Stelios and Sarah were my guides for this tour and it was amazing. Despite going during the slow season they made it a really enjoyable experience and showed off how to get to places that would otherwise be filled with tourists and hard to reach during a busier time of year. Incredible experience.

We had a wonderful experience, taking the semi private tour with Stelios and Maria. They were both friendly and very knowledgeable about the island. We got to explore five different little towns and villages and Maria was ready and willing to take our pictures, as she knew the best spots and angles to get beautiful backgrounds. I highly recommend You take this tour whenever visiting the beautiful island of Santorini.

Johanna or Joanna, my apologies, our tour guide was really great. Went to Oia and a few other towns beside Santorini and saw great scenic spots. It was awesome and would definitely recommend it. Keep in mind, depending on the time of year, the cable car system may have a long line. In Oct, only one ship so no problems at all.

This was a great way to see the island. I did expect to learn more information around the history of Santorini but we mostly got dropped off in different spots and told to walk around.

Joanna was a fantastic guide through Santorini. She knew the island and its history so well and she gave us plenty of alone time to wonder on our own. She was great with my children and she gave us both the history and the current state of the island. Though it was very hot she maintained a cheerful attitude and led us through the winding streets of Santorini. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you get Joanna!

It was rushed we only had 15 mins to see Santorini, shop and take pics. There was a great deal of other tourists so it was hard to even walk from one area to another , so again the short time we got was just enough to take a few pics.
No bathroom break because we had to leave the guide didn’t have a flag for us to follow her or find her. This was a waste of money.
We were disappointed and do not recommend this tour.

I really respect your review to us but I can’t understand it.
On this tour we have 1 hour in OIA for shopping as the first stop and for fotos.
Also in that area there are a lot of bathrooms and on tour free time you could go or to ask your guide about it and I believe he will help you.
The next stop is only for fotos 15 to 20 minutes on Firostefani area and there also they have public bathrooms.
The next stop in Megaloxori they have everything on that village.
And as I know the last stop for one hour you are on the black beach near to the restaurant that we recommend and you have plenty of time to relax to eat and to swim.
We do that tour every day and we never had this complaint and it is really bad to hear it.
Now about the the walk we are sorry but in Santorini all the views are on the cliff and you have to walk a little bit.
Now about the flag that you say we don’t have it because our tours are small and we are all together and we don’t need it like the 50 people on the big buses.
We always do the best for our clients to be happy with us and to spend the few hours with pleasure.
We are really sorry about your opinion but as you can see on that tour all the others are very happy and enjoy it .

Our one-day private tour of Santorini was, without a doubt, one of the most magical days of our cruise. From start to finish, everything was seamless, personalized, and absolutely unforgettable. If you’re arriving in Santorini by cruise ship and only have a short time on this breathtaking island, I cannot recommend a private tour highly enough—it’s the best way to experience the highlights without stress or crowds.
🚤 Smooth Pickup from Tender Port
Santorini doesn’t have a deep-water port, so cruise passengers arrive via tender boats to the old port of Fira. We were a little worried about logistics, but our tour operator provided clear and timely instructions. As soon as we arrived ashore, we met our guide near the base of the cable car station (be sure to take the cable car up—the views are amazing and it’s the quickest way to town). Our guide, Maria, greeted us warmly with a sign and a smile, and we were on our way in a spotless, air-conditioned Mercedes van within minutes.
📍 Perfectly Curated Itinerary
Since it was a private tour, we had the flexibility to tailor the day to our interests. Maria suggested a perfect balance of iconic sights, local experiences, and photo stops—and she was absolutely right.
1. Oia Village
We started with a morning visit to Oia, beating the cruise ship crowds. Oia is everything you’ve seen in postcards and more: gleaming white buildings, iconic blue domes, winding alleys, and panoramic cliffside views. Maria guided us through the lesser-known backstreets and quiet corners for the best photo ops—and we even had time for a relaxing coffee with a view.
2. Firostefani & the Famous Blue Dome
Next, we stopped in Firostefani, a quieter village with stunning caldera views and the picture-perfect blue-domed church often seen in travel magazines. Maria even snapped a few family photos for us, which turned out beautifully.
3. Profitis Ilias Monastery
We ascended to the island’s highest point for panoramic views stretching across Santorini’s entire crescent shape. Maria shared stories of the island’s volcanic history and local culture that added so much depth to the experience.
4. Megalochori or Pyrgos Village
We chose to visit Megalochori, a charming, off-the-beaten-path village with cobbled lanes, bell towers, and quiet courtyards. It was a peaceful contrast to the more touristy spots and gave us a feel for traditional island life.
5. Local Winery Stop 🍷
No trip to Santorini is complete without tasting its unique volcanic wines. We stopped at a boutique winery for a relaxed tasting of Assyrtiko and other local varietals, accompanied by cheese, olives, and unforgettable views of the caldera.
🍴 Optional Lunch with a View
We had the option to stop for a traditional Greek lunch, and Maria recommended a seaside taverna in Akrotiri. Fresh seafood, grilled vegetables, and Santorini tomatoes—absolutely divine. Dining with our toes almost in the sand while watching the boats go by was one of those moments you never forget.
⏰ Timely Drop-Off & Zero Stress
Maria was constantly mindful of our ship’s schedule, adjusting the itinerary as needed to ensure we made it back with plenty of time. She dropped us off at the cable car entrance in Fira with over an hour to spare, and we were back on the tender boat with zero stress.

