The show was actually quite good. The entertainers were excellent. We enjoyed the cultural experience of seeing the different dance costumes throughout history, and the choreography was awesome. I even got to dance on stage as a bonus….

Overview

While in Rio de Janeiro, go out for a night in the city with this admission ticket to see the live show Ginga Tropical at Leblon theater. This 1.5-hour show is in its fifth year running, and it gives you an interactive tour of Brazilian culture through dance, music, and live performance. Watch as artists combine frevo, Capoeira, and other methods of entertainment. At the end of the show, you can even join in as the cast invites the audience to samba with them in a Carnival-inspired finale.

Wonderful experience of vivid colours, rhythms, energetic dance and excellent dancers skills! The essence of Brasil and it's people! Combination of brasilian culture, history and spirit. It's a must to see and fell all the vibes! It's easy to get there by taxi or uber, located on the upper floor in a shopping mall. Unforgettable!

Wow this was fun. The show was high energy and the costumes were great. The stage ceiling was a little low to accommodate some of the flips, but it was no less impressive. The mall it’s in was nice we felt safe. Had dinner before at a nice Italian place. Be mindful the show is upstairs in the mall. They had a bar and snacks available.

Immensely entertaining and a fantastic way to spend an evening after a day at the beach or touring this stunning city. Have a caipirinha (or 3 - we did) before the show and enjoy this infectiously fun experience. Quick and easy Uber ride away from the popular beach areas will have you back at your hotel before midnight.
