This is a great option to spend a few hours on the water while tasting wine and learning some interesting facts about the region. They led the tour in three different languages (Portuguese, English, and Spanish) and provided the wine, snacks, and blankets for when it suddenly became chilly. I recommend this tour.

We had a lovely experience on the tour. Afonso was very accommodating for us. We had issues with a few taxi’s cancelling our trips after making us wait for 5-10 minutes at a time, so ended up being about 10 minutes late rather than 30 minutes early. We text Afonso to let him know and he was great.
The tour was brilliant and Afonso told us about a lot of the history of Porto. His knowledge of the bridges and the surrounding areas was insightful and entertaining.
The boat was smaller, which in my opinion, is a positive. This meant we had a smaller intimate group and he paid attention to everyone on the trip.
Afonso also took a Polaroid picture of each person at the front of the boat with a great view for free. We didn’t expect this, and honestly this small little detail was such a nice touch to add to the tour.
The wine was great too.
I would highly recommend this trip to anyone.

A relaxed cruise under all 6 Bridges, small groups which allowed conversation between other guests discussing the wine samples. While the big tourist boats were crammed full and moving quickly we took in the sights and would slow or stop at certain key points. The starting point also inspired us to explore areas we wouldn't have made it to. Highly recommended.

This experience is a great way to mix two must do Porto activities - port wine tasting and a boat trip. We ubered to the pick up location but it is also possible to walk which another passenger decided to do. Overall a great experience which I would recommend

the excursion was cancelled, rescheduled for another day after too many messages (with unclear, strange and late replies) and then cancelled again. In the end, the person in charge of the boat tour told us that we had to cancel the excursion with Viator if we wanted our money back. We replied that he should be the one contacting Viator, because he was the one who wanted to cancel the excursion.

Unfortunately, we were unable to operate the tour due to circumstances beyond our control. The Douro River was closed by the authorities because of the Air Invictus air show, making navigation impossible. We did our best to reschedule your tour for the following Tuesday, but unfortunately it was not possible.
Your full refund has already been processed through Viator. Although it may take a few days to appear in your account, the refund has already been issued. We also shared the refund confirmation with you, including a screenshot for your reference.

This is a lovely way to get to know Porto and Gaia. The operator were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I have a disability and they went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and safe. The trip is safe and the wine was delicious! Excellent views of the cities at the mouth of the Douro River. The crew gave plenty of background information to help us understand the buildings, bridges, and history. Wine and snacks were plentiful (and water and juice for the young ones). It was very enjoyable and more than worth the time. You should go!

My friend and I had a fantastic time on this sunset tour! The wine was delicious (and there were snacks), there were blankets to stay warm from the wind, and our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely book this again if/when I am in Porto again. Highly recommended!

Alfonso and Carlota were amazing! I went with my friend and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Alfonso was super knowledgeable about the history of landmarks and stops we passed and answered any questions we had. Since it was just the four of us, it felt like four friends hanging out, listening to music, and learning about all things Porto. We also went on quite a rainy day, which was totally out of their control, and they were super accommodating (had a roof), gave us blankets, and just made for an overall great vibe. Highly recommend!