Very nice experience with very knowledgeable tour guide.
The tour was great and our guide Tina was really helpful and friendly.
Our driver Nikos was very friendly also and drive is safe everywhere.
We enjoy mostly the beautiful Oia with the domes and the architecture.
Also at the traditional village of Megaloxori we had a nice walk to see where the locals leave.
The and of the tour on the black beach was also nice.
We had an amazing lunch on a traditional taverna and we eat nice seafood.
We recommend it to everyone.

Wonderful tour. Excellent value for money. Your was advertised as a small group, which turned out to be just my wife and me. Jenny, our tour guide could not have been better, very knowledgeable and personal. Tour lasted about five hours including a stop for lunch at the Black Sand Beach. This was a great time to visit Santorini. No crowds, great weather and Jenny made it very special.

Nikki, was an amazing tour guide. She picked us up at 945, bit gave you to arrive by 1015.
Due to wind, we did have to pick up other group members along the way. Nikki was very flexible about doing this. Unfortunately one couple, that we picked up late, just wanted to shop and pushed for us to return to the port so they could shop. Don't go on an excursion if you don't want to be there for the entire time. With only 26 taxis on the island. Nikki arranged them a ride back to the port so they could shop and we could continue the excursion. I wanted to see everything on the island and was able too thanks to Nikki. The black sand beach was amazing.

Jenny met us at the top of the Cable Car 10 minutes early and whisked the 8 of us off to our private Mercedes van.
This was by far the best excursion I've ever been on. Tony our driver was magnificent and took us to points that the big tour buses cannot go.
Jenny and her parents were born here and she gave us the best experience imaginable.
Also, the Black Beach was fabulous. A real Beach with soft black sand!!!

We were looking for a way to see the highlights of Santorini. I booked this the day before for our day in port. We liked that the tour is easy to locate. Nick our driver and Nikki who did the tour were fantastic! Nikki knows so much information about Santorini as she has lived there her life. The tour itself was good. They kept us out of traffic tourist areas except in Oia ( it was so busy there) we basically had only time to use restroom. Other stops were nice for photos. I wish we would have been able to go inside a bakery that is basically on one of the stops as we were all hungry. That would be a nice addition to this tour. All in all it's an easy way to get around in a few hours time.

The outstanding communication provided made it easy to find our guide in the crowded area. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly and maneuvered us through the highlights with care and consideration and acted as a personal photographer for everyone in the group so that we had great pictures! She knew all the best places to stop for photos and recommended several great spots to stop for quick treats, we had chances to stop and shop but never felt like that was the whole point of the tour as sometimes happens. We had free time at the beach at the end of the tour and while I'd have loved more time there, the balance of activities filled our day without feeling rushed or hectic. Our driver navigated the tight busy streets between Fira and Oia and the beach and back easily in our comfortable air-conditioned vehicle and I felt safe during the entire experience and returned in adequate time to make our way back to our cruise ship which I had been very nervous about after hearing stories about the epic waits for the cable car down.

Gorgeous and breathtaking views, history lessons along the way, with passionate knowledge of Santorini, Costas by far made our excursion one to remember and cherish. He not only knew the best sites to see, but ushered other tourists out of the way so that we can get the perfect pics (that he even offered to help take). Quick stops to see the oldest grape vines and even reaching the pinnacle of the seeing the sunset at the still functioning Montessori, Costas knew when to give more insight and when to pull back so that we could relish the experience. Best condensed experience of our Santorini tour!
