This was a very enjoyable day. Our guide Victoria was personable and helpful and our transportation comfortable.
Jerez and the Spanish Riding Academy was wonderful especially if you appreciate horses. Cadiz was lovely only wish we had had more time there. Would do it again

We booked this tour 5 months ago because we were in Seville only for 3 days and the tour was offered twice a week.
A week before vyatit asked if we could change the date. We could not, so they accommodated our request. On the day of the tour they sent a mini van which had one other guest. The tour guide, Fernando, did not speak a word of English. We were provided no information from start to finish and this was a whole day tour. We asked a few basic questions and he could not answer them. It was unacceptable. We have booked through visitor many times before and never had such an experience.
The show in Cadiz of the Andalusian horses is well worth it, so is the tour of the Tip Pepe Vineyard. At the winery the driver Camillo, did not give us a ticket which was required for the wine tasting. We got a wine tasting because we explained, but it was basic. Not worth the money we had paid for this tour.
All the way back to Seville the driver and tour guide talked to each other non stop in Spanish. Not a word of interaction with the clients & again no information shared.
Extremely poor and unfortunate. We were all very disappointed.

The horse show was the highlight of this entire tour. The trip was more of a transportation to Jerez and Cadiz, but we enjoyed it a lot. Van was very comfortable and driver was reliable. Wish we had more time to wander around in Cadiz, but at least we got to be there and enjoy!

The tour was a disaster from the beginning. Our pickup time was changed by 2 hours and I specifically asked if the tour changed and was assured it did not. Wrong!!! Our guide did not speak any English and the tour omitted the sightseeing in Cadiz due to the late start. We had no way of knowing this at pickup so we were stuck on the tour bus with a non-English guide (basically a driver). We went directly to the Royal Equestrian show and were rushed into the show. From there, we were taken to Cadiz for lunch with explicit instructions to return to the bus stop in 1 hour for the trip back to Jerez for the winery tour. Again, rushed into the winery, took the tour and returned to the pickup/drop off point.

I wouldn't have given any stars but that wasn't an option. We were asked what language we spoke and were promised a professional guide, instead we were put into a car with 3 other people of different nationalities, 2 French speaking and 1 man who spoke Spanish. The driver didn't speak any English so we didn't have a clue what was going on. We only had 1hr 40mins to run around Cadiz. The horse show went on forever. I wouldn't recommend, not for what it cost. They completely changed the order of the day. We were told pick up was at 9am then later told it was 10:05am. That hour they took off us could have been spent relaxing in Cadiz. We didn't even have time for lunch. The Tio Pepe tour was the best part of the day. Please folks DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. We paid £109.25 each. I don't usually post bad reviews but I had such a bad time with Viator on this holiday that I felt I had to. I have emailed them but they're not interested.

Good cities to see but rushed and overpriced with NO (zer0) guided information. Better to do yourself and save €€€

The day trip to Jerez and Cadiz was fantastic. The bus pick us up from the hotel at the designated time. The Winery was a great experience and the tour guide was fantastic in explaining how they made wine ending with a tasting. The Royal Andalusian performance was spectacular! I truly enjoyed the show. The on your own time in Cadiz was fantastic. It allowed us to view the city and shopping on our own and in just the right amount of time.
Chris_C, Sep 2019
The Andalusian Horse Show was extremely impressive and should not be missed.
Cardiz even though not as impressive as Cardoba and Seville is still very picturesque to visit if you have time.
The tour guide Antonio made the day trip very enjoyable and his local knowledge was unlimited. Highly recommended.

I had a great time on this trip. Our guide Toni was great, we felt like we were traveling with a friend. It was relaxing and beautiful. We visited the winery, otherwise I'm not exactly a wine person, but I'm glad I saw it, a great experience. We tried super fine Solera sherry wine :) . Toni gave us a lot of interesting information during the trip. It was educational. Cadiz was also beautiful, city/port. All in all, a recommendation!

Very nice tour, but need more down time to shop at sites visited if wanted.

Horse show was great but felt rushed before and after.
marianjt, Oct 2017
An interesting well balanced trip. The horse show was brilliant, even without being a horsey person. My only criticism would be about the intermittent microphone on the coach which was annoying. Two hours in Cadiz was enough to get a feel about the it - a lovely place.
Donald K, Oct 2017
The horse show was great. The rest of the trip was just ok or boring. The guide spent more time talking in Spanish to everyone else and very little time for the English speaking guests. Plus, she was hard to understand. So, most of the trip was not very memorable as we didn't have much of a guide.
Andras_S, Oct 2017
Rich programme, great places, reasonable tour management. The coach tour on the beach in Cadiz is poor experience however.
Carol S, Oct 2017
It was hot, of course, it's Spain. It would have been good to give out water like other tours do. Also we were dropped off in Cadiz and told we could purchase a map at the visitors center. It would have been good to provide maps. I paid a lot for a tour of a winery and the horse show. The guide, Jose, was friendly and had a good personality. But I could have saved my money and taken a bus to Cadiz and Jerez and
Our guide, Jose, was very nice and had a friendly personality. The tour of the winery was disappointing. But the horse show was amazing. However, if you were to do it again. I would take a bus to Jerez and buy a tour of the horse show. Maybe I would have gotten more information about the school and the horses. I thought for the cost of this tour we would get a little more. For example, it was very hot, normal for Spain, yet no water bottles were previded. I
Our guide, Jose, was friendly and had a nice personality. The horse show was amazing. However, I didn't need to pay so much of this tour, I could have just got tickets for the horse show. I would have liked some information about the school and the horses besides the show. I found the wine tour boring. I have experienced wine tasting many, many times. This was the worst. Two things that I really didn't like were: no water and no maps. It was hot, of course, it is Spain. Yet no water bottles were supplied. I have never been on a tour where water was not provided. Also when we were dropped off in Cadiz no maps were provided. When asked for a map, we were told we could buy one at the information booth. This tour was disappointing and way over priced.

