The local guide Victoria really looked after the group well and was brimming with enthusiasm for her city. We found the staff at the attractions "Christ the Redeemer" and the "Sugar Loaf" very helpful. The Celeron Steps where unusual though due our poor balance we did not explore them fully as there was no handrail. Rea;;y liked the tour.

Monica did a great job. She picked us up at our designated meeting spot, she took us to all of the places and gave a great explanation. She arranged a place for us to eat lunch which was very unique. And finally, she took a group photo of us and sent it to all of us.

The tour was awesome. The problem was that the cathedral, which was part of the tour, was closed. I have to mention that we were the only participants who had to personally get tickets for the Christ Redeemer entrance while the rest of the group were purchased by the tour guide which made us feel out of place.

Hi, We are sorry that you couldn't see the Cathedral, but sometimes is close without any announcement and is also a surprise for us. About tickets at the Corcovado, We have difference tours and some included tickets and other do not. The difference is the tour rate.

We spent a beautiful day with Gisela and her driver. Gisela was very informative and took us to most of the beautiful sites of Rio. Our visits to the Christ and the Sugar Loaf were scheduled very early in the morning; therefore, we were able to avoid the long lines and big crowds. Highly recommended!

Kiko the guide was amazing. We happen to be on this tour on a very rainy day so the visibility from both Sugar Loaf and The Redeemer was almost ZERO. He took us to see the view from Yizhak Rabin Square which is not as high so we took some amazing photos. Aside from the fact that we got the full history of the city and great insight.

This tour was great! I saw everything I wanted to see in Rio in one day. My tour guide was informative and tried his best to keep the larger group on a schedule so that we could still get everything in. I would recommend this tour if you want to see all the famous landmarks all in one day.

Service was good, the guide was multilingual and knowledgeable well beyond just the tour sites, and the group size was small enough to be manageable (6-12). Good pace. Great way to get an overview of the city. Why not 5 stars? Lunch was good, but crazy expensive. Check before you decide to eat.

The guide showed up almost on time. She was enengetic and caring. Even that early in the morning which meant that I had to skip the breakfast at my hotel the main sightseeing spots were already crowded, that is the Christ Redeemer and Sugar Loaf. The tour of the city itself was interesting also, but crowds everywhere peobably mainly due to the Carnival. This was a hectic tour but a pleasurable one.

This was a really awesome experience! My family and I got to see all the sights of Rio in one day! The tour guide Kiko was awesome. He and his team made sure we had no issues. A person in my party uses a wheelchair for mobility. They made sure everything was always accessible! We couldn't have asked for more.

Carmen, the tour guide took us to all the attracions that she could reasonably cover. I was completely awed. Rio is a beautiful metropolis. Carmen spoke fluent English and expertly answered every question she was challenged with.

The tour was amazing but tour operator customer service was terrible, asked for pick up at my hotel never reply. After I bought the tour told me to go to wrong pick up point, lucky the taxi driver help me find the pick up point which is Hilton Hotel.

Good except there's a bit of confusion when we get to Sugar Loaf site. We taught that everything is included with this tour except for the inclusions like drinks, tips which was only mentioned after confirming this booking. What happened was we have to pay extra to ride on the cable car which cost us 80 Rio money each to reach the Sugar loaf Mt. Which was very embarrassing trying to explain to the tour guide.
Could I please have explanation to this matter.
Our tour guide Magaret was excellent, she so knowledgeable of the place history . She gave advise of what not to do while in Rio for safety reasons. Told us where a good Samba show around the area.. She was on time and pretty much organised.

We appreciated being first in line at the Christ the Redeemer It was amazing. Sugar Loaf also was amazing. I did not think that our guide gave much information about either, nor did she tell us anything about the culture, economics, health and education systems, which we did get from other viator tours I have been on. I suggest that people read ALL of the pages of this tour description. Many did not know that there was a cost for taking the cable car up Sugar Loaf, and advance notice could have been given about needing a pic ture ID for a senior discount. I do not think we saw anything close to 30 other attractions. We did, however, take a long stop for lunch price not included in Ipanema. Most of our group did not take the Brazillion BBQ option, but instead ate at faster restaurants on the street. We had to wait. We were unable to see the Samba Dance school because it was closed for a concert that evening. The guide should have known this, as again time was wasted getting there and back. The Celeron Steps were beautiful and I woould have liked a little more time there.

