Excellent Afternoon on the Water in Ortigia

My family of four with two teen daughters really loved our experience with our skipper, Antonio, out in the ocean off the coast of Ortigia and Syracuse. We cruised the harbor along ortigia then the castle and around the peninsula toward Syracuse. We could see Mt. Etna off in the distance and Calabria even further. Antonio took us all the way back into the caves for a peek and then on to absolutely crystal clear waters for snorkeling. Our captain broke out apertifes from a local bakery and a bottle of Prosecco and even accommodated my wife’s celiac allergy with gluten free snacks. We headed over to another spot with amazing views of ortigia and blue water.we swam to shore and found shells and sea glass to bring back. Antonio was very respectful with my wife and kids, chill, and had a great playlist I should have gotten from him. Highly recommended private experience for some time on the water.

Boat was good. Skipper was experienced but with very little English. View and experience was amazing. Prosecco was part of inclusion but it was never offered when asked. Pick up location was different from the booking and was difficult to locate. We had to drive there. Please ask for exact coordinates, not just the address.

Great tour around Ortigia

Nice tour around the irrigation island, well organized. Small boat with shadow perfect for our family of 4. Trustworthy captain, the fruits and drinks were welcome. We would have loved knowing a few informations about the city and places we saw but it was difficult as the skipper only spoke Italian.

Had the most amazing trip! Our skipper, Mario was so fun, took us to the most beautiful places, and let us decide how we wanted to spend the tour. It was an amazing way to see Ortigia and the area!
