We had a great time on our buggy adventure. Our guide Richard was very friendly and provided excellent service. I accidentally lost my phone on the ride and the photographer found it for me! Not sure how he was able to find it but I am so grateful he did! I highly recommend this tour! You WILL get dirty so plan accordingly.

Everything was perfect! I had such a blast. What I loved most was the timing we never felt rushed, and everything moved at the perfect pace. I truly enjoyed every moment!

    Good times

Awesome time! Only 2 negatives. Advertised as transportation in A/C. Some did get a/c but we in back of open air truck. Not wnd of world, but after adventure driver left 6 of us, we waited 30 minutes for him to turn around and come back and get us. How do u arrive with full truck and leave half full.....but I think this is one of better excursions...

    Response from Host, Jul 2026

Thank you so much! We are thrilled to hear you had an awesome time and consider ours to be one of the better excursions.Regarding your transport, we would like to clarify that our open-air safari trucks are a secure part of the authentic rural experience and are featured in our official photos. Regarding the 30-minute wait at the end, it was not an oversight; our driver arrived on time, but since your group was not at the designated meeting point, he had to continue his route to drop off other guests before safely returning to pick you up.We truly appreciate your review and look forward to welcoming you back for another great buggy ride!

    Worst experience

    crisann_s, Jul 2026
We had the worst experience with the pick up guy he literally drove thru a marl road to go to the place because police was on the road our hair and clothes was covered in marl before we even read the park then the manager didn’t even care worst experience for the 5 of us

    Response from Host, Jul 2026

Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify the situation regarding your transportation to the ranch. Our drivers strictly stick to official, authorized routes to ensure the safety of all our passengers. The roads leading into the Dominican countryside and toward our buggy trails are naturally unpaved, dusty, and rustic, which is a standard part of the rural adventure experience. Our management team always handles guest comments with care, and we apologize if you felt your concerns were not addressed properly. We hope you still found the actual buggy excursion enjoyable.

Never again, not the true Dominican experience

    Tyra_M, Jul 2026
Terrible experience. The people were not nice and seemed like they didn’t want to do their job. They were rude and dismissive. They also didn’t seem to care about our safety because no one came to tell us how to put our seatbelts on or how to work the vehicle.

    Response from Host, Jul 2026

Thank you for your review, but we must call out the complete falsehoods in your statement. It is highly disappointing that you are inventing a safety issue and attacking our staff's attitude simply because we did not grant you a last-minute refund for the 4 people in your group who failed to show up.Our team strictly implements safety protocols; every single guest is personally checked for seatbelts and fully instructed on how to operate the buggy before the engines even start. We politely and clearly explained our strict cancellation policy to you days ago. Trying to damage our business reputation with fake safety complaints because you lost your money due to your own party's no-shows is completely unacceptable. We stand by our team, our safety records, and our booking policies.

    The trip promised hoti...

    Kamran_Y, Jul 2026
The trip promised hoti azul admission but the tour never took us there but to a man made cave instead which was not comparable

    Response from Host, Jul 2026

Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify that our buggy tour visits a 100% natural geological cave and cenote, which features authentic crystal-clear fresh water and real rock formations; it is absolutely not man-made.Additionally, please check your booking details, as our excursion has never offered or promised admission to Hoyo Azul. We are sorry for any confusion regarding the location and hope you still enjoyed the buggy ride.

Lots of fun! You’ll get dirty. Wear sneakers. Good family event. Rode in the buggy. Seeing the back roads was interesting.

    Response from Host, Jul 2026

Thank you so much! We are thrilled to hear your family had lots of fun riding our buggies. Your tips are perfect: getting dirty is part of the adventure, and wearing sneakers is definitely the way to go! We are glad you found the back roads interesting, and we hope to welcome you all back soon!

    Victor was wonderful

    C_D, Jul 2026
Victor was so amazing im slightly disabled and he helped me stand sit walk everything that young man was amazing and patient. Please book them you will have fun!!!!!

    Response from Host, Jul 2026

Thank you so much! We are incredibly proud to hear how Victor took such great and patient care of you throughout the tour. We will definitely share your kind words with him. We are thrilled you had fun, and we look forward to welcoming you back on the buggies!

