Incredible trip with so many memorable moments - the ride up the hill in Savoca, the church carved out of the rock, and Mount Etna in the background. Paolo was very knowledgeable and pointed out many interesting features we wouldn’t have otherwise noticed. Highly recommend!

Driving up to the Church were Michael Corleone got married at the top of the hill on a motorcycle that held 5 people. Also going to Bar Vittele where Michael met his future bride’s father.

Poor Communication

Although John Franco was a very friendly guy, he spoke little English so communication was difficult. Please be aware this is only transportation from port to 3 stops. That is all. In addition, we were taken to his friend’s restaurant at the end of the tour and forced to buy 150 euros of food that we did NOT order, even after we told John Franco several times that we did NOT want to eat. I would not recommend this tour.

Messina Trip

The scenery was breathtaking!! Buying fresh hot bread snd cheese in Savoca and eating in the van on our way to Taormia! Make time for the Greek theater there is a line and have to buy tickets for admission. Tour guy Joseph saved the day by turning our van around as we were heading for our ship as one of the girls left her wallet at a café!! wallet was recovered, and we made it to a Port on time!! Brush up on your Italian, as we had a little bit of a language barrier. The complementary dessert at the end was delicious.!!!
