What are people saying about Sydney

Don’t us Viator
The trip was brilliant once we got on the bus, just don’t use Viator.
We were not staying at an hotel in the centre of Sydney so opted to be picked up at the first stop of the tour, the fish market. We spent a couple of hours finding this pick up and were directed to a corner of an exit road from a freeway in the middle of nowhere! Thankfully , we had time to change this pickup to a more convenient one in the centre of Sydney. When we were picked up we were taken as planned to the fish market where the coach parked up in a lay-by at the fish market, why was this not the spot to be picked up if this was the most convenient place to be picked up?

Perfect “Chill but Interesting” Afternoon in Sydney
We were looking for something low-key to fill an afternoon—something more engaging than just sitting in a bar—and this tour ended up being the perfect choice. Exploring The Rocks through its historic pubs was a really unique way to experience a bit of Sydney’s layered history. The mix of storytelling, local context, and great stops along the way made it both entertaining and informative without ever feeling heavy. Our guide, Emily, was fantastic. Her enthusiasm—especially when it engaging everyone to enjoy our time together—was contagious and really added to the experience. She kept things fun, relaxed, and engaging the entire time. One unexpected highlight: one of the stops had a pizza featuring kangaroo and emu meat. While we didn't have time to order one during the tour, we were intrigued enough that we actually went back later that evening after a show at the Opera House to try it. If you’re looking for a casual, social, and slightly different way to explore Sydney, this tour is a great pick. Highly recommend.

Memorable trip to Hunter Valley
We had an excellent day with Drew the tour guide and Dave’s Tours visiting the incredible Hunter Valley wine region. Drew was an excellent host, giving us a rich and detailed history of not only the region but of Australia. He looked after us the whole day and ensured our experience was as enjoyable as possible. The 4 vineyards we visited were each unique and different but equally spectacular and all the wines tasted were enjoyable and of high quality. We highly recommend this tour for a small, tailored, special trip to Hunter Valley.

Amazing day!!
My wife and I spent the day with Steve, touring the amazing Australian countryside. We stopped at a zoo and were able to pet koala and feed kangaroos, emus and goats. We traveled through a National Park, which was spectacular. We saw an incredible waterfall and had some terrific wine. We enjoyed a tasty lunch with an amazing view. Steve was a fantastic guide! He shared so much knowledge of the area and we learned a lot. I highly recommend this tour!

Perfect food and Sydney Experience.
Infinity delivers delicous food and a special view of a fantastic city. You get to see amazing sites whilst enjoying a great selection of meals.
In addition to choosing the standard options, we added oysters and given we had visitied the fish markets the day before, were blown away by how delicious the oysters were. We also tried the sea urchin which was unique and enjoyable.
We selected two bottles of Tasmania wine with both being quality choices.
Overall, i felt this was great value for money when you consider the amazing view of this great city that you get to enjoy.

Rocks Walking Pub Tour Review.
Not only was this a pub tour, it was a bit of a history lesson along the way. Pino did a fabulous job and was very engaging. He and Jarvis, were able to relate the history of the pubs in addition to Australian history. Along the way we were showed The Big Dig, which many people in Sydney may not even be aware of.
We visited four pubs, and were able to sample local brews. Pino was familiar with all of the beers and was able to make recommendations based upon people's preferences.
I think even non beer drinkers would enjoy this tour... non alcoholic drinks were available.

For a good time come hungry.
Guide Karina was knowledgeable of Surrys Hill where we met and had our tour. She knew the history of the venues we visited. All eateries were very good. She asks everyone if there are any diet restrictions or allergies, and the venues accommodate those. Our first stop was oysters. They were delicious. We had a main meal at one venue. Large and delicious, it was too much. A preselected small plate would have been ideal, considering the drinks and desserts we tried later. Note that several restrooms are up or down stairs. This is our sixth tour with Viator. Recommend.

Great Wine Tour Day w/D
We were on the January 15th wine tour. I can't remember our driver, but I want to say it started with a D. I do remember he was Brazlian asnd he gave us a wonderful French Asain fusion resturant for dinner. Anyways, he explained how the day was going to go. He was wonderful. The 2+ hour drive both ways was very nice. He told us at every winery what to expect and how long we'd be there. He also was every ones personal photographer. He joked with us. There was a young group of girls who wanted to play thier music. He asked everyone if that was ok. Once we approved, the music was spot on. We all sang to together and made the time even more enjoyable. Thanks a lot. The wine tour was well worth it.

A Fun, Relaxed Way to Explore Chinese Food and History
We had a great time with Chinatown Food Tours and Stories. The walk was very well paced and the guide, Bruce shared really interesting insights about the history of Chinese communities in Australia and Sydney, which added a lot of depth to the experience.
The food was tasty and thoughtfully chosen, showcasing flavours from different regions of China. It’s worth noting that the tour focuses more on snack-style tastings rather than full meals — but for me, it was more than enough and felt just right.
A really enjoyable and informative experience that I’d happily recommend.

Very interesting and enjoyable day out
Our tour guide Jeff was great, lots of funny stories and interesting information.
The three vineyards we visited all had a different vibe. Excellent wine in each one.
There was no hard sell to buy the wine.
We learned a lot about the wine making process and some fun facts. We even seen some kangaroos.
Lunch was really tasty and a beautiful location.
I would definitely recommend this tour.

If James is your driver then this is a great option
This tour group received a 5* rating because of our driver and tour guide James. If not for him, it would have been a 1* review. The Viator description was grossly inaccurate and what was listed as the highlight vineyard on the tour (McGuigans) wasn’t on his schedule. McGuigans tastings moved to a new location and might not be a big deal today, but when I was last in Australia over 25 years ago — it stood out. I booked the tour based on that perceived stop — then shared the Viator description with James. He said he could fix it and made a separate side trip for my wife and me while the other 9 guests visited a chocolate company.
Food listed as included was a separate charge — and while our restaurant stop was fun, there was no pizza as an option as advertised, and lunch with a drink was 31AUD/pp.
The last wine stop did include an excellent charcuterie board that James brought us gratis, and on the way back — everyone had a chance to take photographs of a large group of kangaroos.
James made it memorable and for that we’re grateful.