    It was “ok”

    Kana_B, Jul 2026
Bus picks up in time. However when you make it to sign waiver you have to wait on other busses from other resorts to arrive, hot. While your there of course they try to get you to buy something(this was my issue with entire trip) finally tour guides arrive. They explain no zig zagging stay in one straight line.cool… make it to first stop which is 2 in one basically, you do a quick tutorial and learn a little about chocolate and Mamajuana take a small shot. The cave is there as well which is a man made cave( I thought it would be different). each event was about 30 minutes each. Next you get back on the buggies/atv ride to the beach. This is where my issue came in. The beach is packed, they had an issue finding us a spot to sit he ended up seating us at someone else chairs and we didn’t realize until they got out the water. Food and drink are not free. A guy walked up to us and put a lizard on our shoulder took pictures with our phone then charged us for it so be aware. It’s just way too much trying to sell us things instead of enjoying the beach. That visit was about 25 minutes. Mud riding was fun to and from. Pros: riding was run, learning and cave was ok, just thought cave was actual cave, beach was fun just be careful about the animals they put on you then want to charge for a pic. Cons: The 45 min wait before the excursion starts, Food not included, being hassled by locals to buy something at beach.

    Response from Host, Jul 2026

Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clearly state that our company only sells the guided buggy tour experience. We do not sell any merchandise, food, drinks, or photos. Any purchases made during the tour from local shops or beach vendors are entirely optional and independent of our business; every guest is completely free to buy or decline what they choose.

    Great experience

    Shantell_D, Jul 2026
If you’re visiting Punta Cana, I highly recommend the buggy excursion! Riding through the rugged trails was such an exciting adventure, and getting muddy just made it even more fun. The highlight of the trip was stopping at a beautiful underground cave with crystal-clear water. Swimming in the cool, refreshing cave was an unforgettable experience. We also enjoyed tasting locally made coffee, cocoa, and cigars, which gave us a chance to experience the local culture. The guides were friendly, organized, and made sure everyone had a great time. This excursion was the perfect mix of adventure, sightseeing, and authentic Dominican experiences. I would definitely do it again!

    Response from Host, Jul 2026

Thank you so much for this wonderful recommendation! We are thrilled that our buggy excursion was the perfect mix of adventure and authentic Dominican culture for you. It is great to hear you loved getting muddy on the trails, swimming in our crystal-clear underground cave, and enjoying the local tastings. Our team works hard to keep things organized and fun, and your feedback means a lot to us. We cannot wait to welcome you back for another unforgettable ride next time you visit Punta Cana!

    Sad start, good finish

    Danny_S, Jul 2026
The actual buggy ride was pretty awesome. But the communication and pickup time was horrible. Shuttle never came by, had to call multiple people to finally get picked up and hour after scheduled time.

    Response from Host, Jul 2026

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad you found the buggy ride awesome! However, we would like to clarify the situation with your pickup. Our driver arrived precisely at the scheduled time, but since you were not at the meeting point, they had to continue the route to avoid delaying the rest of the group. Despite this, our team quickly coordinated and sent an alternative transport to pick you up so you wouldn't miss the tour. We appreciate your patience and are glad you enjoyed the excursion!

    Great tour.. loved it

    ATV Excursion

    Crystal_A, Jun 2026
On the whole the experience was okay but we did not get the Family Buggy for 3 that I booked and requested. The roads were bumpy as expected for an ATV excursion but I feel helmets should be offered. A kind gesture would have been to offer a bottle of water afterwards.

    Response from Host, Jun 2026

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad you had an okay experience, but we would like to clarify our safety and vehicle policies.Helmets are strictly mandatory for ATVs, whereas for buggies they are optional and provided instantly upon request. Regarding your vehicle, had you informed our staff on-site about the mix-up with the 3-passenger family buggy, we would have resolved it immediately. We appreciate your comments and hope to give you a seamless experience in the future.

