Tour was good but expensive

The pickup for this tour is in Siracusa, quite the walk if you're staying at the far end of Ortigia. There are many other tuk-tuk tours on Ortigia

Good way to see a lot of spots, especially with the intense daytime heat. The tour guide didn’t really speak any English- which was a little disappointing- as he seemed like a lot of fun- and while he used a translation speaking app- it sometimes fell flat. We still enjoyed ourselves and I used my phone to text a few questions into Italian which was ok. The Tuk-Tuk was cute and boy the navigate tight spaces. Ours seemed like it was on its last legs compared to some of the others we saw driving around- lots of smoke each time it started. Overall fun, value was 8/10.

We were a family of 5 and had to reserve 2 tuk tuks. They stayed together, which was nice, but our guides spoke very little English. We were shown different areas and still we walked away not knowing anything more than when we started. We still enjoyed the sights but it was a lot of $$$$ to not be able to communicate and ask questions.

Hello and thanks for your feedback, as informed you before the booking, thorugh viator, a tuk tuk can host max 4 people that's why you had to book 2 of them. I am sorry that the tour wasn't as you have exspected, the description on the advertising is clear and the tour offer a sightseeing of the city of the most beautiful places. Sorry about the language maybe the driver wasn't really fluent but they use an audio guide but as you were 2 tuk tuk we were sure you could ask all the question you wanted to do to the english speaking driver you had in one of them. We always hope that our customers have the best experience as we try our best, and we are sorry about your feedback. thanks for your time and we will use it to get better.

Tuk Tuk Adventure in Siracusa with Sicily in Travel

Our Norwegian cruise had to reroute due to high winds in Catania, and instead we docked in the beautiful port of Siracusa. Fortunately, we found a fantastic two-hour Tuk Tuk tour with Sicily in Travel, and it turned out to be a wondeful tour! The meeting point was conveniently located just a five-minute walk from the port. Since we disembarked earlier than scheduled, we enjoyed a delicious coffee and croissants at a nearby café while waiting. When we arrived at the meeting spot, we were warmly welcomed by Iolanda, who offered us water and coffee as we waited. Everyone was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Soon, our Tuk Tuk arrived and our adventure began! Riding in the small, fast vehicle was such a fun and unique way to explore the narrow streets of Siracusa. Our guide was knowledgeable, pointing out key historical sites and stopping at several picturesque spots for photos. It was a perfect way to see the town in a short amount of time. It was efficient, informative, and very enjoyable. Highly recommended if your time in Siracusa is limited!

While we were in Sicily and didn't speak Italian, the trip was advertised that the tour was in English. Driver spoke no English, but used a translation app on his phone to tell us what we were seeing. Booked for 4 people, but only 3 could be squished in the back seat. I was forced to sit in the front seat with the driver....only problem was that the seat was really only for the driver. I had to sit at the edge of the seat so I wouldn't hamper the driver steering. Since the driver spoke no English, there was no interaction with him at all.

Hello Mary, thank for the time you've spent to write your review, i am so sorry to read your review but definetely i will get some advises from this, even if 2 stars i don't think is a fair evaluation as we do organizes these tours everyday and people is always so satisfied and the tuk tuk always carry 4 people and we don't get so much complaints. Some drives speaks english better than others but the one that was with you that day was one of the best, friendly and nice person but i know his english is not really fluent and i am sorry for this but he gives always his best services and people are so happy about him. We always try to provide the best services and you seemed so happy that day when you got off for tuk tuk. You could inform us in time and we could find a quick solution. Thank you
