The Folks that we Met were Fantastic. We had the Honor of getting Team "1". Very Responsive to make sure that your Ride was worth the Trip. If your vehicle stalled or was giving you a bad time they were on the Spot instantly. Very polite and fun.........

We loved this adventure today. The people at Mayan Eden were great and letting us hang out with their animals. The facilities were well maintained, and the animals were treated well. The ATV adventure was my 12 year old’s favorite part of Roatan yet. The paths/roads were appropriately bumpy, rocky, muddy. I had issues with my dune buggy initially, but they were happy to swap it for one that worked. There were even showers afterwards to wash all the mud off. The last stop was at a gorgeous resort with an enormous pool and pristine beach. Our drier was great, too. Would recommend this to anyone.

Our family had an absolute blast on the Roatán Buggy, Sloth, and Beach tour! From start to finish it was one of the most fun excursions we’ve ever done.
The off-road buggy ride was such an adventure. You definitely get dirty, but that’s part of the fun! Driving through the trails, splashing through mud, and seeing the island from a different perspective was incredible. The views were beautiful and the whole experience was exciting for both adults and kids. Bring a change of clothes, because you’ll probably be covered in dust or mud by the end — but it is completely worth it.
Our guide Clancy was a fabulous host. She made the whole day easy, fun, and relaxed. She was knowledgeable about the island, kept everyone laughing, and made sure our family had everything we needed throughout the tour.
After the buggy ride we headed to the beach, which was the perfect way to finish the day. The water was gorgeous and clear, and we had such a great time swimming and relaxing together as a family.
This tour was so fun, so beautiful, and such a great way to experience Roatán. If you’re traveling with family and want something adventurous but also relaxing, this is the perfect excursion. We would absolutely do it again!

Amazing experience!! The Monkeys, Macaws, Sloths, and Butterflies were awesome. The buggy ride was a blast and we got extra muddy. The Resort was BEAUTIFUL!! I booked for the buggy ride, but enjoyed the animals and the resort just as much. Don't pass up this excursion.

The equipment is not maintained properly. Everything seems like a Band-Aid. Both my buggy and my wife's buggy failed on the trail. They all need new suspension. My steering wheel broke which was unsafe. The trail felt like it was nothing more than four or five figure eights The zoo was great the beach was great. The driver/guide Dennest was excellent. Leave out The equipment And just have dentist Take you places

The operator made us wait more than one hour because other passengers were late. The driver changed our transportation because the other group wanted to travel together which was fine. However, Logan deliberately delayed our ATV tour to let the other party go first because they were a bigger group. We were made to wait for another hour for the ATV ride. When it was our turn, they sprayed water on the ATVs that just returned. We were asked to ride on dirty and wet vehicles and we did the ATV for only 30 mins instead of 45 mins. The operator was not professional and did not treat us right.

We regret the delays you experienced. A passenger from another group with kids went missing in the crowded port disembarkation, requiring our team to assist until the person was found. This unavoidable situation delayed a little initial departures for all.
Your group of four was then offered, and accepted, a separate private vehicle for added comfort and privacy instead of joining a larger party.
Our ATVs are always cleaned, washed, and sanitized between tours. The brief wait before your jungle ride followed Roatan’s mandatory conservation rules limiting vehicles in the jungle at one time.
You completed the full itinerary: jungle ATV, sloth sanctuary, and our private historical beach stop with infinity pool and ocean views.
In goodwill, we promptly approved your requested refund of US $200 even though the tour was fully delivered.
As a small, family-owned woman owned native Roatan business, we strive to provide personalised service. The manager Logan arranged the private vehicle specifically to enhance your experience of Roatan’s jungles and beaches.
We respect your view but feel a one-star rating does not reflect the care given or the substantial refund provided. If this context changes your perspective, we would very sincerely appreciate an updated review.

