Overview

Explore some of Sicily’s most beautiful landscapes—and indulge in its culinary highlights—on this full-day tour from Cefalù. High up in the mountains, amazing views. Cooking demonstration and a wonderful meal. Singing and dancing too. Would’ve given 5* but the host kept giving carafe after carafe of wine to a young woman in our group, who became so incapacitated that she was ill on the bus back and the tour guide had to call for an ambulance. She could not speak or stand.

This tour was the highlight of our trip to Sicily. Roberta and Mimmo, our guide and driver, were absolutely wonderful. The dinner, dancing and music was so joyful, and our hosts were delightful. Such a special and memorable experience!

Authentic Sicilian Experience with an excellent guide!

Roberta, our guide, was knowledgeable, a local, and loved by all who greeted her. She took us to her home village of Castelverde and walked us through the ancient streets, explaining village life as we walked. Next, we went to La Posada for a cooking lesson then to the restaurant for dinner. As we exited the bus, the vibrant accordian player and guitarist welcomed us along with the owners. The treated us to antipasti, primi, secondi, and dolce. All was delicious. In between courses, we danced to the authentic Sicilian music. Our dancing moved outside for a traditional circle dance that was great fun. If you are looking for an authentic Sicilian experience, sign up for this tour. It is excellent!

I love this tour! I came all the way from palermo to be picked up in cefalu for this tour. luckily i had another tour guide to sort out my pick up points and taxis etc before as there were so many people so much shambles but at the end the tour guide was attentive to me and sorted out my appointment with my taxi etc. That place is quite cold so bring a jacket. we went to visit st mauro in a village and went for cooking demo and dinner. The musician guy I think I was most impressed with he played with heart and was eager to make people happy all night long. The food is brillant. I tried some new food. I absolutely love the prickly pear and cactus! my new delicacy favourites! I really would like to enquire about some cooking classes actually! I ended up buying the olive oil they had on sale as its absolutely gorgeous! xx
