At your appointed time, meet your vessel at the edge of the St. Lawrence River. Climb aboard the Louis Jolliet, named after the French-Canadian explorer. Choose from a range of seating areas, and admire views from the water's edge.
Set off to admire sights including the historic Fairmont Le Château Frontenac hotel, one of Canada’s most storied hotels.
Next, continue just beyond the city to view Montmorency Falls, a thundering 272-foot (83-meter) waterfall that's even higher than Niagara Falls.
Then, continue to the historical island borough of Île d’Orléans, which offers picturesque countryside scenery.
As you go, learn about the history of Québec City, the St. Lawrence River and the aforementioned points of interest from your costumed guide, dressed as Louis Jolliet himself.
A variety of beverages and snacks are available for purchase on board the boat. At the end of the tour, return to your original departure point and disembark the vessel.

This was an excellent cruise of the St. Lawrence river. The tour guide was incredibly knowledgable and switched from French to English to Spanish with ease and in a way that flowed so everyone understood and the talk didn't feel disjointed. I would suggest bringing a sweater as it does get a bit cool and windy on the water. Would absolutely do this again!

Great way to see the city line. You can order food and/or drinks from their friendly wait staff. The tour guide was informative and easy to hear. It does get loud however that’s to be expected. Definitely recommend!

The person describing where we were on the river was totally inaudible. Spoke to staff and didn’t really get any better. The view of the waterfall was at a great distance and into the setting sun: not the fault of the tour, but made the trip less interesting /entertaining.

Comfortable boat with plenty of room with food service. Great view of the city and surrounding areas. Guide was interesting, easy to hear and understand, and knew the area and history. My wife thoroughly enjoyed this saying the boat trip was the highlight of her trip.

You really can’t see much of the waterfall east of the city, so you’d be better off taking a tour that gets closer.

There are parts of the boat that are shaded from the sun, and parts that aren't. The indoor part has a bar, with some service for food and drink, but it is confusing to figure out the protocol for ordering. The guide was quite good, and translated well from French to English. Make sure to arrive early so that you can pick up your tickets and get the kind of seat that you want.

This was a nice relaxing boat ride we took mid-day to see some more of Quebec City and Montmorency Falls. It was a nice break from lots of walking. There were many kids, mine included that were bored and dozing heads down on the tables, but the adults all seemed to enjoy it. The guide was great and very clear in both French and English.

Parking in Quebec is a challenge. Our hotel didn’t have available parking, so we had to drive around looking for a place to park. As a result, we missed the boat. It was too late to cancel or change our reservation, so we are out the money and the experience. I couldn’t find a phone number to contact them to see if we could make it on the boat a few minutes later. Totally disappointed

This was a pleasant cruise. Learned about the area. I feel like the tour guide could have explained more about the interesting architectural buildings like the Chateau Frontenac and some of the other ancient buildings in Quebec City that you can see from the boat.
