This was one of the best experiences we did in Paris. We had 8 people ages 10-70 and everyone loved it. Margot was a friendly and knowledgeable guide. We could barely eat more towards the end. Margot had us tasting the signature items from each shop… chocolates, chocolate mousse, meringue, macarons, pastries, and more. Saint Germain is also a perfect setting for this quaint tour. Such a charming area.

Delicious & so fun!

FERNANDO_A, Mar 2026
We had the best time exploring Paris with Emmaline. They were super friendly, funny, and full of amazing stories about the city — not the typical tourist stuff, but the kind of details that make you fall in love with Paris even more. The tour felt really easygoing, but we still got to see so much. You can tell Emmaline genuinely loves what they do. Whether it was pointing out cool little cafés or sharing the history behind big landmarks, everything felt special. I also appreciated how they made sure everyone in the group felt included and comfortable. If you’re ever in Paris and want to see the city through a local’s eyes, definitely book a tour with Emmaline. It was honestly one of the highlights of our trip!

You are standing most the whole time. You really don’t get to sit and enjoy the treats. Everything was very good though and the history was interesting. Emiline was a great tour guide.

Love chocolates? Like learning interesting history?

Lisa_K, Jan 2026
Catherine did a wonderful job teaching us so much about history, culture AND food (specifically chocolate). We appreciated her willingness to share her extensive knowledge with us! As several chocoholics, I can assure you will have more than enough to satisfy your desires!

Disappointed Tour Cancelled by Company less than 24 hours before the tour

DoloresAnn_G, Dec 2025
This tour was cancelled by the tour guide less than 24 hours before the meeting time. No alternative was available on the same day. The next availability was 2 days away and would have already left Paris.

Response from Host, Dec 2025

Dear Dolores, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are truly sorry for the late cancellation — we understand how disappointing this was. Our team did offer alternative solutions, but as it is low season, availability can occasionally be more limited, and unfortunately we did not have another tour running that same day. It was also unfortunate that you were unable to move your experience to the next available date, which we would have been happy to arrange. We apologize for the inconvenience and remain at your disposal for any further assistance. Kind regards, The OFT Team

No Go

Linda_B, Sep 2025
Guide was very nice but we walked for one hour and had one stop . We received a piece of chocolate. We have been on four tours through Viator but this was not your normal quality. We left the tour after one hour and 10 minutes. Very disappointing. Linda Berry

Response from Host, Oct 2025

Dear Ms. Berry, Thank you for your feedback. We're glad to hear you found the guide pleasant, though we're sorry the tour didn’t meet your expectations. Our Saint-Germain chocolate and pastry tour includes several tasting stops, carefully curated to highlight exceptional local artisans. The first part of the tour is designed to introduce the neighborhood’s rich cultural and historical background, with the majority of tastings concentrated in the second half. As you chose to leave before the experience was complete, we're sorry you missed many of the highlights that our guests typically enjoy and appreciate. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts, and we hope your future travels bring more satisfying discoveries.

Great experience with a knowledgeable and very nice tour guide. We definitely ate a lot of chocolates and got a small tour & history of the town.

Go hungry!

Ken_F, Aug 2025
It appears from scanning reviews that there are a number of guides for this tour. We had Catherine and, aside from a few minutes of confusion finding each other, it was great. We learned a lot about the basic history and architecture of the neighborhood where we stayed (and probably would have learned more were it just adults), and ate an absurd amount of sugar. It was just our family which was lucky, and unlike so many of these food tours where you get a few small bites, we must’ve had 8-9 stops each with real portions. Highly recommend!

Lots of historic sweets

Valerie_N, Aug 2025
This was a wonderful tour! We were lucky enough to have the tour be just my partner and I with our guide, Émeline. Émeline was great, she shared some history of the area and taught us all about how the different treats were made and brought to France. We had some great conversations with Émeline and she even gave us some tips on finding the best restaurants in the area. Make sure you come hungry and ready for lots of chocolate!

Great solo traveler experience

Emiline had so much fun information to share and was so upbeat. I enjoyed the tour so much and the desserts were delicious!! A great solo experience, and her English was fantastic. Thank you!

Need smaller groups

maureenjbusch, Jun 2025
The tour operator overbooked the tour. There were a out 20 of us and the shops visited could only accommodate about 10 at a time which meant the other 10 sat outside in the heat waiting for the first group to finid

A wonderful taste of Paris!

Christine_V, Jun 2025
Enjoyed getting to know a little history of the area as well as trying some of the most famous sweet treats of Paris! Well worth the time if you are looking for a slightly different way to experience the city.

Fun and interesting!

Amanda_H, Jun 2025
Such a fun tour! Our guide, Kevan, was wonderful and shared a lot of interesting facts about not only the treats we tasted, but the city as we walked around. Would definitely reccommend!

Kevan was fantastic guide and my kids enjoyed the entire experience. Not only the food but about the area.

Debbie_A, May 2025
Emily was a delightful, very knowledgeable tour guide. She is very friendly and made us a very cohesive group. This added to our enjoyment. However, I am confused as to why it was an hour before we ate the first food offering. Also, we've been on many food tours and there's always been more than 3 food stops.

Great time exploring the area while enjoying the treats.

Daylene_T, Apr 2025
We had a wonderful time exploring the area and we had a lot of wonderful things to taste. The chocolate mousse was our favorite. We enjoyed all of the different treats in the area besides chocolate as well.
