This is a busy excursion that is beautiful and entertaining! Enjoyed and would recommend very much! Bring snacks and a towel or a change of clothes if you don’t want to stay wet. Our guide, Danny, took great care of us. The bus driver, Richard, was a safe and responsible driver. Bring cash for souvenirs and pictures or tips- all optional. Try the empanadas at the first shop stop and use the bathroom.

The excursion in itself wasn't bad, we spent a bit more time on the boat than I planned but it was a beautiful day. The food was also decent.
Our tour guide Miguel is the one that made me rate the excursion so low. Miguel was rude, dismissive and at one point told my friend he didn't have time to explain to here where the bathrooms are.
I booked 2 other excursions on my trip to DR and I have nothing but kind things to say about those tour guides . I would simply not recommend this excursion if Miguel will be the tour guide.

It’s a beautiful place and worth seeing. The tour guides can be unpredictable and disrespectful at times by not listening to the passengers’ concerns and not answering questions in a professional way. It was overcrowded and at times unsafe. The beach area is full of rocks so don’t forget your water shoes

I wouldn't recommend this to anyone- pay cash when you get there for any excursions. I was charged twice on my credit card for this. The wait times to coordinate transportation was horrible- wasting time doing that. When we did get to the island they were taking pictures and charging ridiculous amounts. We paid for WiFi on the island and its didn't work- $5. Then on the way back to get dropped back off the drivers were arguing in front of us about not wanting to take us back because it was out of his route and he had plans that evening. I wouldn't recommend this company or the guides- very unprofessional

#1 ..In the place where you where staying at , nobody was going to pick you up there and I went there by myself and brought you to the meeting point to avoid you to pay for a taxi to bring you there .
#2.. the ingernet is not included in the island , If you read all the information … it doesn’t say that the ingernet is included . You know perfectly what is included and what is not , because it is written clearly here
#3..any extra charge that you have…you have to discuss it with Viator , because the one you are talking about when you sent me the screenshot today … the dates dont match and not even the amounts and the products codes . As a company we don’t charge anyone, the people pay Viator/tripadvisor and they pay us , but you as a customer selected your products and you should know what you booked on the 15th , because the Saona was booked on the 18th , you sent me the screenshot and you should know what you booked besides the Saona Island
#4..pictures are not included and that is not our business, the photographers are allowed to be on the boats and it is up to you to buy any picture or not .
#5..about the driver … we had spoke with him just the same day when you were brought back to the área , he brought you and the other person that I told you was going to bring you back to your Airbnb…. By the way… that was at the end of the world .
I thank you for your information , because we know now that when people have to get to the meeting point … we will just let them pay their own taxi .

We were picked up at our hotel and went to the speedboat to go to the natural pool first. Mama Lina was our tourguide and even though she mostly spoke Spanish, if you asked her what she said she would explain it in English. We arrived as one of the first boats at the natural pool and here we took pics and swam a bit. There were also photographers in our group who took super nice pics. We stayed there for 30 minutes. After that we went to Saona island. Overall it was a pretty beach, but it was way too crowded to be able to enjoy. There were so many people and boats everywhere. The lunch that was included was not great, but we were happy that we got food :) I think we stayed there around 2 hours in total and the time flew really by. On the way back we had a catamaran which was kinda a party boat. It was a nice experience and I am happy that it was organized so well with the pick up/off at the hotel!

Julio sets you up with a very communicative pick up time and picture of the van that is getting you from your resort. Communication with the driver specifically was tough and you are transferred to a bigger Buss. You really just have to rely that you are being taken care of under the manager of the excursion. It felt unorganized at times but once we got on the bus to go to the boat to the island, everything was smooth and they described more on what to expect. Lunch was provided on the island. Would definitely recommend that they bring more water on the boat as it’s very hot and it is a long ride back. The island was beautiful and definitely would recommend.

Good morning ,you went to the meeting point by your self at 8:04 am and you left the meeting point at 8:30 am and got to Bayahibe at 10:00 am . Whoever you book it with … that Is the distance , the rest was riding on the speed boat and you did the stop on the natural swimming pool and got to the island , if you spent one hour at the beach … it means that you cane back to punta cana at lest at 5:00 pm , but the rest of the group came by 6:30 pm , when you are in the island the time pasts fast .
We have texted sone of our customers asking got it . In this platform there is no way to send you the screenshots about the other people , but …

The tour guide picks you up at 7:15am and it was a lot of waiting on a bus, waiting on more people, and then waiting again. We didn’t get on the “speed boat” until 11am. We stopped to be in the water for 30 minutes then went to the island and only got 2 hours there. Super touristy, food was not good, so many people. It was an hour and a half boat ride back. Then waited around for a bus, we paid for a taxi to get back or it would have been turning a 1 hour car ride to a 3 hour bus ride.

good afternoon. the departure time from the meeting point is at 8:30 am ,your hotel is far from that place and we have to collect other people . some times people are late and it makes us wait longer for them .even if you go straight to the meeting point ... we have to wait for the rest of the people ,we have customers from different areas . in Bayahibe the Marine let the people depart after 10:15 am ,but not all the boats leave at the same time to avoid a situation. remember that we have to travel from Bavaro to the Caribbean side .

Great experience! The staff were very responsive and quick to answer our questions. Drinks like Coke, rum, and water were included on the boat, and basic food was provided on the island. Everything was well organized and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend!

We were completely lied to! We were told we would be back at our hotel at 6 and we ended up getting back at 8:30 and missed our dinner reservations!!! The food they give you is horrible and all the offer for drinks is rum and coke ! No variety. We kept asking when the catamaran would be back to pick us up and at first it was 2:30 then 4 then 5pm! We left at 5:30 with a group of people on a catamaran that had over 100 people . We had to sit on the floor . Horrible experience. Would not recommend !!!

Good afternoon. If you read our description says very clearly , Rum, soda and water . They gave you more times at the beach , because there were a lot of people running away from the seaweed at the hotels . It has never happened before and as you can see… we did something that we are not used to do … giving you a private transportation without any extra charge thinking that you were going to be at the hotel by 6:00 pm . If you read all our reviews , you can realize that everyone gets to the hotels on time . It happened this time and also we will make sure that our customers get the 2 1/2 hours at the beach AA it is written here and not 5 1/2 hours as you had this time . A lot of people anre andking for extra time and you had it by mistake and this is your reaction , we understand you , but we didn’t know that you had a dinner reservation, you were asking at what time you were coming back apparently, but we had no knowledge of your reservation. again ….
