Top Quebec City Hop on Hop Off Buses

This tour is an absolute must! I've taken the tour twice before in French, but the English version and the woman playing Marie made it the most enjoyable because of her enthusiasm. She played her part with animation and presented herself perfectly as a representative of her time. Our group seemed to be a bit reserved, maybe because it was pretty chilly, but she stayed so engaged and in character. She was truly wonderful.

Great tour of the history of the Le Chateau Frontenac. The tour guide was dressed as the original architect of the hotel and conducted the tour in character. So interesting and fact filled. It was great to see the areas of the hotel we wouldn’t have seen on our own. Would recommend!

This was the absolute highlight of our trip. Our guide, Luis, was so knowledgeable and personable. The stops on the tour were perfectly chosen, and the food was beyond delicious. Cannot recommend this tour enough. Our first stop was at Va Bene for a delicious fresh tomato salad served on burrata. We then stopped at Archibald for some delicious French onion soup. Then it was on to Le Continental for some fabulous flambéd shrimp. The last stop was at Le Clan, a fabulous restaurant that prides itself on using only Quebec or local ingredients- farm to table concept. We had an arctic char that melted in your mouth followed by a their take on a bread pudding type dessert. Every restaurant paired their dish with wine or beer. All in all, this was an excellent experience. We told the owner of the tour company Emilie that we were celebrating my recent retirement and we definitely felt like VIPs on this tour!
