Our family had an absolutely wonderful experience visiting the Musée de l’Orangerie in Paris with our guide, Anatole. From the moment we booked, his communication was excellent—clear, friendly, and timely.
Although the tour was advertised as semi-private, it ended up being just the three of us, so it felt like a truly private tour. Anatole was incredibly knowledgeable and shared fascinating stories about Monet’s life, his friendships, and the inspiration behind the Water Lilies cycle.
On top of his expertise, Anatole was funny, engaging, and made the two-plus hours fly by. He struck the perfect balance between giving us insightful information and allowing us time to simply take in the beauty around us. Our family felt comfortable asking questions and his passion for art made the visit even more memorable.
We left the museum with a much deeper appreciation not only for Monet but for the museum itself. We highly recommend a tour with Anatole—he made our visit exceptional

Malaika gave a great tour. She was efficient and knowledgeable about all of the painters. It was a wonderful experience.

Our guide was wonderful! Small museum but he made it very interesting and pointed out art that we might have overlooked without a guide. We were late due to circumstances out of our control, and our guide was very kind and accommodating about it and let us join the rest off the group late. We got great pictures of The Water Lilies and were glad to have a guide for the downstairs exhibit as well.

The tour was much more than expected. Dunya gave us a wonderful history of the Museum and Monet, then opened our eyes to the wonderful surprise art in the lower level! Great morning.

A thoroughly delightful experience with Hugo our guide. He explained what was happening in society or with the subject of the paintings. His inventive approach to the two “Nymphieas” rooms was different from any other tour I’ve taken. He is a gem.

This was the first day that the Olympic Red Zones for security were enforced, everything was chaos, the buses & Metro near our hotel on St Louis Isle did not run, & no taxis could get anywhere near….
We had to walk many many kilometres because of security barriers & no map was available showing barriers to know how to get to the Orangerie. This made us very very late for our 2 hour 10.00am tour.
Belen was incredibly understanding & patient. We kept in touch with her & she knew of the first day chaos, so she very kindly waited 1 & 1 /2 hours till we finally arrived thru checkpoints etc.
Her love of Monet’s art was evident & the depth of her knowledge & ability to impart it were just fantastic. She had a tour to guide somewhere else after, but even so, generously gave us 40 minutes instead of the 30 minutes that we were actually entitled to.
We learnt so much, & as Benel said, felt very very fortunate to be in L’Orangerie on a day when very few others could get there, so were able to truly appreciate the Water Lilies just as Monet intended - in peace & tranquility with an opportunity to reflect in his amazing interpretations of light & colour.

We had a greater appreciation of the wonderful art works by the information Anatole gave and background of the artists. Enjoyed very much!

Fabulous. Our tour guide, Michele, was in contact with me before the tour. He was on time, spoke English fluently, and had a great working knowledge of the material at the museum. Michele was also friendly, warm and kind. He thoughtfully answered all questions, and also gave us time to experience the water lilies. A+ experience.

For the first time in my life I have an appreciation for art. Our guide, Marcel, explained artwork in a way that gave me an appreciation for the sacrifices and challenges faced by artists, the differences in their techniques, and the meanings behind the paintings. My wife recently began painting and I knew she would be enthralled by the visit to the museum, but I found myself really enjoying this tour and I don't understand why more people don't visit this gem of a museum with an interesting history of its own. I enjoyed this tour more than I did my tours of the Louvre and Orsay.

Belen was a wonderful guide. She was most knowledgeable and able to answer our questions.
She had a great sense of humor that entertained us as we made our way through the galleries. Thanks for the great experience.
