Really excellent experience. We had the best guide, Alex - lovely gentleman, so knowledgeable and a great sense of humour. We got up close to The Lady herself and definitely recommend this way, especially when we saw the queues upon leaving. First class experience!

Our first time to the Louvre. Antoine was the guide everyone should have. He don’t just tell us the history he was amazing story teller. He captivated us the entire time. It was obvious he has a passion for beautiful art.

This tour is short, sweet, and informative. Anáis was our guide, we got in effortlessly, immediately went to the Mona Lisa beating the crowds. Afterwards our tour went to Winged Victory and Venus de Milo sprinkled with a few interesting pieces in between. Once we were finished, we asked about a few other places/things to see and Anáis helped us with that. Anáis is interesting and knowledgeable, really enjoyed her tour.

Tour its self was good. However it was advertised as 1 1/2 hours. Tour inside Lovure was only 1 hour. Other 30 minutes was waiting in line to get it. Not what I expected

This tour has you meeting your guide before the Louvre opens so you’re first in the queue. While you wait the tour guide chit chats and gives some museum information. When the museum opens your high tail it (no running) to the Mona Lisa so you get there a few minutes before the rest of the mob. This affords a quieter, semi private viewing. You then spend some time talking about the Mona Lisa and exploring a few more important art pieces. Achilles was our guide. He spoke perfect English and was interesting and personable. He gave us recommendations for how to spend the rest of our time at the Louvre. He also taught us about French culture. My family liked him very much. If you have the cash to burn, take this tour for a less chaotic viewing of the most famous painting in the world.

The early morning rush to the Mona Lisa can be overwhelming. Achille got us there quickly and we were among the first to see the artwork before the crowds. Most important for us though, was the perspective Achille provided on all of the artwork we viewed, helping us better appreciate what we were seeing and why it was important, not just famous. 10 out of 10!

We were at the meeting location 15 minutes before our required time as requested. We were met by a representative pretty quickly. At 8:35 he informed us that our guide was running behind due to an issue on the metro caused by the storms the night before, but she would be there by 8:45. He instructed us to wait near the entrance. At 8:45, he told us that our guide was on her way and would be there by the time the gates opened. A few minutes later he told us that she would be another half hour.
We had paid for early entry in order to see the Mona Lisa without the crowds, but we were now not going to get that as we could not enter without our guide. The representative who met us told us that he could send us our tickets to enter without our guide or we could wait for her and still get our tour. Since part of the reason for booking the tour was to have someone knowledgeable with the Louvre guide us, we opted to wait for our guide as we understood that she should be there by 9:25.
When she wasn't there by 9:25, we were again given a time of another "15 to 20 minutes." She finally arrived at 9:45. Our understanding was it was to be a 2 hour tour, so that's what we expected. When she arrived she explained that she had to get to another tour at 10:30 and that she would show us what she could until she had to leave for the 10:30 tour.
She was very kind, and we understood the issue for her, but we did not get what we paid for. We not only paid a considerable amount extra for first entry, but also a 2 hour guided tour and we only got about 35 minutes. I'm not sure why the representative wasn't versed in the museum so that he could start the tour for our guide until she got there. We had 2 major problems - we did not get first entry, nor did we get our full tour.

This tour was a scam and a false advertisement. We arrive to the Louvre at 8am, met the Liv Tour people at 8:15am and went to the priority line at 8:30am. We waited 30 minutes in the line and enter to the museum at 9am as everybody else (They advertised a “guided tour of the museum before the the crowd arrive”). Then we went directly to the Mona Lisa and it was crowded and impossible to take a family picture, just individual selfies. The tour finalized exactly at 10am and it was 1 hour tour, not 1.5 hours as advertised. (They are crazy if they are counting the 30 minutes in the line outside the museum). This tour does not worth the money and I do not recommend it.

Our tour started early morning but we were looking forward to seeing most important work before crowds... Our guide Antoine was very knowledgeable man and gave us plenty of good information regarding most important works in Louvre, but... we didn't use opportunity to see Mona Lisa before crowds arrived... we were going from one work to another and when we came to the room with Mona Lisa picture it was full... Tour good, worth to see it, but if you want to see Mona Lisa, you should ask guide to do it...

This is a marvelous experience and a chance to view iconic art without crowds.our guide was terrific. Her stories and the info added so much to the tour. It was also spectacular being at The Louvre in the early morning also without crowds. We were literally first in line and this tour is first rate!

Our entire family recommend this tour. Antoine was an engaging, insightful and very knowledgeable on the history, art and perspective of the Louvre and how Mona Lisa found her way here.
This tour set the tone for our day at the Louvre and made our visit that much more memorable. Antoine was very passionate and shared information that we would have overlooked or missed if not have taken this tour. Spending the morning with him was better than any video or audio guide. If visiting the Louvre, you will not be sorry for signing up for this tour. Well worth the investment of your money and time. A++!

Nice walking tour and very glad we went early. Seemed a little short but did see the highlights. Diane did a nice job with the history of the Louvre and its masterpieces.
