Amazing day in Santorini

We had the best day in beautiful Santorini thanks to Viator’s excellent customer service. We booked a small group minivan tour, but my husband and I were the only ones on the tour. Our driver had car trouble and Viator quickly rescheduled us with another driver. George arrived within 30 minutes in a beautiful Mercedes sedan. Due to our delay, he extended our tour and we saw the entire island. It was a fabulous day! George is so knowledgeable, kind, fun and entertaining. Thank you George for the wonderful memories. You are one of a kind! See you next time!!

Kia was a great guide. She was knowledgeable and showed us great sights with wonderful information. The less star is from the fact that Santorini is just very crowded to get to the meeting place. And though we avoided crowded places on the tour, getting to the driver and leaving tainted the trip.

Mary was a wonderful tour guide. Transport was perfect for our family. She even helped us customise the tour to include Akrotiri which we wanted to see, and brought us to the picture perfect spots, and the beautiful Perissa beach to collect volcanic stones! Experience of Santorini was made so much more enlightening with her detailed sharing of its historical past!

We had a fantastic time. Our guide Fotios was warm, funny, very informative and a real pleasure to spend the day with. Got to see the best part of Santorini in the limited time we had during our cruise stop. The itinerary was well planned and executed by our guide. He also suggested a wonderful restaurant for lunch right on the water with fresh delicious food. I would highly recommend this, to everyone!

Best tour of our vacation

I think this tour with Yannis will be my favorite part of this entire vacation. We were panicking because it’s not easy to predict how long you’ll take getting up the cable cars from the cruise ships. Yannis was so wonderful in every way that I’m not sure how to not write a very longggg review. My daughters phone needed a phone charger, he stopped without hesitation to get one. Took us to an amazing stop for breathtaking pictures and we stopped for a nice lunch at Nobu. This allowed all the tour buses to take the masses to the area we were dying to see. It was less crowded for us in Oia as a result and it was everything we dreamed it to be. He knew the best photo spots, let us shop leisurely and then more touring to the monastery and wonderful tales of the island and its history. Best tour ever. Ask for Yannis, his easygoing manner mixed with interesting knowledge of Santorini makes us want to come back again… soon !!!

No wine tasting tour....

Enjoyed walking through the old village. The monastery was okay but takes time to get to top for views. In the description, it stated "wine tasting" included but there was NO TASTING! Disappointing as wine is supposed to be one of the top things to do in Santorini.

Good tour, but skipped the spot I wanted to see most

Overall we loved our Santorini tour. Mary did a great job showing us around, pointing out good photo spots, local plants, restaurants and informing us of history and what we were seeing. We had a really good day. The reason we gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because they skipped the Prophet Elias stop saying “we did not have time” and then dropped us off after 4 1/2 hours - 30 minutes early from our 5 hour tour. The view from the top-the Prophet Elias Monastery was the stop I was most interested in and had asked about it a few times during the tour, and was the reason I chose this particular tour, so definitely disappointed in it being omitted and dropped off early.

Beautiful day in Santorini guided by Sofia !!

Sofia was our tour guide and she took us to the best picturesque spots in santorini. She knew the places with the best views and scenery. She was very sweet and kind and it was like spending the day with a good friend. We ended the day at a beautiful niche winery/art gallery and tried some delicious Greek wines. It was a perfect way to end the tour. Sofia was the best!!!!