Rio is definitely GRANDE!!! the tour guide carefully planned it well so that we will be at the Christ Redeemer before the big crowd starts coming in, so we had lots of moments to take good pictures. The guide Vincent, was also very well informed about the places we've been to. I would really recommend this trip on your first day of your visit in Rio to have a good overview of what the city can offer. One thing that is very odd though with this package is that the package name Full-Day City Tour: Christ Redeemer, Sugar Loaf Plus 30 Other Attractions and Lunch is not consistent with what are included in the package. One would automatically assume that just by reading the package name, the Sugar Loaf and Lunch will be INCLUDED. However, please note that the sugar loaf entrance 70 Reales and Lunch are EXCLUDED!!! Me and my friends were quite surprised to find this out when we were inside the van already. We should've read the fine print details, but nevertheless it really sounds like a Marketing fraud to get the attention of the purchaser immediately.
Other than that, the tour went very well, the driver, the guide and transportation was on point. I would recommend this tour package BUT be very careful on the fine prints to ensure that the inclusions are up to your expectations.

Highlight of 3 week South America trip!
Saw so much and our guide and driver were amazing!
To be honest, we started the day a bit homesick and miserable it had and still was raining in Rio, but we saw and learnt so much during the day it completely turned around our experience. Cannot recommend highly enough!

This is a small group van tour there were only 6 of us, so almost a private day tour of Rio: pickup and dropoff in Copacabana, Christ Redeemer statue and gondola to the top of Sugarloaf mountain in the morning amazing views on a clear day, Carretao churrascaria lunch in Ipanema almost too much food...wish we had more time, and various stops in the downtown area in the afternoon Maracana, Carnival parade stadium, staircase, old and new churches. The van had high ceilings and was quite comfortable. Our enthusiastic guide Anna from Portugal and driver Roberto were both great. Even with limited mobility I limp with a cane I was able to do this tour. We went on a hot summer day and one suggestion would be to provide a needed bottle of water in the afternoon luckily there were street vendors for this at some of the stops. This tour is a great way to see the major highlights of Rio in a day.

I found this tour to be a disappointment. Rio is fantastic, but, the tour guide - Leonardo - was unprofessional, I thought.
The company I travelled with - Carioca Tropical - seemed to have little idea of organisation of tours.
The guide never gave a time to meet for pickup, so, you never knew where you needed to be, or at what time. On Sugar Loaf mountain, I looked around for 10 minutes trying to find the group and couldn't, so, I made my own way down to the bus. The driver contacted the company to try to contact the guide and they couldn't. So, I waited 15 minutes in the bus waiting for the group. The guide asked if he could take pictures of us, so, we handed him our cameras and he insisted on taking them on his phone and asked people for their email addresses. I never received them. It is fortunate that I asked other people to take pictures for me, as well.
I never got to see inside the Maracanã stadium either.
Considering that the tour was so expensive, I was very disappointed, especially, as we had to pay to go onto the cable car at Sugar Loaf separately.

Wonderful trip. Very knowledgable, helpful and friendly guide. There were 10 people on this trip and the driver and guide managed to accommodate everyone. All the main sights are included and ample time is given at Sugar Loaf, Chris Redeemer and Escudaria Selaran. Lunch was included and was very good.

This tour was fantastic starting with Christ the Redeemer before the crowds. Our guide Vincent spoke good English and made sure he kept track of the 14 of us which is something we lacked throughout the rest of Sth America. The temp was 41degC so make sure to take plenty of water as this is not supplied. It was good to be able to get back into an air conditioned mini van which was able to negotiate the many narrow streets
