Itinerary

The proposed tour covers the island's major sights, such as the village of Oia, filled with whitewashed buildings overlooking the island's caldera. Check out Akrotiri, which features bronze age ruins mired in cooled lava from an ancient volcanic eruption.

Our guide Theodore did a great job! He was attentive to everything we wanted to see & do in Santorini and even pointing out uneven pavement along our exploration so we would be safe. He took great pics for us and made time to take us to one of his favorite local restaurants for lunch, Agelos Steak House, also great! Thank you Theo!

The tour of Santorini by land was a great decision! The island offers so much to see. Our driver Tomas was excellent. He took us to all the major site seeing places and knew all the best spots to stop for photos. Great way to become aquatinted with Santorini.

Theodore was our tour guide. He spent more than four hours showing us Santorini. He took us to a delicious beach restaurant for lunch. He was kind, considerate and very knowledgeable. He took amazing photos fir us!

We were able to see a lot of the island on this tour and our driver did stop at quite a few scenic spots. Our driver was very friendly and accommodating but did not totally understand English and had only lived on the island for two years and did not know as much as other tour guides we had on our trip. We were not able to make the visit to the winery but he did take us to one of the highest points on the island for a wonderful view. We were able to get to the red sand beach for an overlook but due to time constraints we could not hike down to actually walk on the beach. Luckily, we told him we wanted to be back to Fira for the cable car by 2:30 and at that time the wait was about an hour to get on the cable car. We had enough time to get down on the cable car, walk to the tender and be back on the ship before all-aboard. I enjoyed this tour because we got to see so much of the island, however, I would have not stopped for lunch like we did and instead grabbed a snack while in Oia or something from the winery which we might have had time for and been able to walk down the the red sand beach.

We loved having a private tour of Santorini! Our guide was amazing. He took us everywhere we wanted to go in a beautiful Black BMW SUV. The highlight was the Moni Profiti Ilia Monastery. It rests on the highest point in Santorini 1,701 feet high. You can see the whole southside of island from road then the north side from the courtyard inside the Monastery. View is beautiful. Visited Black and Red Beach, Family Winery, and other beautiful views of this gorgeous island! Private tours are the way to go you have one on one attention and no others but your party to contend with. Our driver was absolutely great!
