The tour was a little chaotic to start, but Victor got us squared away. Loved Santorini. - but Oia is CROWDED in the summer!!! But then Victor took us to a quaint little village and then the black sand beach for lunch and/or a swim. I’d knock off a star for the insane crowds in Oia, but that’s not the tour’s fault.

Amazing experience you definitely skip the line and are transported on an air conditioned van. The guide was super friendly and knows the best places to take pictures. At the end they take you to an amazing restaurant on the beach. Worth every penny!

Overall, the tour was good. You have to wait for the local ferry to take you to the new dock to avoid the cable tram to start the tour. Once arriving there our guide and bus were waiting and the tour started.
Our guide Maria was excellent. Very knowledgeable. She took us to great view points in Fira and tried to avoid the crowds as much as possible. We were given the opportunity to wine taste or explore in Oia. Those that did the wine tasting enjoyed the experience.
Our biggest complaint was the lunch restaurant, Fish Taverna O Pervilolos. The service was slow and the food was not very good. Because of the slow service we got very little time to enjoy the beach. The village at the end of the tour was quaint. Santorini is a beautiful island. Wish we had more time to explore but we needed to get back in time for the ferry to the ship.

We had a wonderful time with Alexandra exploring Santorini. I always appreciate when the itinerary delivers. We enjoyed some really lovely towns and had a wonderful time. I do wish we had more time to shop in the smaller less busy town we went to, but that would be my only feedback. Really a lovely tour.

We had an amazing experience with Alex and Tazos! Meeting up with our guides after tendering from the cruise ship was very easy. We had enough time at each stop but never felt like it was too much. We saw different parts of the island and ended up at an amazing restaurant on the beach. Highly recommend.

The driver and the tour guide were excellent. Very friendly, professional, helpful and made sure everyone was enjoying the tour. This has been a dream of mine for many years and I was not disappointed. The people on the tour were helpful and friendly. I had a knee injury and everyone treated me as family. Over the top amazing! We were in port for the day and George was sure to show us the beautiful island of Santorini. He was very knowledgeable, transportation was clean and safe, we got to see so much in just 5 hours. The amazing part, since it was my daughter’s birthday he bought her a cake and candle and sang to her on the bus! Huge thank you!

Thoroughly enjoyed riding the 13 passenger van around the island. Alex was very friendly, informative, and made us feel comfortable, especially with my 78 year old MIL who walks with a cane. We went to 5 stops, drove the entire island of Santorini, had time to quickly snap photos at each place. Also able to do some brief shopping for wine and souvenirs. Ate a late lunch at the end (you pay for this separately) by a black sand beach, which was very cool! The whole trip took about 5-6 hours. Best way to see a lot of the island in a short time!

I had a great day with the tour guide and viewing beautiful Santorini. The last stop was an arranged small boat from Viator and the boat that picked us up capsized in the middle of ocean and we were fighting for our lives. I'm heartbroken that a great excursion wmcoukd go terribly wrong. The boat had engine problems and we had to be rescued.

We toured Santorini with a small group and a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating with our group. It was a real bonus not to be caught in the cable car line up and literally “skip the line”. I would recommend this tour over any the cruise ship offers. Our experience with those is there were big groups of people and the guides were not nearly as friendly or as informative as Victor, our guide for this tour.

The tender situation from viva was slow and the shortening of time in Santorini meant our tour was cut short. We were left by guide at the port with no communication about the return boats. It took an hr and half to get back to ship wasting all of that time we paid for in this tour.

Wonderful way to see different aspects of Santorini Island. We had a great guide, Viktor, who gave just enough but not too much information. It was paced right, we saw a lot and were allowed enough time to shop or get a cup of coffee and savor the magnificent views.

Zeus and Angel were both amazing. Zeus is a fantastic guide. He gave us excellent information on Santorini mixed with some great humour and kept us entertained whilst travelling. He was very caring and looked after those less able travellers. We had a fantastic day, made even better as we were lucky enough to travel with Zeus.

It started off perfectly and I hate to give it 3 stars because the guide Zeus was right where we were told to meet at the designated time when we got off the tender and the communication was great. But, then it fell apart. After just tendering from the ship we had to take another boat ti another dock. By the time we did all that an hour had passed. We boarded a bus and our guide Zeus did a very good job giving us history of the island including ancient history and current history. But, we got to the town of Oia to see the blue domes and it was so over crowded we were “sardines in a can”!
My best recommendation to anyone is skip Santorini if there are other cruise ships there. It was miserable with the over crowding and tourism run rampant. Santorini was an incredible disappointment and we would never go back.

Please note that tendering from your cruise ship is arranged by the ship itself, but 30 minutes is considered very prompt and efficient on their part. Our 30-minute boat transfer is designed as the best option to avoid the long cable car lines, which usually take at least one hour.
The total tour duration was provided exactly as advertised.
As for the crowds in Oia, there is no way to avoid them, as Santorini is crowded from May until October. However, it is not fair to say that travelers should skip this beautiful destination because of the crowds. Rome is even more crowded, receiving around 40 million visitors per year — would you suggest skipping Rome too?
If you want to explore Santorini without crowds, we recommend coming in winter and enjoying the island then. The weather is still pleasant.

Overall, good tour. Lots of back and forth tendering, and the small bus was a bit squished, but our guide was great and we got to see lots. There was time to get pictures, take in the sites, wander, and get treats. Learned a lot about the island and hit all the sites without the chaos of the cable cars. Enjoyed the experience and would do again.

Our guide Alex was a lot of fun! He showed us so many interesting things about the beautiful Santorini Island and included a lot of historical information. Very relaxed. We went to a lovely restaurant by the beach to enjoy a quick lunch and drink. Views were spectacular.

Customer service immediately refunded us upon learning that our ship was not able to make port as there were refugees on a boat breaking up in the sea, and our Captain made the decision to save 63 lives, even though it cost us this stop.

The tour picks you up once you get off your Tinder boat and there is a short ride to another port where you ride a mini van up and start your tour. They drove us all over the island so if you want to experience the whole island of Santorini this is a great tour. Alex was our guide and he was very informative, helpful and friendly. The line for the cable car was so long. We were very very happy we picked this tour.

Coming from a cruise ship, this small group (18 max) tour is an excellent way to bypass cable / donkeys and see basically the entire island (especially good if you have people who struggle with walking). You get to see and experience in small doses all the main sites while getting around in very nice MB van (has plug-ins for charging and bottled water also provided). We finished at the black sand beach where we walked in the water briefly then had a drink at JoJos..

Nice walking tour; we booked this Santorini tour since our afternoon shore excursion was cancelled and we wanted to see more of Santorini. The tour operator was a great communicator (we needed to meet up with the group a little later based on the ending time of our morning excursion) and was at the meeting point at the appointed time to meet us. Really enjoyed the tour and walking around Oia and Megalochori; our guide was very knowledgeable - he gave us plenty of free time to enjoy "Forty One" on the Perivolos beach - great snacks and beverages. Avoided the Cable Car lines - our driver brought us directly to the port area where we were able to board this ship - very convenient on a warm, sunny day!

Our tour around Santorini was wonderful. We were able to skip the cable car line and hop on a comfortable, air conditioned bus to see the island. Our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable and took us to all the beautiful places with gorgeous views! I would definitely recommend this tour.
