The communication with the car company was excellent...even letting us know they were 78 seconds away (lol). They were right on time. Driver, Freyr, was very personable and helpful. Definitely recommend to use them for your transfer or your tour experience.

Driver was late arriving at port, instructions were not clear where to meet him. Then when we finally met he was in a bad mood, claimed our luggage would not fit even though we had clearly specified the number of items. by the way, they did fit.

Elected a private transfer from cruise ship to hotel in town. Glad we did. Taxi line was long. Our driver was prompt/early and waiting for us as we exited cruise terminal. Effortless, efficient, smooth transfer and within ten minutes we reached destination. Worth the expense.

Our driver was right outside the cruise terminal with the van only steps away.

So easy to book. I communicated directly with our driver, Thor, when we arrived at the cruise terminal. We were there an hour early but he still was able to pick us up within 15 minutes. He found us in the crowd, handled all our luggage, visited with us on the drive about The city, our hotel, restaurants, and things you see in walking distance. Messaged the provider several times to confirm pickup time and location, waited at the pickup location for more than 2 hours and driver never showed up. Couldn’t wait anymore and had to find alternative transportation. Vendor refused refund. Just a terrible experience.

We want to clarify that our team made every effort to connect with your group on the day of service. We sent multiple messages with the driver’s details, including license plate and vehicle type, and attempted to call you several times — unfortunately, our calls only reached voicemail.
In fact, two different drivers were dispatched to the pickup point at separate times to try to locate your group. Despite clear communication and proper coordination, there was unfortunately a mismatch at the cruise terminal, which led to the unfortunate outcome.
We understand how frustrating this must have been, and we are disappointed as well — especially as we’ve successfully served thousands of cruise passengers this summer with great care and precision. This was a rare situation, and we take it seriously.
If you’d like to provide any additional information privately, we’re happy to review this case once more. Our goal is always to improve and ensure a smooth and reliable service for every traveler.

We were ready to leave the cruise terminal much earlier than the time on my reservation. I contacted the driver and he was able to pick us up within about 5 minutes after we spoke. Was very courteous, gave us information on Reykjavík on the way to our hotel. Would use this service through Viator again.
