Francisco was AMAZING!!! If I could give him 10 stars I would. He picked us up in a nice, clean, COLD van. He gave us the best tour! He was so knowledgeable. We learned so much about the city and culture.

This was a really fun tour! We were picked up on time in a very clean van. The places we stopped were fun and gave us a good taste of the DR. We stopped at a souvenir shop, cigar-making factory, traditional house where coffee/chocolate are made, a beach, and the basilica. The tour guide (Will, I believe) was really knowledgeable and talked the perfect amount. It did not feel like a tourist trap at any stop, though there were plenty of spots to buy stuff if you wanted to.

We had a lovely day with Pablo, who shared so much about his country in a few short hours. He was comfortable driving through the motor bike filled streets of Higuay market and even stopped to buy sugar cane and showed how to eat it. It was a day well spent.

I really enjoyed the plantation, seeing the Dominican home, Maceo Beach was beautiful except for being charged $32.00 for a Piña colada and a margarita. Rip off.. Pablo was amazing, a wealth of knowledge, friendly and thank goodness he was driving!

Our tour guide was friendly and helpful. Other than the visit to the cathedral, the tour was a repeat of things seen and experienced on other tours. Would like to have learned some trivia about Punta Cana and surrounding areas.

Pablo.....we love learning about the culture of the community we visit. Pablo gaves us not only a sense of the DR, but tried to ensure we understood the essence of the country and its people. HE WAS AMAZING!

We had a great time with Edwin, he was so nice from the start and let us decide if we wanted to go to each stop and how long we wanted to spend there. He spoke English very well, which was helpful to us. This tour allowed us to buy some souvenirs, visit a coffee and cacao plantation, see the smaller villages in more of a country setting and a bigger city where the citadel was located. A nice tour without any time stress on timing.

This excursion was well worth the money! Our guide Edwin Perez was amazing! He explained everything to us in detail. He stopped places that weren’t on the itinerary because we wanted to stop there. We had some trouble with the van he was driving and again, he took care of it. He was amazing. If you have the opportunity you really need to book this excursion.

This was one of the best tours we've ever been on! We went to 5 different locations throughout the tour and received such a well rounded cultural background of the Dominican. We were picked up at our resort in a private car by Edwin, who was a great young man. He drove us to a farm where we toured the property and purchased a variety of home grown items. We then went to a tobacco factory and even rolled our own cigars! He then took us to the large city of Higuey. With few traffic laws we were so relieved he was driving and not us. In Higuey Edwin handed us off to Tito. He was a delightful local guy who showed us the cathedral and walked us around part of the downtown area. We had a meal at a nice bar/restaurant and then traveled back to Punta Cana with Edwin. What we thought was going to be a four hour tour took more like six hours. But Edwin was in no hurry to end our tour and neither were we. Most interesting and fun tour!

Great tour, very personal with a one on one feeling, tour guide is very knowledgeable and his English is really good too. The driver is excellent also. The tour covered alot of things that goes on in Punta Cana.
