As described on the ticket the meeting place is NOT by the astronomical clock but only 2min away. The guide was clear and interesting for about half an hour then time to ourselves in the clock tower itself with no time limit. Toilets inside, small extra cost for lift in the tower but the ramp was easy/safe/warm. Views were definitely worth it.

We were very happy with our clock tower tour
Our guides met us at meeting point which was easy to find and then we were able to start the tour early which was great to avoid lines and walking traffic

Great place with a lot of history. The guide spoke with a lot of passion giving rich detail although I was on my own.
The only issue I had was that after waiting for a white and blue umbrella at the square and beginning to panic, I received a phone call and had to walk a short distance to their office - not as advertised.

Lovely enjoyable experience. Loved learning the history about the astronomical clock from the guide. The walk up the clock tower is quite steep ( there is a lift too ). But the views at the top are breathtaking. We throughly enjoyed our experience.

Basically, just climbing the tower. Which was pretty cool and great views of Prague. The audio tour was okay. We did voluntarily miss the live presentation from a guide that we could have had at the beginning of our clock tower climb, but we needed to climb earlier so had to forego the live talk before we went into tower. All in all, we would still recommend this because the views were beautiful from the top of the tower which was our main reason for purchasing these tickets.

Nice tour of the Astronomical clock, with a wonderful guide.
Our guide provided lots of interesting facts on the area and the clock, along with numerous folklore stories about the clockmaker.

The clock tower was amazing but I don’t think the tickets were worth the extra money and it certainly didn’t save us any time as we had to wait in the same line as those buying tickets. It also made it seem like there was an intro overview but all that happened is we were handed the tickets and a map and told to have fun. When we asked where to go the guy pointed at the map. We found out later that we could have skipped the line and also taken the elevator but were told nothing about that.

This is a must do when in Prague and worth skipping the line as even in winter it can be quite long. This tour had a good introductory session; but don't bother with the audio guide.

The tour operator gave the group information about the clock and square. She took us to the clock and gave instructions on how to get in. The best part of this tour is the ability to skip the line to get in and walk up the tower.

STOP and read what you're getting. This does not include a tour of the Astronomical Clock tower. It includes a narrated walk to the clock and an entrance ticket, which could be purchased directly for about $12. I received 2 emails with location links, one to the tower and one to the tour operator's location. We went to the tower first which was a mistake, resulting in us arriving late for the "tour". In the email directions to the tour operator location said "look for the blue and white umbrella." It is a small sign with a blue and white umbrella. We were looking for an actual umbrella.
The provided ticket does not include access to the elevator to the top.
The guide was very soft spoken and most of the time when he was talking his back was turned.

Our guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. He spoke great English and I loved that he showed us the good squares in honor of those who died in the Holocaust. I learned so much about the clock and I’m glad to have had the information to enjoy it so much more. Absolutely do this tour AND go to the top of the tower.

This was a perfect way to learn about the clock right before it rang. The guide was very informative and spoke clearly. My only complaint would be that there was no guided tour of the inside of the clock.

This was not much of a tour. We met our guide and he walked us a few blocks to the clock tower. He stopped several times along the way to talk about historical events. The problem was the streets were very crowded and the tour guide spoke very softly. You could not hear a word he was saying. You would be better off purchasing tickets at the clock tower and doing a self guided tour.

Hardest part was locating the meeting point. Steve gave us an overview of clock history and information before entering the clock tower. He mentioned that there was a minimal charge to take the elevator up to the top....well worth it if you have climbing issues. Views from the tower are great.
