Best Poutine Ever
Our delightful guide Audrey picked us up at our ship to begin our four hour tour. We told her she could show us anything at she wanted but before the tour ended, we had to taste the best poutine in all of Quebec.
Audrey understood the assignment. We did all of the historical things in the old city (old world streets, old fort, old church, beautiful park, giant waterfall, etc.) and then she drove us a half hour or so to a lovely agrarian paradise named Ile d’Orleans.
She stopped at a shack on the side of the road. There was a long line and nobody spoke a word of English. Audrey hovered but I managed to order for all of us using my broken French and some pointing. Then I kept handing over cash until I was told to stop.
If you don’t know what poutine is, you have been deprived. The fries that formed its base were from potatoes grown on the island. The squeaky cheese curds were also produced right here. The gravy must have been made in heaven.
Following the tour Audrey dropped us at our hotel to continue our adventure.

History Comes Alive with Michel
Michel provided one of the finest historical walking tours I have ever taken. His knowledge of Canadian, American, French, English, and world history is truly exceptional, and he seamlessly connected events across continents to explain how Quebec became such an important place in history.
One of the highlights of the tour was his use of historical images. They were worth a thousand words—especially seeing illustrations of the original 1608 fur trading post and other long-lost structures that would have been impossible to visualize otherwise. Those images transformed the experience from simply hearing history to actually imagining it.
Michel also recommended excellent books for anyone who wants to continue learning after the tour, which I greatly appreciated. Perhaps most memorable was the way he wove his own family's story into the history of Quebec. It gave the tour a personal dimension and reminded us that history is not just about dates and famous figures—it's about the generations of people who lived it.
Whether you're interested in Canadian history, the French and British empires, the American colonies, or world history in general, I cannot recommend Michel highly enough. His passion, depth of knowledge, storytelling ability, and thoughtful use of visual materials made this an unforgettable experience.

Unforgettable Île d’Orléans Experience with Maurice!
We had an incredible private tour of Île d’Orléans with Maurice, and it truly stood out as one of the highlights of our trip to Québec City.
* Guide Quality: Maurice was knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the island’s history, culture, and hidden gems. He made the experience feel personal and engaging, like exploring with a friend rather than a guide.
* Itinerary Highlights: The tour was perfectly tailored to us, featuring beautiful scenic stops, charming local spots, and opportunities to enjoy delicious regional treats along the way.
* Overall Experience: Relaxed, fun, and full of great conversation and laughter. We learned so much while taking in breathtaking views and authentic local culture.
If you’re visiting Québec City, don’t miss the chance to explore Île d’Orléans with Maurice—highly recommended!

A must see tour.
This was a great tour. The falls were beautiful and Ives took a lot of pictures for us. A nice added perk. He did a great job of catering our tour to what we wanted to see. When we went to Orleans, my wife didn’t want to go to a bunch of stores. She wanted to do a winery and go to a chocolate store. Ives took us right to those place. We were able to do a wine tasting and buy specialty chocolates. We only wish we could have booked more time. I know he had more he could have shown us.

Recommend to get to know the city
Lynn did a wonderful job showing us the city! We did this tour on our first day in town and it set us up for the rest of the week by getting an overview of the city so we could see what we wanted to explore further. Lynn did a nice job keeping the kids engaged too!

Wonderful tour!
Judith was an excellent guide! We learned so much about the area and enjoyed it very much. It was me (47) and my 13 year old son. Judith kept him entertained while also giving him space to be a teenager. I loved having a one on one guide, it was much more personal and we were able to ask questions and get recommendations specific to us. Thanks Judith!

A beautiful day with lovely memories…
From the moment we met Isabelle in our hotel lobby we knew it was going to be a memorable day. Isabelle is warm, knowledgeable and kind. She takes the time to listen and makes slight changes to your itinerary that makes for a perfect day.
Her reverence and the quiet details she shared with us as we toured St Anne’s made for a beautiful experience we will not forget.
Our visit to the Montmorency Falls was a lovely ending to our day.
If your vacation plans include Quebec City you owe it to yourself to schedule this private tour. It is a tour planned with “your” wishes in mind. And remember to ask for Isabelle!

Unforgettable Experience!
I highly recommend this immersive, in-depth walking tour of Old Quebec City. Muriel, our tour guide was knowledgeable and engaging, sharing local stories and historical information. Best of all, this amazing experience was due to the kindness and understanding of Èmelié, the tour operator, who accommodated us and our cruise ship’s changing schedule. We owe this unforgettable experience of your lovely city to you, Emelié. Thank you so much!

Awesome walking tour!
Keven our guide was awesome! He gave us a great overview of the city and its history. He also included more detailed history of the city’s people and events throughout the centuries. He answered many and all questions asked by our group. We’ve done many walking tours around the world and this quite possibly has been the most enjoyable!

The Best Private Tour you could ask for
Although I booked this trip without reading that the tour wasn't offered in English, Nanako went above and beyond to accommodate us. She brought her Quebecian friend Helene with her who spoke perfect English and was very knowledgeable as well. Nanako does speak English though pretty well. The entire day was wonderful from start to finish. They were waiting for us in the lobby of the Frontenac and from there we headed to the falls. She was an excellent driver and we went to the falls before the crowds. The admission was included and we paid for the Gondola up as stated in the description. We spent quite a good amount of time there at our own pace. After that we drove around the Island and she asked what our interests were and was willing to take us where we wanted to go. First stop was a vineyard with an incredible view and great tasting wine. She and Helene stayed with us the entire time. We started out as strangers but left with warm hugs from these incredible ladies. And for the price we paid for a private tour it was a great value. I highly recommend this tour!

Great tour in Quebec
Louis our tour operator/Driver was the best!! He was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Very interesting tour. We didn’t have the best weather today in Quebec but he still managed to make it a great tour. We were in the van a lot driving around and it was very comfy for our group of 6. Would recommend this tour to get your bearings on where things are like we did, then went back and walked around old town after.

Post Cruise tour!
Took this tour post cruise to see Quebec city. I needed to call and change your pickup point and there were no issues with that- I was able to change the pick up point from the cruise port to our hotel with no problems. From the very start the tour guide asked us what we wanted to see and what would make her break our time in Quebec city.. he overdelivered on everything! We saw everything we wanted to and everything exceeded our expectations
From the stunning natural sights to the rich cultural heritage, every moment was memorable.
One of the highlights was visiting the breathtaking waterfalls just outside the city. The sound, the mist, and the sheer scale were awe-inspiring—it was the kind of natural beauty you don’t forget. We also spent time exploring a nearby island, which offered peaceful scenery and a perfect spot to relax. And of course, no trip is complete without a treat: the local ice cream was absolutely delicious— hand dipped in dark chocolate! After that, we had to eat lobster rolls and Poutine. This was not included, but something that we wanted to do and our tour guide was more than happy to show us the best spot to eat these local treats!
Old Quebec was like stepping into a different time. The cobblestone streets, historic architecture, and charming shops made it easy to see why this area is a UNESCO World Heritage site. There's a sense of history in every corner, and the atmosphere is both vibrant and welcoming.
What made this tour even more special was our guide. He was not only knowledgeable and engaging but also incredibly respectful. Our family includes members with mobility issues, and the guide went out of his way to ensure everyone felt included and comfortable. That level of consideration meant a lot to us and added a deeper layer of appreciation for the entire experience.
All in all, this tour offered the perfect balance of nature, history, and local flavor. I can't recommend this experience highly enough
