Worth the time investment from Prague to Auschwitz!

The experience of Auschwitz was life changing. As much as I knew as a Jewish person, I learned even more. There is nothing that can replace being there in person. My only suggestion is the driver needs to be more proficient in guests language! But Milan was very kind and great sense of humor!!!

If you have time go through Krakow

This is a quick way to do a tour of Auschwitz/ Birkenau in 1 day from Prague. But it is very expensive so if you have time I would suggest you take a train and stay in Krakow for a couple nights and take the tour from there. I did that the first time and you get to see Krakow also with only a short drive to Auschwitz.

Thank you very much for your review. We agree that visiting Auschwitz from Kraków is more time- and cost-efficient, as the museum is located much closer to Kraków than to Prague. The departure city, however, is clearly specified in the tour description, which is why the travel distance should not come as a surprise.
