I cannot recommend this trip or this tour company because it was incredibly disorganized from start to finish. We were given incorrect times made to walk very long distances and throughout the day not told clear instructions on what to expect at what times and where to be. I felt that I could have made much better use of the day going solo than with this tour.

The horse show was wonderful and we enjoyed the sherry testing too. However the trip itself left a lot to be desired. We disliked how disorganized the tour company Viator contracts with that provided the tours . We were told to meet at 8 a.m. By the time the bus picked us up and then took us to another place to get on another bus and wait for a couple who were lost or late, we didn’t even begin the drive to Jerez until after 10:30. The means were got up at 6:30 to leave by 7:30 to meet a bus that did not leave in time. Secondly the guide was rude and condescending. We are all in our 70’s and were most of the other patrons. There were 4 young people on board but my experience shows me that the majority of patrons are retired and older persons. The guide side very fast and had a strong accent and was hard to understand even when we could hear him. He walked very fast. One of our party walks with a cane. There was another person who also used a cane. E we talked to him 4 times and asked that he set a pace where everyone could keep up and he did not listen nor attempt to accommodate, and even in Cadez asked the other group of 4 to leave the group and meet up later. That is not what we paid for. We believe that the disorganization and late start pushed him to push though the tour to meet his timeline. If it were not for the young woman who was his co-guide and stayed with us so we didn’t get lost, we would have been left behind. He did not even acknowledge the driver who did a great job. So bottom line the co-guide and the driver received tips but the guide did not. As a side note, the previous day we did the Rhonda and White towns tour. Our guide Driss, took my sister under his wing and walked with her at a slower pace so we could keep up. No one complained that we weren’t walking too fast. These tours are hilly with narrow streets and mostly bricks or cobbled streets. If he would be that conscientious then others can too. Subsequently, she ended up not going on the Cordoba tour because of it.

We loved the Sherry tasting experience in Jerez. We learned a lot about the sherry production process and really enjoyed tasting the different sherries. In Cadiz we enjoyed the free time walking around the city and having lunch near the fish market. Our tour guide Petra gave us lots of information about the history of both cities and points of interest along the way. Great day trip!

Our guide, Manuel, was fantastic - he taught us a lot about everything that we visited, and was fun and entertaining as well! We enjoyed the sherry tasting, and the horse show was really neat. Probably about a half hour longer than it needed to be, but we were a bit sleep deprived so maybe just had less patience than usual. The stop in Cadiz was fun, we learned a lot about the history of the city and had a great lunch.

Best part of this excursion was the horses show. Really good.
As I had already visited Sevilla, Cadiz, although different, was still in the same style.
The Xeres wine tasting was interesting.
Maria, the guide, was great. Very knowledgeable and friendly.

Dris was an excellent guide, funny and engaging while speaking English, French, and Spanish to our small group. Very interesting sherry tour in a beautiful winery, fun horse show, and great food at the street market in Cadiz. I highly recommend the calamari and chicharones! (First not the Spanish word, and the second is no doubt spelled wrong, bit try them anyway!)

As per pictures of text conversation with your agent I especially asked if we were going to Tio pepe and was told that we were. My husband has always wanted to visit Tio Pepe so after he had recovered from a bad stroke I wanted to take him there and did not find out that we were not going there until the evening before the trip and it was to late to cancel . I was so angry and disappointed , it ruined our holiday.

We understand that this may have caused confusion, but it was not with our company that you spoke.

The sherry tasting, horse show, and the Roman ruins in Cadiz were the highlights. Easy going day trip from Sevilla. Manuel our guide was super entertaining and informative about Cadiz.

Manuel was a nice guide. He was very knowledgeable and kept our group together gently. The sherry wine production stop was quite interesting and fun to taste a Spanish product even if it is really all for the British market! We had really signed on to the tour to see the Andalusian white horses perform at the Spanish Riding Academy. They were so gifted and brilliant. It was such a dream come true to experience that! Then, Cádiz was fascinating and a beautiful town- Easier to get your arms around it than Sevilla. Very charming and with a very Mediterranean vibe. We had a nice lunch there, sitting with others from the tour and met a very nice couple from Colombia. We got along so well and have started texting to remain friends. We loved having some free time in Cádiz to wander and eat gelato in the square while listening to a guitarist. Thank you Manuel for a great day we will never forget!

Manuel was an excellent guide. Informative, funny, extremely knowledgeable about the history and spoke 4 languages. The bus driver did a great job navigating often tight streets. The only complaints were about the bus itself. The A/C was not very good and the seats were narrow and tight back to front. Basketball players and large waisted people wouldn’t fit.

The horses in Jerez were amazing to see and were indeed memorable. Really loved hearing about the history of Cadiz and exploring the old town. Our guide Manuel was very informative and entertaining and the driver Antonio was fabulous.

