Very informative. Stephen knew so much about the history, before and after reconstruction. Many places were free to visit but some interiors were with a fee. You will have to plan to extend your trip if you are going inside. Bastei Bridge and surrounding park lands were amazing. Worth the effort but there is effort to get to to the views.

Very well organised day trip. We were picked up from our accommodation in Prague by our guide Filip and we drove to Bastei Park. Throughout the drive Filip gave us a good explanation of the area and continued to do so throughout the entire day. He guided us throughout the park visit. Then we made our way to Dresden where we were given a tour of the city and had some time to explore on our own as well. It was on the whole a very good day trip

I would say a must visit as you can take a taste of another country. Spectacular sightseeings, comfortable transport, great tour guide (Stephan), plenty of free time, new historical information compose some of the interesting parts of the day trip to Dresden.

There are lots of steps at bastei bridge but the views are totally worth it, and also take Euros coz you’re travelling to Germany.
Absolutely fabulous trip - could not recommend it highly enough.
Guide Stepan fantastic - so knowledgeable. Put us all totally at ease and nothing was too much trouble. Also made the day fun.A definite asset to Viator.

A fantastic day. You get to see the Beautiful countryside outside of Prague and then in Germany. First visit to the Bastei Bridge. Spectacular/breathtaking views. This is a national park that is grand and incredible in size.Second stop to Dresden. Dresden is a stunning city with amazing architecture, spacious and peaceful. Everywhere you look there is something to wonder at. Our host Nicolei was knowledgeable friendly, funny and good company. I would honestly give this trip 10/10.

The journey is fantastic, with absolutely stunning views. Our tour guide, Stepan was a funny and engaging guy with great historical knowledge—he kept the tour interesting throughout. He also shared plenty of helpful local travel tips with us, which was a nice bonus.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing day trip to Dresden and Saxony. Filip was fantastic. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the history and shared everything in a way that was engaging and easy to understand. Visiting the Bastei Bridge in Germany was an unforgettable experience. It’s one of those rare places that feels almost unreal—the kind of landscape that stops you in your tracks. The bridge itself is not only visually stunning but also an incredible piece of history carved into the natural rock formations. The views over the Elbe River are breathtaking, soft and sweeping, with a magical, fairytale-like quality. The dramatic stone pillars rising around the bridge look like ancient guardians watching over the valley, creating a scene that stays with you long after you’ve left.
Our guide, Filip, made the experience even more exceptional. He went above and beyond throughout the tour, sharing insights with patience and genuine enthusiasm. He also took us to the beautiful historic town of Dresden, where his knowledge and thoughtful pacing allowed us to truly appreciate the city’s charm. Thanks to him, we were able to explore comfortably and take in every detail. From start to finish, it was an amazing journey.

I really liked the personal feel to this tour. The tour guide was very nice and informative. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in seeing Dresden which is a beautiful historical area in Germany. We had a fantastic trip to Bastei Bridge and Dresden with my husband. Filip was an excellent host and guide - knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the history of the places we visited. The day moved at a relaxed and enjoyable pace, and we truly appreciated his company.
Filip is also a safe and confident driver, which made the experience even more comfortable. We especially enjoyed our conversations about Canada and sports (including hockey!), which added a personal and friendly touch to the tour.

Filip did a great job of guiding us around both the national park and Dresden. He had a good mix of historical and contemporary knowledge and was very pleasant to spend the day with. He was very communicative before picking us up and gave us plenty of time to ask questions or explore.
