It is very complete. Includes points of interest for both upper & lower Quebec City. Plus it is strong due to the diversity of sights.

Causal informative and fun experience. Amazing guide and met some wonderful people exploring old Quebec.

Jean-Simon knew his stuff about Quebec and Quebec city and adjusted well when noisy construction nearby made it difficult to hear. Would highly recommend his tour.

Great way to see Old Quebec. Leave the car at the hotel. Easy to get around if you don’t mind hills.
Sarah_F, Aug 2026
Jean-Simon was personable and very engaged with all the members of the tour, from kids to seniors. He made the history come along for our children without overloading them with information; our teen thought his sense of humour made for a much better history lesson than his regular teachers at school!

Tour guide was super nice and informed. Great way to kick off your visit to Quebec and get acclimated. My kids (10 and 15) also enjoyed it. Guide was very willing to help give recommendations to anything - he grew up in Quebec and knows the city well. Highly recommend!

Great walking tour with a local guide. Learned a bit of history of the city and the attractions. The route was easy, mostly downhill, and had a stop for restrooms as well.

Tour guide was fantastic, excellent English. Tour tends to go a little longer than 2 hours which we enjoyed but just a FYI

Excellent walking tour. Highly knowledgeable guide, kept it lively and humorous but didn’t sugar coat the historical facts about Old Quebec.

Our walking tour of Old Quebec with Jean-Simon was the perfect way to begin our visit to this beautiful city.
Jean-Simon was an outstanding guide—knowledgeable, funny, engaging, and full of fascinating stories that brought Quebec’s history to life. His enthusiasm for the city was contagious, and the two hours flew by.
Not only did we learn about the rich history, architecture, and culture of Old Quebec, but the tour also helped us get our bearings right from the start of our trip. We quickly learned how the Upper and Lower Towns fit together, discovered hidden streets and beautiful viewpoints, and picked up wonderful local recommendations along the way.
Thanks to Jean-Simon, we knew exactly where to find the best coffee, authentic poutine, and even the most delicious caramel corn! Those insider tips made the rest of our stay even more enjoyable.
I always believe the best way to experience a new destination is with a knowledgeable local, and this tour proved exactly that. If you’re visiting Quebec City, I highly recommend making this one of your very first activities. You’ll leave with a much deeper appreciation for the city and plenty of great recommendations to enjoy during the rest of your stay.
Thank you, Jean-Simon, for a wonderful morning. It was informative, entertaining, and one of the highlights of our trip!

Really fun and informative. You might think walking around on your own is the same but it's not. You will see things you would never find otherwise and our charming guide made 4 centuries of Quebec come to life. It's a wonderful way to spend a day here.

Great tour for learning the history of Quebec City! Our tour guide Jean-Simone was very informative and kind. He answered everyone’s questions and made sure to make recommendations of where to go for food and drink and activities after the tour. Felt like we knew our way around the Old City after the tour ended.
Heather_L, Jul 2026
Our tour guide is very knowledgeable about the history of all the sites we visited. He was softball in making sure we get to a shaded spot and with places to sit at each stop. It was a very relaxing and informative tour. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a two hour history lesson about old town Quebec.
