrific host/guide - very personable and knowledgable. I especially liked being able to visit small, family run wineries instead of the large corporate-owned wineries of other wine country tours.

Great experience, but if not staying in the city it is a long day with an early start. The wineries visited were all good, but the stand out was Mount Pleasant. Lunch was a nice addition at Adina. All in all, great value for money.

Can't quite believe how much we managed to fit in - 4 different venues, wine tasting, then pizza / salad lunch, gin tasting, wine tasting with cheese and to wrap it up, wine tasting with chocolate. Brilliant. Our driver Jo took really good care of us - couldn't ask for more. Highly recommend.

The vineyards we went to were beautiful, plenty of wine, food was great at the lunch stop and drew was a great guide/driver. Would definitely recommend this hunter valley tour!

The drive to the valley covered some beautiful countryside and each winery was delightful. Our lunch was delicious and the wines were enjoyable. Chris, our guide, was knowledgeable, friendly, a good driver, and kept us on schedule all day.

We loved this tour, great vineyards with some behind the scenes viewings and great overviews from from the vineyards teams. A nice pizza lunch in a beautiful location topped of a really memorable day. Pinot (our guides nickname) was brilliant with loads of facts shared and equally as many laughs. We thought twice about booking due to the longish distance from Sydney but we're so glad we did. A stop on the way breaks it up and you can really enjoy the scenery change on the way. Brilliant day out.
