Nathanja was a great tour guide who was very knowledgeable and passionate about Donostia! The pintxos and drinks that were selected were delicious and Nathanja explained them very well.

Amazing Food and an Even Better Tour Guide

Fran was absolutely amazing. The title of the tour was spot on - we ate at the best pinxto bars in the city and Fran knew everyone. He was the mayor! Places were packed but the second we walked in, the workers spotted him and got us our food and drinks immediately. He also was so accommodating on the fly. We told him we were looking to eat a few specific items and he changed the entire tour up for us effortlessly. The food was phenomenal as expected but Fran was the real reason this tour was so wonderful.

Fran was a fantastic guide and all the pintxos we ate were amazing. He answered all our questions, showed us how to order at pinxto bars and taught us some very useful Euskara phrases to show respect to the local culture. I saw some gigantic tour groups walking around which makes sense if your guide's goal is to make as much money as possible. Fran on the other hand makes sure to keep the group size small, out of respect for the guests as well as the pintxo bar owners. Afterwards he gave us a list of his recommendations to explore on our own and so far every single one has been great. Could not recommend more, thanks again Fran.

Det var to timer i hyggeligt selskab og med rigtig lækker mad (og vin) som man aldrig selv havde fundet. Vores tourguide (Fran) var charmerende og sørgede godt for vores lille gruppe på fem mennesker.
