Highly recommend this tour! Barbara was a wonderful tour guide! Very knowledgeable about Siena, having grown up in the area. It’s a fabulous city not to be missed! And the surprise at the end made us all fall in love with Siena that much more! Spectacular view! Thank you, Barbara!!

Lots of background on architecture and history of St Catrin. It was just my wife and I with Iloria and she was lovely. Zero complaints about the actual tour. However…very poor instructions on meeting point! No landmarks to identify our guide vs the other dozen tours (how about a sign??). We had the same experience at Accademie in Florence and it was brutal-this is a Viator problem NOT the local guides

Perfect overview of Siena! Giulia was an engaging guide! It was a great pace and we loved learning about the contrate, Palio and Duomo. Giulia kept us engaged annd was very knowledgeable. She moved at our pace was very accommodating. I would recommend going in the duomo. It’s worth the $ and time!

She tailored the itinerary to our interests based on our questions, comments, and reactions, and she made our experience in Siena so much better than it would have been without her guidance. She even took us off the typical route to see her cantrada’s fountain & horse stall because of our interest in the snails! Ludevika was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Extremely knowledgeable regarding the history of Siena and her raiders. She was also conscious of our need too many steps and catered for that. Loved everything about this trip, especially the stories of the various contradas and their rivalry in their daily life and during the Palio.

Magical Siena

Siena was a highlight of our trip to Tuscany. Our guide was wonderful. She was knowledgeable and informative and helped us get to know Siena in a way that we would not have been able to do on our own. With her knowledge, we were able to avoid some of the steepest hills in town, which was important for some members of our group with knee issues. Highly recommend this tour! We loved Siena!