This was a great excursion. We are "older adults" and many of the cruise excursions have age limit restrictions against us. This tour was a blast! It was better than expected. We started by visiting the sloth, monkey and bird sanctuary. The guide was great at explaining about all the animals and we got great photos with the monkeys, birds and sloth. Then we went for the down and dirty ride on the jungle buggy. It was wet and messy, but we were prepared and enjoyed it. We ended the tour at an amazing and beautiful resort with beach and pool access and the most beautiful views. Clancy was our tour guide that ensured we had everything that we needed at every stop along the way. I would definitely do this tour again--highly recommend.

We went as a family of 14 with ages ranging from 5-50. We had staff team #1 and they were amazing. We were covered head to toe in mud everyone agreed this excursion was a 10 out of 10!

We had an enjoyable day overall, with a few parts that could have been a bit stronger. The ATV section was fine, though it involved quite a bit of stopping and starting, and the route stayed within a small loop of track, so it wasn’t quite as adventurous as we expected.
The monkey and sloth sanctuary was interesting, and we did get to see monkeys and parrots up close, but the experience didn’t fully match the photos in the advertising. We only saw one sloth during our visit, so it felt a little limited compared to what we’d hoped for.
The highlight of the day was definitely our driver, Rigo. He was brilliant - friendly, helpful, and really made the experience smoother. He also let us take our time at the beach club resort towards the end, which we really appreciated and ended up being one of the best parts of the trip.
Overall, a mixed excursion with some enjoyable moments, and Rigo’s service truly stood out.

Regarding the Sloths and Wildlife: Our park operates as a natural habitat rather than a zoo. The animals you saw—including the sloths, monkeys, and parrots—are raised and released into our protected forest canopy. Because they are free to roam, they come down from the trees entirely at their own will. We never force them down or restrain them for photos, as their welfare is our top priority. While this sometimes means guests might see three or four sloths, other times—like on your visit—only one might decide to say hello. Additionally, strictly enforced new laws regarding animal interaction limit physical contact to ensure the safety of the species. We apologize if this wasn't clearly communicated beforehand; our goal is always a natural, respectful encounter with wildlife.
Regarding the ATVs: We are taking your comments about the ride very seriously. Our property spans about 14 acres with various winding tracks, but we are investigating why your specific tour felt like a small loop with too much stopping and starting. We want the experience to be adventurous and fluid, so we are reviewing our procedures to ensure the pacing is improved immediately.
We are sincerely sorry that we missed the mark on these parts of your day. We strive for 5-star experiences, and we want to make this right.

My trip was absolutely horrible. In our very short time at the dune buggy atv park our buggies broke down 13 times. Infact some of these breakdowns were critical in nature and in total we tried driving 7 different fine buggies before the end of the trip. On one break down in particular my wife and child’s fine buggy lost the brakes and they nearly hit a utility pole. Several of these broken down dune buggies we tried had compromised safety restraint systems as well.

Thank you for your feedback. We regret that your experience was disappointing, but we must correct some points for the community of so much was problem — All managers were present you did not ask or reported to anyone and anywhere
1. Island Conditions: We are in a tropical jungle during the rainy season. Mud and puddles are natural parts of the adventure, not equipment failures.
2. Buggies: Our records show one buggy had a minor issue that was fixed instantly. Claims of 13 out of 15 broken vehicles are factually incorrect. Also you claiming one buggy did not perform well then why you seek refund is applied for everyone and especially when the tour was completed on all 3 venues. We are really lost on this part…?
3. Value: We are glad you enjoyed seeing the sloths, monkeys, rare birds, and the beach tour, which validates the tour's overall value.
We believe in fairness, which is why we offered a generous 30% discount across all three venues for all three of you; before this review was posted. We ask guests to be honest with the online community about their experience.

It was the absolute best experience of our lives. I would do this again and highly recommend to anybody else. Our Tour Guide Mansar was exceptional and provided the best customer service and can’t wait to come back and see him again. I highly recommend him to everybody. This is a very fun day. We started out at the animal refuge and encountered butterflies, monkeys and even sloths. We then went on a great buggy ride. Warning: You will get muddy. The day ended at a private resort where we were two of 10 people on the private beach. Our guide “Tom Tom” was so accommodating.

