A wonderful day

Our ship was a little bit late Dave from Charlie’s was waiting patiently,took us to do the horseback riding first our guide was very helpful , told us history about the island, took a lot of pictures for us ,then after the ride Dave took us to west beach white sands very nice .when we we’re done getting our rays Dave dropped us off at the ship I will use the Viator app . Again !!!

This tour was great! I took my Aunt for her 75th Birthday and all she wanted to do was ride a horse in the water. This tour delivered since the one associated with the cruise ship had age limitations. Ricardo, our Horse guide, was so funny and pleasant. He took great care of us and my Aunt had to get a picture with him. Shaniel, our driver, was just as personable. She got us set up at the beach fast and with ease. Highly recommend this tour.

Best day ever! Riding horses and soaking up beach breezes

This was the excursion that I had most of my hopes pinned on and it did not disappoint. It seemed like a madhouse of confusion when we stepped out the gates of the port to try to find our guide but we were helped immediately and pointed to Odessa, from Charlie's Roatan Tours, and then our adventure began. Riding the horses through the vibrant green and past homes was delightful. While the sort bit crossing the main road did make me a little nervous it was worth it to get to go splishing into the ocean. I *loved* it! The ride back was sedate and we were back to the corral before I knew it and I was still buzzing off the joy of splishing in the water. The second part of our day was the perfect counterpoint. The little private beach we were taken to was lovely. The lazy time spent lounging in the shade of a coconut tree was refreshing and I enjoyed soaking up every moment of it. The drinks and food at the Thirsty Turtle were top notch all the way through. I did indulge in both and I regret not an ounce of it. When it started getting a little too busy for my tastes we packed it in and Odessa asked if there was anything else we wanted to do before we went back to port. I wanted to do some souvenir shopping and she obliged and took us to a shop that had a little bit of everything it seemed. I was very happy to get to shop without the crush of people in the port. I had such an amazing time I don't think I could have imagined a better day.

Great tour customized just for us! The driver/tour guide, Dave, always looked out for us and made sure that we enjoyed every moment and were treated well by others, especially at the beach! The horses were assigned perfectly according to our level of experience, my 81 years old mother rode a horse for the first time and she loved the experience! I definitely recommend This tour and Dave!!

Everything about this trip was very smooth - from pickup to drop off. The driver was ready and waiting. The horses knew exactly where to go. The lounge chair on the beach was vacant. We had say in everything we did and it was a great time!

More than we expected.

This excursion turned out to be more than we expected. Yes, we did all the things listed (horseback riding, beach, etc.) but it really turned out that we had a private driver for the day that allowed us to customize what we wanted to do and how much time we spent doing it. Rolando helped guide us on customizing our day to what the kids wanted to do, which included a detour for zip-lining, rum cake tasting, etc. in addition to what was already on the itinerary. He also provided guidance on which vendors to use for things like jet skiing while we were at the beach, hair braiding etc. so that we could get the best value for whatever we wanted to do. While these additional items did cost extra money, it was worth having someone knowledgeable and helpful to guide us and make the experience unique to us. Lastly, the beach break was great. We stopped at a beach front restaurant that had chairs and shade, as well as any water based sports you wanted to do (for an additional cost). Service was AWESOME (Thanks Shaun). Would recommend this excursion and suggest that you allow Charlie's to help you make it your own.
