At your appointed time, meet your vessel at the edge of the St. Lawrence River. Climb aboard the Louis Jolliet, named after the French-Canadian explorer. Choose from a range of seating areas, and admire views from the water's edge.
Set off to admire sights including the historic Fairmont Le Château Frontenac hotel, one of Canada’s most storied hotels.
Next, continue just beyond the city to view Montmorency Falls, a thundering 272-foot (83-meter) waterfall that's even higher than Niagara Falls.
Then, continue to the historical island borough of Île d’Orléans, which offers picturesque countryside scenery.
As you go, learn about the history of Québec City, the St. Lawrence River and the aforementioned points of interest from your costumed guide, dressed as Louis Jolliet himself.
A variety of beverages and snacks are available for purchase on board the boat. At the end of the tour, return to your original departure point and disembark the vessel.

- Live commentaries in French and English. An audio guide is available in Italian, Spanish, German, Mandarin, Japanese and Korean
- Cruises operate rain or shine, unless adverse weather conditions pose a safety risk to passengers. In the event of unfavourable weather, there's an enclosed area on the cruise boat

A relaxing 90 minute cruise. The bilingual cruise guide talked for most of it alternating between French and English. It must be exhausting and she did it well. We passed several distinctive buildings that I wondered about and she didn’t discuss but otherwise we got a good overview of a lovely area.

This was just ok. The ship noise is so loud you can not hear what the guide was saying. The scenery was pretty, but not worth what we paid.

The tourguide narating the tour was very infomative and interesting. He provided much more insight than I was expecting. The boat was well equiped with staff and food & drinks for purchase. It was a wonderful way to experience & learn a bit more about QC by getting out on the water and not spending all day on a tour. Highly recommend!

Nice views of Old Quebec and surrounding countryside. The view of Montmorency Falls was underwhelming because we were far away from it. The tour guide was very good: well-informed and engaging. The drinks, food, and related service were all good. Our tour was not full, so I was able to easily move around the boat for different views and vantage points. The rear of the boat had significant engine vibration and some noise, which were distracting when sitting inside. Overall we’re glad we took this tour. If you are interested in Montmorency Falls, take a land tour so you can hike, ride the gondola, and/or walk the suspension bridge.

The Quebec St. Lawrence River Tour was easy to book. It is a 90 minute tour. The ship is clean and the staff is friendly. The sights are announced and the history of each is described in several languages including French, English and Spanish. The descriptions are very thorough. There are individual chairs and chairs with tables to sit at. A small cafe is located onboard as well. It was a very nice excursion.

Need to get there early, they leave on time. The ride was smooth. Nice view from outside, but it’s cold in October . The guide is knowledgeable and provides interesting history about Quebec. They do have food and drinks on board

We were taken out on a much smaller boat than what was advertised. Wheelchair access was ONLY on small top deck (approx 15’ x 15’) exposed to cold and wind. The tide rose by the time w returned and the ramp used to take us off the boat was about 10 feet off the ground - so steep it took 4 men to inch our way down the ramp. One slight slip and it TRULY would have been tragic for both my wife (in the wheelchair) and myself assisting her. Unbelievable how unsafe this was!!! I would never have expected this from a Canadian port. Miserable trip!

An excellent tour with Luis. Provided really good background on Quebec and included some wonderful restaurants with much better quality of food than we have seen on other food tours. We did this shortly after arrival and the tour provided a good way to find our way around Quebec and highlight areas to visit later.