We started at Eden Maya where we were dumped off with an accumulation of about 4 other groups. The tour guide walked us around quickly and we saw sloths, monkeys, and birds. From there we went to the buggy ride. This was really fun and we got really dirty. They work hard to make your experience amazing! Bring a change of clothes or wear a swimsuit to use the outside showers. Now, the beach stop is where I was frustrated. We did not go to the intended beach due to “sudden van trouble”. He took us to a beach closer to the ship which wasn’t very pretty and we only got to stay for an hour even though the itinerary said 2 hours. (See pics). All in all it was fun but I was a disappointed with the organization at Eden Maya and the poor follow through on the beach.

What a great experience. Pick up from cruise port was easy, tour guide was awesome throughout the entire day, animal farm was great and staff were super friendly. Buggy ride was a lot of fun and those guys work hard to provide the most of the experience. Tour guide was very conscious of our port times and we had no issue at all making it back in plenty of time.

We chose this excursion for the ATV adventure. The ATV ride only lasted 10 minutes. Half of the time on the ATVs was spent idling waiting for other groups to clear our path or waiting for the rest of our group. We did not go to any of the places shown on the advertised pictures. It was all on a very small area of a couple acres of criss crossing tracks. No water. No river crossing. When we asked why it was so short, they told us the other families driver said they had to be back at a certain time. They were on a private tour. We were the only family in our van. Both families told them we did not care about going to the beach and we only booked the tour for the ATVs. It did not matter to them. Truly felt like this was a bait and switch.
That being said, our driver was great. Very nice and personable. Told us a lot about the island.
The animal sanctuary was a lot of fun. The beach resort was dull. The resort looked nice, but it would have been a long hike to ocean and time was short, so we stayed by the pool and had lunch. Only food available was the pool side restaurant that had a VERY limited menu, and the food quality was poor.
Very disappointed in this tour. Only thing that kept it from being 1 star is the driver and the animal sanctuary.

They didn’t send enough buses for our group so we had to sit on each others laps. The dune buggies had multiple break downs so we didn’t get to ride much. The stop to the “beach” is a joke. Just an expensive place to eat lunch. The water is so brackish not safe to get in. Save your money

Kelvin was our private guide. He was the best tour guide we have ever had. Kelvin was heaps of fun and had a great personality with a good sense of humor. The experience we got with Kelvin was absolutely fantastic. We did the ATV, wildlife sanctuary, restaurant, chocolate factory. Great experience!

Overall - amazing experience. The guide Kelsey was first class and stayed with us the entire day. All locations were professional and felt safe the entire time. Everyone wanted to make sure we had a great time. The private resort was quiet and staff was excellent. If you have a choice - pick Kelsey for the tour. . The only issue is the literal chaos once you leave the port to walk to Main Street for the pick up. It was by random chance that we saw Kelsey holding the sign with our name on it. Absolutely crazy! Once picked up - smooth sailing with Kelsey.

Good- staff running our tour at each location. Everyone was incredibly nice, helpful and did their very best to ensure we had a good time.
Bad- the equipment at the dune buggy was very poor. We had to switch buggies twice with the second time leading us to having to take our guide’s atv back to the start. It was stop, then go for 2 min. Then someone would have a mechanical issue.
Things to know- the animal sanctuary will be incredibly busy. This is our second time visiting and both times it was packed. But you will get your picture with a monkey and a sloth, just be prepared for lots of waiting.
There is no food provided despite this being a 5+ hour tour. Bring your own.

We had a great time, staff was great and we had lots of team support during our ride.
We lucked out in that it had rained a lot the previous few days so we had lots of mud all over.
The sanctuary was great with th2 sloths, tucans, and all the other animals.

We had a great time. Raymond was our guide. He was the best. He was very helpful and positive. He needs a raise.
The animal reserve was a good time. The UTVs broke down a lot so we stopped often but the team was right there to fix and restart them. If they couldn't they changed to a new UTV.
The beach and pool were gorgeous. I might schedule a trip just for that place.