Our tour guide (unfortunately his name slipped our minds) made our journey thru the wine tasting in Jerez de La Frontera, a magical one. Cadiz was fantastic; this town caught my heart with his beauty and history; his people and excellent gastronomy and our guide suggestions on this regard were on point. Kudos to the fantastic tour guide and the driver, who took us safe and sound to our destinations; we definitely look for you on our next trip to Spain.

I don't like Sherry! But for people who do, they would have enjoyed it. They guide was very informative and spoke good English.
I was on the tour to see the horses. I would have liked more time with them and been able to speak to someone more about their training ect. The show itself was amazing.
Would recommend. Our guide was very good, friendly and spoke very good English. Our driver was exceptionally good, we got caught in a massive hail storm on the way home and he handled everything so well!

Our tour guide made this a good experience. When he met us, my wife had just left her purse in the Uber. He interpreted for me and fixed the problem without us holding up the start of the tour.
The Horse show was less than good. A bunch of horses prancing around a ring!
The Sherry tour was spectacular but could have done the tasting later in the day and not at 10:30. I slept through the Horse show.
Again, our guide's knowledge made this an interesting experience.

A full day. Our guide, Petra, was great, humourous and knowledgable. We were scheduled to visit Tio Pepe but were taken to Diez Merito instead. I believe this was a much better and more personal choice.
The horses were amazing and we spent a good amount of free time in Cadiz.

Petra was a very informative tour guide with interesting facts about the areas of Jerez and Cadiz. Interesting tour of Bodega Tio Pepe in Jerez on the history and creation of sherry and tasting of several different sherries. Andalusian horse show was pleasant and highlighted very disciplined horses and riders. Lunch at the Central Market was very enjoyable with a stroll along the water to the Castilla de Santa Catalina.

Wonderful tasting and explanation of the sherry production process. I didn't think I would like sherry, but this changed my mind. The horse show was great, similar to the show in Vienna. Just wonderful. Then a visit to Cadiz. Several excellent experiences at once.

The tour was about half of what I expected. The pick up location was is unclear as the map provided an inaccurate and pickup was late. I was contacted in WhatsApp at least to confirm they were coming.
The guide was lovely, put her strong accent made her English difficult to understand.
The sherry experience was interesting, but irrelevant to me. I took the tour to see the horses! But at the equestrian center, we were told there was no show, only a dressage competition. We were there for 1 1/2 hours, but only saw three horses do the same exercises in an outdoor arena. . If you go, confirm the show schedule!! I had to buy a dvd and I hope I can see “the show”- even the indoor arena was closed off. The grounds are lovely, but not seeing the whole reason for coming was VERY disappointing.
Cadiz is wonderful, but there should have been an option for at least a partial guided tour or a map. Cathedral entrance is not included, more info on the highlights should have been provided as with only 2 hours of free time, we wandered aimlessly, and just had time to find some lunch (not included- bring snacks!) The tour is a great concept, but needs attention to detail. If you go, do your own research on the show & highlights of Cadiz to be prepared.

I loved this tour and it was one of my highlights from my trip to Seville. Our guide Miguel and driver was great. Our group was a nice size and every one was very friendly. The drive from Seville to Jerez went quickly and we were in a very comfortable bus. The sherry tour was really interesting and not too long at all, and we got to taste various samples at the end. I then went to the horse show at The Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art, and it did not disappoint. I was the only one from my group who was going to the show, and the bus driver guided me into the venue and made sure I got to the right seat, which was very nice of him. The show itself was fantastic with beautiful horses, music and very talented riders. If you like horses, then you should definitely attend this show. Next we went to Cadiz, ate lovely tapas at an outdoor market, and Miguel brought us on a walking tour of the city. It's so interesting, with a fascinating history. We finished our walking tour beside the sea, with blue skies and sunshine. Highly recommend this tour.

Amazing trip and a really good combo of the 2 cities. The horse show was spectacular (can’t believe how many stupid people go to the show to look at their phones during the horse performances…. But anyway) and the wine sherry tour was great. Short drive between Jerez and Cadiz made the day maximum with time but what was best of all was our guide Petra …. She was by far the best tour guide I have ever had in all my trips in Seville. Fun, informative, outgoing…. She brought the whole trip to life … great persona and character so when I do another I will ask for her and having her as a guide will make me more likely to book.

All in all nice tour, Transport and Guide ok. The tasting more a tourist thing (only the two basic Tio Pepe products), but nice to see the famous place. Horse show excellent, some hours in Cadiz also enough to get a sense of the area.

What a fantastic trip! Can't think of a more relaxed and enjoyable way to pack so much into one day! The tour of the Diez Merito site was fascinating, very informative and wonderfully presented by Maria in English and Spanish. The tasting of a wide range of sherry and brandy products was an excellent finale to the winery tour!
Next, the Andalusian Horse show was a special treat - horses and their riders in breathtaking harmony!
Finally, a chance to explore the architecture and history of Cadiz, together with it's many shops and bustling stalls around the fish market. Grateful thanks to Petra and Lola for managing the tour with expertise and enthusiasm, 30th August 2022.