    Zero stars…do not recommend

    Erica_G, Jun 2026
Very disappointed. We have done atv trips in other countries and had a blast. Our tour guide was extremely rude from the beginning. He yelled at myself and my family the entire trip. There were no instructions or helmets. They packed too many people on the trip. Not to mention it took almost an hour before we even got on the atvs. We were rushed in the cave and at the beach. The beach was beautiful and would have loved to spend more time there. We are experienced travelers and know the difference with what to expect. I would NOT RECOMMEND.

    Response from Host, Jun 2026

It is sad to see you posting multiple reviews under your same name just to spill hate because we did not let you break our safety rules. Since you decided to open a second thread with more lies, let’s be absolutely clear. Our guide did not "yell" at you from the beginning. He firmly corrected you because you completely ignored the safety instructions and insisted on driving recklessly, doing dangerous zig-zags around potholes. It is highly irresponsible that you chose to drive that way, putting your own family and children in serious danger just for an adrenaline rush.Furthermore, our team showed great patience trying to save your vacation by waiting for you well past your scheduled pick-up time, despite you completely ignoring all our attempts to contact you via WhatsApp, iMessage, and Viator. We will never apologize for stopping reckless behavior to protect our group, especially when minors are involved. Please stop spamming our page with duplicate reviews just because your dangerous rule-breaking was not tolerated here.

    Do not recommend…read before booking

    Erica_G, Jun 2026
If you have never used an atv then this experience may be for you, but for those of you who are experienced atv riders stay away from this service. The machines were crap almost falling apart. The group leader constantly stopped which takes away from the fun. We stopped nearly every 2 minutes. We were berated and belittled by the group leader for “zig zagging” but we were trying to avoid the massive amounts of potholes. There are 3 different stops for about 20 Minutes each and they talk about different things. The cave was way overcrowded and people were allowed to hang out on the ropes that help you exit which in my opinion is dangerous. They do not provide life jackets. You have to rent them for $2 for like 5 Minutes max. The “group” was more like a crowd. I think our group had over 100 people in it. The best part was the beach. If you want to do an excursion I recommend just doing a day at Macao beach. It was the only redeeming thing about this experience and it was only 20 minutes. Also no helmets are provided but rest assured you won’t be going fast enough to warrant needing one.

    Response from Host, Jun 2026

Thank you for your feedback. We need to be very clear: our tour is a scenic family adventure, not a racetrack for reckless driving. Our guides strictly enforce safety rules for a reason. You were not "berating"; you were firmly corrected because reckless zig-zagging is completely prohibited on our tours. Doing stunts on public trails with potholes puts your own life and the safety of the entire group at risk. We will never apologize for prioritizing safety over someone's desire to drive dangerously.Regarding your other complaints: our machines are fully functional for this rugged terrain, and the cenote swim is entirely optional. If you do not want to rent a life jacket for $2, the safety ropes are there to assist you for free.We are glad you at least enjoyed the beautiful Macao Beach. For your next vacation, we highly recommend booking a private closed-circuit racetrack where you can drive however you like without risking the safety of other tourists.

    It was ok

    Jessica_B, Jun 2026
It can be very dirty, and our stops were rushed. We've done another company and it was great. These were just ok

    Response from Host, Jun 2026

Thank you for your feedback. Buggy tours in Punta Cana are famous for being muddy and dirty, which is usually the most exciting part of the adventure! We are sorry to hear you felt the stops were rushed, as we try to maintain a steady schedule so all groups can complete the full route safely. We appreciate your comments and will work on our timing to improve the experience. We wish you the best!

    You will definitely get...

    Jillian_P, Jun 2026
You will definitely get muddy! So fun! Felt a little rushed at the cave and while waiting for others was harassed to buy things from locals. The stop at the beach was perfect!

    Response from Host, Jun 2026

Thank you for your review! Getting muddy is definitely the best part of the adventure! We appreciate your feedback about the cave and the local beach vendors, as we always want our guests to feel comfortable. We are so glad you loved the beach stop and had a fun time!

