Rainy day so had to be moved indoors of an open farmhouse. Plenty of wine. Chef was very informative and helpful….food was awesome…people were friendly…the best experience. I would suggest it to anyone!!

What To Expect

Begin your culinary adventure in central Siena, where you’ll join up with your guide and head to a private kitchen.

Siena's countryside is abundant with olive groves, grapevines and sage and rosemary bushes, all which contribute to its culinary success. Using these local ingredients, learn how to first prepare the antipasti, or starters. Under the tutorial of your chef, put together plates of toasted crostini as well as the toppings for bruschetta, bread topped with juicy tomatoes, olive oil and basil.

Afterward, try your hand at Tuscan pici, a thick pasta hailing from Siena. Mix and knead your dough before cutting it into doughy strands, topped off with a sauce.

Then, say ‘Buon appetito!’ as you sit down to eat your dishes with your group. Your chef will select a top Tuscan wine to pair with your meal.

Appetites sated, depart with a recipe card so that you can recreate a taste of Tuscany back home.

Brilliant pasta making class

Great day at the pasta making class! We learnt how to make fresh ravioli by hand. Simone was brilliant, really engaging with each member of the group and taught us all his Nonna’s tips and tricks. He demonstrated how to make other types of pasta. The ravioli was combined and cooked by Ricardo, while we worked together as a group to make tiramisu. Unlimited free wine was on offer throughout, which you could help yourself to. The class was relaxed and enjoyable, ending with a beautiful 3 course meal of bruschetta, homemade pasta and tiramisu.

Amazing experience!! Simone was an incredible host and cooking instructor. The day was fun and full of learning and enjoying! The food was delicious and the views were stunning. We took a taxi there and were nervous about getting back to Siena but Simone called a taxi for us so we didn’t even have to think about it. This experience was a highlight of our trip!

5 Stars – A Truly Unforgettable Culinary Experience in Siena!

I recently took a cooking class in Siena, and it was one of the highlights of my trip to Italy! The experience was warm, welcoming, and incredibly hands-on. We learned how to make fresh, homemade ravioli from scratch — from kneading the dough to creating delicious fillings — and the end result was absolutely amazing. I never knew pasta could taste this good! The second part of the class focused on tiramisu, and wow — it was the best I’ve ever had. The instructor was knowledgeable, patient, and made the whole experience fun and approachable, even for beginners like me. The wine with class was nice too!!! Beyond the food, the class had a charming, authentic atmosphere — set in a lovely kitchen with beautiful views of the Tuscan countryside. I left with new skills, great memories, and a full stomach. If you’re visiting Siena and love food, this class is a must-do!

This experience blew my family and I out of the water! My entire family (7 of us) decided to go to Simone’s farmhouse for this cooking class during our stay in Siena, and could not be more pleased with our decision. Simone was an absolutely incredible host and teacher, and by the end of the day, friend! We made homemade ravioli with fresh herbs from Simone’s garden grown right on his farm, and homemade tiramisu. We also had the pleasure of drinking (copious amounts of) his homemade red wine. He even let my mother take home a full mint plant for her own garden at home. If you are going to Siena, you have to experience this!
