Our guide Bergonia was excellent, she told us lots about San Sebastián and its history. She tooks us to lots of different places to try various food and drinks. I would recommend doing a food tour, it’s a great way to get a feel for a city when you arrive and the guide will be able to give you lots of recommendations which you can go back and try yourself. We try and do a food tour in every place we visit.

Amazing food, beautiful city and great tour guide. We loved this tour - it was the perfect pintos tour with fun surprises! The guide was fantastic and the food was delightful. We had an issues that the company wouldn’t communicate with our guide to let her know we were running a little late due to a train delay so we could meet the group at the second stop. It worked out but the company should have a mechanism to contact the guide. I wouldn’t let this stop you from taking the tour but be aware that if you are a few minutes late you have no recourse.

We had a wonderful tour, our guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about his topic. Antonio Bar had a wonderful tortilla Pirata with caramelised onions (yum). My husband had sardines on toast at the Juan Sebastian bar which he raved about.

Amia was a fantastic guide and it was clear she was passionate the about the food and wine and sharing it. The food was some of the best I've ever eaten in my life! The neighborhood is much quieter than old town and is mostly locals, so it's good to know how to navigate a local pintxos bar before trying on your own!
