Read Harry Potter books and watched a couple movies but not a huge fan. It was disappointing. Not much to see. Crowded. With entry, the store gives credit to purchase certain books with the store name on it (15 euro or so). So get a book!

Visiting the Lello Bookstore is a must while in Porto. St first, we were put off by the long line even though we had purchased tickets in advance for 11am. The 11am was very long and many people in line did not have tickets which was confusing to us. The way the line works is if you get to the front of the line and you don’t have a ticket, they kick you out and you have to go to another line. So… why not have two signs that read 11 am pre-purchased tickets only and Line for everybody else… The bookstore is absolutely gorgeous inside and definitely worth seeing. I do wish we had been told that once you go upstairs, you are allowed to come down the same way. No one told us that and it happens that the books we were interested in most were all downstairs. So be sure to check everything out on the first level BEFORE heading upstairs.

It does not disappoint! When you buy your ticket, even now in summer season stood in line about 20 minutes and everything went smoothly. The flow through the bookstore was great. The books are beautiful and did not disappoint. It was great to be where Rawlings First wrote her Harry Potter books.

They have scammed us out of our money and they have refused to refund our money. I do not recommend this company to hire. On the other hand, the bookstore is spectacular; it is a trip that you have to take at least once in your life.