    Super punctual pickup...

    louiseconnolly86, May 2026
Super punctual pickup from the company. Had lots of fun riding the dune buggy. Guides were super professional and kept us very safe! Not the company’s fault, but beware of people selling on the beach. We paid over $40 for 3 soft drinks and one seller tried to charge double via ApplePay after confirming a price.

    Response from Host, May 2026

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the dune buggy ride, and that our team's punctuality and safety standards met your expectations. We also truly appreciate you mentioning the situation on the beach. We want to explicitly clarify to all future travelers that our company does not sell any products, drinks, or photos during the tour, and we have absolutely no affiliation with the local vendors at the beach stops. As a rule, we always advise our guests to remain alert and cautious with external sellers to avoid these types of pricing misunderstandings. Thank you for raising awareness about this!We hope to welcome you back for another adventure soon.

Terrible customer service/ Extra fees/ Take your money and run with it

    Alijah_R, May 2026
I booked an excursion with this company for atv on Thursday at 5/20 and we didn't realize there was an age requirement as it's hidden in the description we contacted this company the day prior customer service to ask if there's other possible alternative to continue this tour or atleast get a refund or even half of it back since we can't attend this service due to the restriction which this company was rude and disrespectful blaming it on us, and not trying to understand our point of view, and then they ask us to contact Viator so we did which they have a 24 free. cancellation policy which they were helpful so they explain to us the only way we can be able to get a full refund is if the company can agree to giving us the refund they contacted this company to come to agreement but they decline it they are stealing our money and taking it for granted for something they denied us to attend we lost 200 dollars for this company horrible customer service and the guy ( the boss) that we spoke to was extremely rude not letting us speak. To all the tourist please don't get involved with this company they steal your money I won't recommend this to anyone, be careful. We where also told by other workers and customers that they are known for This kind of activity. We were also told that they have many hidden fees so be very very careful.

    Response from Host, May 2026

Dear customer,We must completely reject your false accusations. It is highly irresponsible to leave a malicious review months after an event, twisting the facts to damage a company’s reputation just because you did not read the clear safety rules before booking. The absolute truth of what happened is this: You showed up to an extreme ATV adventure tour with a baby (infant). For obvious, non-negotiable safety and legal reasons, an infant cannot ride on an ATV. We put the life and well-being of a child above any amount of money. When we explained this restriction to you, our team immediately coordinated transportation to take you and your baby safely back to your hotel without any arguments or conflict. Our chat history on this platform proves that you left without making a single complaint at that moment. There are no "hidden fees" or "thefts." There is only a company enforcing strict safety policies that are clearly stated on Viator before anyone buys. We stand firmly by our decision to protect a minor, and we will always prioritize safety over a forced refund due to a customer's oversight. We wish you the best, and we highly encourage you to read the safety guidelines of the activities you book in the future for the sake of your own family.

    Worth the cost

    Eric_R, Apr 2026
Great experience. Our guide was great. Enjoy the scenery. The cave and beach were great photo opportunities.

    Response from Host, Apr 2026

Thanks for the feedback! We’re happy you enjoyed the scenery and the photos. Our guides work hard to make it a great trip. See you next time!

    Bucket List Activity

    Jody_W, Apr 2026
We were the first ones to ride their new ATV. We warned them that we like to get muddy so their machine might be getting muddy too! No problem! Riding the horses in the water was a first and definitely worth it! Are the guys took really good care of us. Only complaints would be the girls at the counter where a little room.

    Response from Host, Apr 2026

Thank you so much for your great review! We are thrilled that you were the first to enjoy our brand-new ATVs—and please, don't worry about the mud, that is exactly what they are made for! It is also wonderful to hear that horseback riding in the water was a highlight for you; it is definitely one of our most special activities. We will gladly share your kind words with the guides who looked after you. Regarding your feedback about the staff at the counter, we appreciate your honesty. We will work with our team to ensure our customer service is top notch from the moment you arrive until the end of the tour.We look forward to welcoming you back for another muddy adventure!