Great trip! We had included on this day the Horse show, it was magical
PUSHPENDRA S, Jul 2017
This was one of our best trips out from Seville. The Royal Equestrian School at Jerez is amazing. The show of Spanish Haute Ecole is superb. Being a polo-player and horseman I found it to be truly spectacular. Far better than the more well known Vienna Spanische Hofreitschule.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and kept us interested throughout the journey thru beautiful countryside with amazing insights. She is seen in the picture next to me.
Kim_M, Apr 2017
The sherry tour and tasting was very good, the horse show was very repetitive and although the horses work very hard and are very skilled its the same thing over and over for the whole show. I started to feel sorry for the horses by the end of the show. Our time in Cadiz was hampered by the weather as it was so cold and windy so most of our time indoors however the bus tour around Cadiz was good. Our tour guide Maria was very good and handled the situation very well when our bus broke down on the way back to Saville. Would recommend the winery and Cadiz but give the horses a miss.

This was an excellent tour and Javier was a superb guide. From start to finish, he was friendly, welcoming, informative, helpful and with a good sense of humour as well as very proficient in English. The tour was well organised, with the morning visits in Jerez to the Tio Pepe sherry tasting and the horse show being particular highlights. Time was available for a leisurely lunch in Cadiz afterwards. Note that the tour no longer includes a boat trip as was previously the case. Thank you so much, Javier!
Amanda K, Feb 2017
Wonderful tour, taking in quite a lot in one day. Enjoyed everything, especially seeing the sea at Cadiz, and those beautiful, amazing horses.
Deana C, Nov 2016
Great tour guide (Jose) useful and informative narrative and lovely manner to all the group giving us all personal attention. Just the right amount of group time and touring time. Lovely day all round
Arkady P, Oct 2016
Good trip, definitely worth to go. The guide in the vinary was very knowledgeable and fun. Unfortunately, the company guide was a disaster. She spoke terrible English, most of the time she spoke Spanish, ignoring English part of the group. Based on what she managed to say in English, I took that she actually doesn't know much. We don't know who Viator local provider is until we pay and receive a voucher. I think the company should do a better job to screen its providers.
Philip G, Jul 2016
The description on the Viator web site is a little misleading. Firstly, it describes the pickup and drop off point as our hotel but it should have said near our hotel. Also, there is mention of a cruise which we took to mean a boat cruise but that did not materialise. Having said that, the pickup point was only about five minutes away from our hotel so no hassle.
It was a very long day with an excellent commentary whilst on the coach. The visit to a sherry winery at Jerez was very good with an excellent guide. We then went on to watch an Andalusian Horse Show which was really good. All that before lunch. On to Cádiz where we had some free time to have some lunch at one of the many cafes and looking around the shops.
A coach tour of Cádiz with a couple of stops for photos and a drive back to Seville.
Although the cost does not seem cheap, it does work out at very good value for money.
Frank B, Jul 2016
Took the English guided tour, but guide only had limited English. On the journey to Jerez, she tried to read information from her iPhone, phonetically, therefore could only understand every 3rd or 4th word. Pointed to sights and only stated palace, beach and park. The winery visit was very interesting, they had their own guides. Horse show was ok. Overall very disappointed that I didn't learn anything about Jerez or Cadiz considering it was an expensive tour.
Karen C, Jul 2016
This tour was fabulous, our guide was very knowledgable and entertaining, made sure all of us were happy. Would gladly recommend doing this tour
Ned L, May 2016
We enjoyed the tour very much. The guide, Antonio, was very knowledgeable and personable and answered questions without hesitation. His English was excellent given that the tour was both in Spanish and English. We enjoyed the tour of Tio Pepe sherry factory we only wish that they would have given us a bit more time to taste the different sherries something like 15 minutes which is no enough. The equestrian exhibition was superb we had never seen Andalucian horses perform before and the riders were masterful. It was like a ballet with horses.
We also enjoyed our time in Cadiz. Since it was a tour, there wasn't much time to explore that city other than allowing us two hours to have lunch in the central square and driving through the city. It made us want to come back to Cadiz for a few days at some point.
All in all, an excellent tour.
John_D, May 2016
We really enjoyed this trip! The luxury minibus arrived punctually and was extremely comfortable. We were impressed with the driver since he drove at a nice, 'gentle' speed. The tour of the Gonzalez Byass Tio Pepe Winery was fascinating thanks to an excellent guide who was a most capable translator in English and French. The 'dancing' horses show is a delight to behold.
One of the slightly negative points was the fact that our tour guide struggled to speak French when our French companion had been told she would have a French translation of the sights we saw. Naturally, she was disappointed about that. We also thought the time spent in Cadiz could have been longer as, by the time we had eaten lunch, there was no time to walk around and see very much.
Overall, though, we would thoroughly recommend this trip!
Katia T, Apr 2016
Unfortunately we had rather bad weather during our trip, but the guide was perfect and great fun. Cadiz in the sun would have been nicer, but we made the best out of the day. The Sherry Bodega was very interesting, but the horse show not really our thing. Make sure you have breakfast before you leave as there a no food stops before lunch around 2PM.
C M C V, Apr 2016
The Bodega we visited in Jerez was beautiful and the guide very knowledgeable. There isn't much else to see in Jerez but then we were off to Cadiz which is a very pleasant city, lovely gardens on the seaside and beautiful white sandy beach.
Tony F, Mar 2016
Excellent! The guide was very nice and helpful. Even when I was the only tourist instead of cancelling they sent me on a taxi. Really great.
