Enjoyable day trip

Enjoyable day visiting wineries. Vehicle was a bit dated but clean and comfortable. Our driver/guide James was good and got us there and back safely and made an effort to ensure that we saw some kangaroos in the wild. Wine tastings were very good and informative. Lunch at the pub was good and at a nice pub. Viator decription listed national park fees included in the detailed list of inclusions but there was no national park on the itinerary.

Hunter Valley Wine Tour and kangaroos!

Private tour to the winery. It’s about a 2 hour drive each way with beautiful scenery. We did wine tastings and a cheese tasting which were all wonderful! We stopped for lunch at a local restaurant which was delicious! We were able to see over 30 kangaroos with multiple mobs of kangaroos near the wineries. We stopped near the road one time and saw a kangaroo with her baby in her pouch… it was so amazing! Just a wonderful, relaxing day trip from Sydney. Would highly recommend!

Day Trip to Hunter Valley

Mike was very accommodating with our day trip to Hunter Valley from Sydney. He was able to pick us up straight from the hotel, and took off straight to Hunter Valley. While it's a long drive, Mike provided unique insights in to life in Sydney and Australia. Once we arrived, the wineries that he had picked were very good, as well as the lunch spot which he modified for dietary restrictions. It would be great to stay in Hunter Valley, but if you are in Sydney and are looking for a day trip for wine, this is a great value for the price.

Great Visit to Hunter Valley

We were picked up at the OPT cruise terminal after our cruise on Princess and had a great day visiting Hunter Valley wineries. After the tasting, we were dropped back off at our hotel in Sydney. James was a safe driver and was very knowledgeable about Sydney and the different regions as we drove up and back.
