If you’re visiting Santorini on a cruise, this is an excellent excursion and one I highly recommend. The tour stayed perfectly on schedule, which left us with several more hours afterward to explore, shop, and enjoy the island on our own. One tip for fellow cruise passengers: be sure to get in line for tender tickets at least an hour before tickets are available. The tender process can take a while, and you’ll also need time to ride the cable car to the top, where your guide will meet you. With a little planning, this tour is absolutely the right choice. Nifela was an absolutely outstanding tour guide! From the moment we met her, her bubbly, friendly personality made the entire day so much fun. She kept everyone engaged with fascinating stories, local insights, and an incredible knowledge of Santorini’s history. We visited some of the island’s most beautiful locations, including Prophet Elias Monastery, the traditional village of Megalochori, Firostefani with the iconic Three Bells of Fira, Imerovigli, and Oia. Every stop offered breathtaking views and something unique to experience. Nifela explained the island’s volcanic origins and the history behind the caldera in a way that was both interesting and easy to understand. Learning how the volcano shaped Santorini made seeing the island even more incredible. She also knew the best viewpoints and photo spots, making sure we captured amazing memories throughout the day while still allowing plenty of time to explore each stop. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip. Nifela’s enthusiasm, warmth, and expertise truly made the experience unforgettable. I learned so much about Santorini, its fascinating history, and the volcano that created this incredible island. We had an excellent expirience on this tour. The only thing was initially when we found them with the sign there was well over 100 people waiting for the same excursion. That scared me ! BUT they divided us into groups so once the boat got us to our destination we went on large vans with about 18 others. Our guide ( I wish I could remember her name because she was amazing) was wonderful. Santorini was nothing I expected but I am glad to have expirienced it. Got a good amount of time at each stop and the best part was the tiny village at the end! Would absolutely recommend this excursion
