Overview

Towering Mount Etna is one of the most popular sights in all of Sicily, but organizing transportation to the volcano’s craters can be a challenge. This convenient bus tour from Taormina drives past charming villages along the way to Etna, before arriving at Piano Provenzana. From there, you have around three hours to explore independently. Take a self-guided hike to the top, or continue the ascent of the volcano via jeep (additional expense). When you're done, head back to your bus to be whisked home.
