Authentic Dominican Experience
My Dominican cultural tour was amazing — very informative and truly immersive. The experience made me feel like I was a Dominican living there, not just a tourist visiting. If you want an authentic experience, this tour is definitely worth it. They pick you up directly from your hotel and communicate very well through WhatsApp, which made everything smooth and easy. It was worth every penny — honestly one of the best tours I’ve ever been on. Huge shoutout to our driver, Sandy, and our tour guide, Robinson, for doing such a great job and making the day memorable. One thing to keep in mind: the tour lasts about 8 hours total. Around 5 hours are dedicated to activities, while the remaining time includes driving and picking up other guests, about 90 minutes each way.

Came in with with my best...
Came in with with my best friends and had a great time! Our tour guide name is Happy and he was the best! He was very accommodating and he watched out for us and made sure we are ok. He never rushed us. Highly recommend! The beach he took us was so beautiful!!

A great view of DR culture!
This was a lovely day on our vacation and allowed us a view into the culture of the DR that you miss when staying only at the hotel/resort. I would definitely recommend! It is a fairly long drive, around 3 hours from Punta Cana. There is information provided by the tour guide along the way which was engaging and interesting. Once you get to the colonial city, the tour is a walking tour. The pace of the tour is great, but be sure to keep up when given a time limit. I lost track of time and was almost left behind in the Cathedral. A buffet lunch is provided at a local restaurant and it was really great! The beef was phenomenal, as well as the dessert "coconut candy." I'll be honest that we were a little hesitant about it by look, but it tasted so good! The souvenir market we stopped at in the colonial city had so many options of locally made goods. Bring cash (USD or pesos are both accepted) for a significant discount on your purchase, as well as to tip your tour guide and driver! On the way back to Punta Cana we stopped at a small chocolate factory which had a very short demonstration of chocolate making and products, and time to explore their gift shop for chocolate, bath and body products, and souvenirs (I included a photo of some of the hand-painted dolls they had here - absolutely gorgeous!)

Montana Redonda
Darwin was our private driver and he was very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the morning of our visit it was a downpour and much of the experience. Good weather is important to experience. The views we still made the best of it. I would not visit the local beach, but Montana Redonda is worth a visit.
