Top Santorini Outdoor Activities

Me and partner booked this experience thinking it would be nice beach walk riding the horses as it sold to you. This is the not the experience we/ group got. The horses were anxious and not well trained some of which kept biting and kicking each other. The route taken was all single track and narrow between the sand and rocks with a drop off which wasn’t enjoyable. Another rider in group horse took off and left the group luckily she didn’t fall off. This also shock up all the other horses which almost had other riders off their horses. She also didn’t have a correct helmet as they didn’t have adequate head gear to protect her she could have seriously injured herself as her hat came off when the horse took off. There was also no real safety briefing or quick practice with the horses. There was many occasions where people asked for help and they was ignored. The guide didn’t seem to have control of any of the horses. It got the point where 3 out of 6 people had to get off as there horses kept trying to run off and almost had them off many times. Everyone in the group had times where there horses kept trying to get them off. I highly recommend you go with another tour guide and do your thorough research on the others. Some of the horses also didn’t have horse shoes and proper equipment. I have come through a horse background and done riding this was not acceptable to let people book. After the ride we then spoke to the manger on the phone which after hearing about our experience then gave people refunds.

The ATV tour was one of the highlights of our holiday It was the perfect way to see Santorini, exploring parts of the island we would never have discovered on our own and taking in some truly breathtaking views along the way. A huge thank you to our guide, Pavlos, who was absolutely fantastic. He was so friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about the island, sharing so much interesting information and making the whole experience even more enjoyable. You could really tell how much he loved what he does. And the food at the taverna was absolutely amazing there was SO much of it! Everything was delicious, and it was such a lovely way to finish what had already been a fantastic afternoon Thank you, Pavlos, for such a fantastic experience. This was a wonderful tour in around villages of Santorini. The tour guide was informative and fun to be with. The itinerary provided many different views of the village and was so much fun. Our tour guide (ALEX) was awesome and tailored the ride to our capabilities and preferences. We had some unexpected stops that provided us with amazing photo shoots and memories (including a sunset photo shoot)

We had a wonderful experience on the sunset boat tour and volcano visit. My husband and I really enjoyed the whole trip from start to finish. We were picked up from Oia in a comfortable minibus, and after collecting the other guests, we headed to the boat. The boat itself was beautiful, very well maintained and in excellent condition, with plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy the journey. The food was good, the drinks were reasonably priced, and the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive throughout the trip. Everything was well organised, and we felt very comfortable the whole time. The sunset was absolutely beautiful and made the experience even more special. We genuinely loved the tour and would definitely recommend it. A fantastic experience and one of the highlights of our Santorini trip! ❤️

This was a 5 hour tour of Santorini with ability to customize the experience. OUTSTANDING tour! Dimitris was our guide and EXCELLENT. Truly knowledgeable, friendly, professional, engaging. Very safe driver. We enjoyed him immensely! Our chosen itinerary was a visit to Fira (we were staying in Oia, pickup there included with drop off later, seamless!), Church of the Three Bells, on to Akrotiri archeological site- well worth the €20 ticket). We spent a hour there. Then on to black sand beach, the Monastery of the Prophet Elias (highest point on Santorini, beautiful), finished with glass of one at Santo Winery with a little charcuterie. We could not have enjoyed this tour more. Dimitris knows this island well and has any variety of sights and places to customize your tour anyway you wish. We loved that. It has high marks on Viator by reviewers and no wonder why now. We are from USA and Dimitris spoke English fluently and clearly. I think we can be tough critics most of the time in these types of tours, but this hit all the marks. Hope you enjoy it too!

I’m not sure what the other tour guides are like, but Mary/Maria was amazing. She was knowledgeable about the wines, but even more importantly (to me) she was extremely kind and charismatic. I was laughing as much a i was drinking. She helped make this 10/10! The wine was great too.

We had an amazing tour in Santorini with Viator and our tour guide Kostas! He was absolutely wonderful—friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and made the entire experience so enjoyable. The walk was intriguing as we wound up/down/around authentic, narrow cobblestone streets through 3 villages. Our guide, Michael, provided both historical and current context for the sites we experienced. Definitely wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for a good workout! We particularly enjoyed experiencing a true cave house (no longer in use). A great beyond the usual Santorini experience.