The tour did not go to the Beach or the Cave...a fun muddy ride and NO WATER at ALL to wash up. Back to hotel all DRTY

    Gaston_M, Apr 2026
The buggy Tour was a fun muddy ride ...BUT it did not take us to Macao Beach or the Water Cave which for us was the the part we were looking forward the most !!! ...it was just a buggy ride that started 1.5 hour late ...and back to the buggy ranch there was NO WATER at All to wash up ...had to go back in the bus fully encased in mud ;) :(

    Response from Host, Apr 2026

While we are glad you had a "fun muddy ride," we must clarify the facts regarding your tour on April 3rd.As it was Easter Week, local authorities unexpectedly closed access to beaches and public caves for safety reasons—a force majeure situation beyond our control. You were explicitly informed of these closures before the tour started. We gave you the option to cancel for a full refund, but you voluntarily chose to proceed with the modified itinerary.Regarding the delay and the water, we were operating at maximum capacity to ensure everyone could still enjoy their vacation despite the government restrictions. It is unfair to accept the tour under these conditions, enjoy the ride, and then leave a negative review for circumstances you were warned about and agreed to.

    Excellent communication...

    ANCA_P, Apr 2026
Excellent communication from start to finish! They reached out the night before with clear pickup details, including what the vehicle would look like, so there was zero guesswork. Since it was Easter weekend, the tour had to be slightly adjusted and we couldn’t go to the beach—but it was still an absolute blast! This was my second time doing a buggy ride, and I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

    Response from Host, Apr 2026

Thank you so much for your kind words! We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and for highlighting our communication. As you mentioned, Easter weekend brings unexpected changes due to local regulations, and we are so glad that our transparency allowed you to enjoy the tour despite the modified route. It was a pleasure having you with us for the second time, and we are thrilled to know you had such a blast! We look forward to welcoming you back for a third ride whenever you visit us again.

    Not Satisfied!!!

    Krasimira_H, Apr 2026
The reason I m giving 1 star is because ,the tour operator didnt complete the trip advertised. Because of Easter we didnt go to the cave or beach.I understand there is rules but if they did informed us we could of changed the date not wasting our money.Viator didnt help us and has sent me an email that they can't do a refund ,because the tour operator declined, and have sent me their refund policy. So in the end we went driving buggy for about 1hr hundred of us ,stopped at a fake cave and mainly vendors pushing to sell and asking for tips .Everything is tips tips tips in there ,even to take a picture of you .So no definitely I can't recommend this trip and Viator too.!!!!!

    Response from Host, Apr 2026

We do not agree with your review as it misrepresents the facts. During Holy Week, local authorities unexpectedly closed access to certain beaches and caves due to safety regulations—a force majeure situation beyond our control. We were the only ranch operating to ensure our clients still had an activity. Most importantly: you were informed of these changes before the tour started and were given the option to cancel for a full refund. You voluntarily chose to proceed with the tour instead of returning to your hotel. It is unfair to complete the entire service and then request a refund through Viator once the tour is over. A refund was denied because the service was fully rendered and accepted by you at the start.

    Horrible all the way...

    Heather_H, Apr 2026
Horrible all the way around. Rude staff. No organization. Due to our event falling on Good Friday, we found out once we arrived that we would not be doing all of the events we had been promised. We were still charged the full price. They knew in advance that we would not be able to do all events. Upon arrival there were only 2 people checking in over 50 people in a small area. Lady got frustrated and started yelling at people. They start the trip off with what is supposed to be to be an intro into Dominican life and instead it was a sales pitch. Kept saying you don’t have to buy, yet they followed you around with a basket for you to put things in. Then you are corralled back into a little area and assigned atvs. However, there is no organizing this part. They are yelling your name, but you can’t hear them clearly because side it’s so loud. As we start, 3 atvs broke down so we were stopped for 5 minutes. After that it was stop and go. Instead of going to the beach and water caves, we just drove through smelly mud water, made a U-Turn and came back. We were yelled at numerous times for trying to catch up when crossing a main road that had traffic stopped for us. They would speed by us and swerve in front of us on their own atvs. Overall, a horrible experience and not worth what they charged. Maybe would have been different if we went on the agreed upon trip, but don’t think so.

