Don't book with Enjoy Sicily! There are much better and professional companies in Catania!

I have been booking tours for the last 15 years and this is my first negative review. It is in way a guided tour, you pay for the transport and that is it. I would like to give Rebecca the credit of being an excellent and experienced driver but a guide tour she was not. It was 4 of in the car, me and my friend and another couple. The WV was very comfortable and the ride was smooth. But if you expect to receive any information just don't. For 91 pounds it was a very overpriced half day transportation. We were given 2 hours in Savoca which was enough to have a coffee in bar Vitelli and to see the two churches. Rebecca pointed the church on the cliffs and said this is where Michael got married. There are actually two churches, we got lost as there are no signs and had to use Google maps to find the wright church. We headed to Taormina next, Rebecca's information consisted of 5 short sentences. We asked us to recommend places to eat to which she replied all places are good. Then we asked what about Isola Bella, she said if you want I will drive past it. then she dropped us off on the zebra crossing without explaining where the picking up place will be. because we had to get out of the car quickly, there was miscommunication regarding the time. As we were in the middle of touring the amphitheatre I got a message from Rebecca stating she is waiting for us in 10 minutes. And a map with the location. I called her to ask why she only gives us 1.5 as the website site clearly advertises 3 hours in Taormina, she asked me to send her a screenshot! She had no clue what her company sells. I had to waist more of our precious time. In the end she agreed to give us 20 extra minutes. First she blamed the Viator website for not allowing them to describe the tour properly! This was pure nonsense as I use Viator regularly and have never had such problem. Then she was patronising me and explaining that the advertised 3 hours in Taormina include the time travelling back to Catania, also a lie! I have never encountered such unprofessionalism and arrogance. We had to return to Taormina the next day to finish what we started. All in all, a huge disappointment and a waisted day at overpriced cost.

Dear Unsatisfied Visitor, thank you for writing your opinion. Unluckly you are completely wrong and probably confused... in the program of your tour it is clearly written that you would have had enough time to visit Taormina and Savoca by yourself. We provide excursions since 2013, we deal also with the best Hotels and we know how to describe what we offer: 1) Rebecca was absolutely right as in this kind of tour, the Tourist Guide is not included but it is on request so that our visitors can freely decide if booking also a Guide or not, you did not ask for it. Please read at www.enjoysicily.eu 2) If you think that a Certified Tourist Guide can be included at the price that you paid, it means you are light years far from the way tourism works and you dont know at all what you are trying to talk about. 3) Another couple was with you and they didn't complain about anything. 4) We have 99% positive feedback on Trip Advisor. 5) On a half day tour like yours, lunch time is not scheduled as at that time you are supposed to be already back. 6) Taormina is the most popular destination in Sicily, if you dont book in advance you dont find any good restaurant in any case. This is an international "rule". 7) If you dont know the difference between a Tour Leader and a Certified Tourist Guide it is not our fault. 8) It sounds really funny to expect that for what you paid you can have a Tourist Guide, a driver, insurance, detailed explanations, 6 hour assistance in English, moving from Catania to Taormina, from Taormina to Savoca, from Savoca to Catania. 9) It is really unbeliavable that you dont understand that in the duration of the excursion it is of course included also the time of the journey..!! It is clearly written in our catalogue in the infopage and website. So you think that for example the excursion to the summit of Mount Etna at 3300m , shown on our catalogue and lasting 9 hours, means that tourists have 9 hours to spend on the volcano...???? Are you serious...??? As you travelled a lot you should know that you have to ask in advance if you have specifique expectations..!!. Best Regards.

Nice day but would have liked a larger vehicle to tour in

Savoca was gorgeous and not crowded! It was nice to not have to drive, however the car was too small for 4 people to sit comfortably. Taormina was equally beautiful and had great shopping and dining.

Claudia is a wonderful guide , knowledgeable and fun- perfect English. Good amount of time in both The Godfather location and Taromina. Can’t recommend this tour highly enough.