    Response from Host, Apr 2026

We strongly disagree with this review, as it misrepresents what actually happened. Your tour took place on Good Friday, a national holiday when most attractions, including the beach and caves, were closed by government restrictions. This situation was clearly explained upon arrival, and you were given the option to cancel and receive a full refund. You chose to continue the tour. It is not accurate to claim that we “knew in advance” and hid this information. These closures are enforced externally and can change without prior notice. Despite this, we operated when most others did not. Regarding organization and staff: managing a high-volume day like Good Friday is challenging, but our team worked to move everyone as efficiently as possible. Describing staff as “rude” or “yelling” is an exaggeration of normal crowd control in a busy environment. ATVs breaking down occasionally and brief stops are normal in off-road excursions. Safety instructions and traffic coordination may feel strict, but they are necessary to protect all participants. You completed the tour, used the equipment, and participated in the experience available that day. Leaving a review suggesting deception after choosing to proceed is not a fair or accurate representation of the service provided. We stand by our operation and the effort made under exceptional circumstances.

    Great time

We had so much fun ! The guides were great! My family enjoyed their time. Definitely will recommend!

    Response from Host, Apr 2026

Thank you so much! We are thrilled to hear that you and your family had such a great time with our guides. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we truly appreciate your recommendation. We hope to see you all again for another adventure soon!

    Nice tour

    Danalyn_S, Mar 2026
As long as you avoid buying any souvenirs or goods at the “authentic Dominican home” (first stop on the tour), it’s a good tour & worth the money.

    Response from Host, Mar 2026

Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad you found the tour worth the money and had a good time on the trails. Regarding the cultural stop, we only include it so our guests can see a bit of Dominican tradition, but we are not part of any sales there—our focus is entirely on the adventure and the ride. We appreciate your honesty and are happy that the rest of the experience lived up to your expectations. Hope to see you again for more fun!"

    Our group had a great...

    Laura_J, Mar 2026
Our group had a great time and the staff was good. Took awhile to get everyone checked in and actually on the buggys. Could have skipped the coffee and chocolate demonstration. The estimated time of 3-4 hours was without transportation to/from our resort so overall it was a long day. Good value for the price.

Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad your group had a great time and enjoyed the service from our staff. Regarding the timing, we’d like to clarify that the 3-4 hours refers to the tour experience itself; however, since we provide complimentary round-trip transportation for all our guests from various resorts, the total door-to-door time can be longer depending on the pickup route. We appreciate your patience during the check-in and the cultural stop, as we strive to share a bit of our Dominican roots with everyone. We’re happy you found it to be a good value and hope to see you again for more adventure!"

    Fun and affordable

This was a super fun (and affordable!) activity. The cenote and beach were spectacular. The coffee and info on Dominican culture/food/agriculture was very interesting but it was way too long (the only reason this is 4 stars and not 5). The staff were super fun and the photos came out great too. I definitely recommend booking the 2:30pm trip so the sun dies down. And being at the beach at dusk was awesome too

Thank you for your review and for the 4 stars! We're so glad you found the excursion fun and the cenote and beach spectacular. We appreciate your honest feedback regarding the cultural presentation. We love sharing our Dominican roots, but we'll definitely look into the timing to make sure it flows better with the adrenaline of the ride. Your tip about booking the 2:30 pm trip to catch the sunset at the beach is fantastic—we agree that dusk at the shore is pure magic! We hope to see you again for another adventure

    Poorly organised

    Michael_C, Mar 2026
Took a very long time to get everyone signed in, then rather than get on the ATV they did a talk on coffee beans where nobody could hear because the ATVs outside were so loud. After two hours of being there and not being on an ATV we left.

    Response from Host, Mar 2026

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you finally got to enjoy the ATVs, as the ride is definitely the highlight! We understand that everyone is eager to start, but as a professional tour, the safety briefing and the cultural introduction to our local coffee and cocoa are essential parts of the full experience. These moments allow our guests to fuel up and learn about our roots before hitting the mud. While it may take a few minutes to get everyone ready, it’s all to ensure a safe and organized adventure for the whole group. We appreciate your patience and are happy you got to experience the adrenaline of the route!"
