Our guide was excellent full of knowledge great energy
Until she left us a half hour to 40 minutes before the
Time of the tour was up.
I had my doubts about "beating the crowd," but our guide knew every nook and cranny and elevator to get to the Mona Lisa and we were indeed the first people there other than security. It was fabulous as were his insider stories!
Our guide was able to get us into the gallery with Mona Lisa about 30 seconds before anyone else, so we got a few precious seconds alone with her!
However, purchasers should know that this tour does not include wandering the Louver on your own once the tour is finished. If you want to wander the Louvre, a second ticket will be needed.
Rene was an excellent guide. His knowledge of the museum and French history made the tour a hit !!

A fantastic highlight tour of the louvre. Quickly moved through the museum and avoided the crowds. Got some close up views of the major works, highly knowledgeable guide that pointed out details and symbolism in works that we never would have appreciated.
Our guide, Sara, literally got us to the Mona Lisa before anyone else! It only lasted a minute before the rest of the early ticket holders arrived but she knew all the tricks to get us that VIP experience. She was very knowledgeable, wonderful with our kids and was passionate about what she was teaching us. We were very happy with the experience.
Wow, our tour guide knew just what to do. We booked this option to see the Mona Lisa without the crowd and it worked! Within 10 minutes 100s started filing in. We got a few moments to our small group. He was also very knowledgeable and easy to listen to.
There was a potential strike that was to take place in the morning, so we were unable to have first viewing of Mona Lisa before the museum opened. The tour company communicated well and offered us a small group tour later that morning - just four of us total. Our tour guide, Nils, was fantastic! He took us through all of the highlights and was so knowledgeable. He spent extra time with us as well. We left loving our experience at the Louvre despite being slightly busier than our original tour would have been. Would highly recommend in lieu of trying to go it alone.
Our guide, Nancy, was amazing! She knew just where to stand and walked us quickly in to see the Mona Lisa first. We succeeded! She got us front row to view her for several minutes! The rest of the tour was a nice pace to stop at some of the more famous artifacts and paintings. She was very informative and even went beyond the Louvre to share some additional history of Paris. Definitely choose the early 8:30am tour to get in before the crowds. By the time we left it was packed. Great tour!

Really excellent experience. We had the best guide, Alex - lovely gentleman, so knowledgeable and a great sense of humour. We got up close to The Lady herself and definitely recommend this way, especially when we saw the queues upon leaving. First class experience!
Louis was very well versed in the history of the Louvre itself as well as many of the works of art. He did a fantastic job of getting us to the Mona Lisa early and then provided a great tour afterward
Our first time to the Louvre. Antoine was the guide everyone should have. He don’t just tell us the history he was amazing story teller. He captivated us the entire time. It was obvious he has a passion for beautiful art.
Sarah was incredible. We got some great photos with the Mona Lisa and many other crown jewels of the Louvre. She set us up with helpful hints and tricks before the tour ended.

This tour is short, sweet, and informative. Anáis was our guide, we got in effortlessly, immediately went to the Mona Lisa beating the crowds. Afterwards our tour went to Winged Victory and Venus de Milo sprinkled with a few interesting pieces in between. Once we were finished, we asked about a few other places/things to see and Anáis helped us with that. Anáis is interesting and knowledgeable, really enjoyed her tour.
To most definitely book this tour. Well worth the money. Daniel was simply amazing. Got us up close to Mona Lisa. Daniel was a wealth of knowledge with Louvre.
Tour its self was good. However it was advertised as 1 1/2 hours. Tour inside Lovure was only 1 hour. Other 30 minutes was waiting in line to get it. Not what I expected
This tour has you meeting your guide before the Louvre opens so you’re first in the queue. While you wait the tour guide chit chats and gives some museum information. When the museum opens your high tail it (no running) to the Mona Lisa so you get there a few minutes before the rest of the mob. This affords a quieter, semi private viewing. You then spend some time talking about the Mona Lisa and exploring a few more important art pieces. Achilles was our guide. He spoke perfect English and was interesting and personable. He gave us recommendations for how to spend the rest of our time at the Louvre. He also taught us about French culture. My family liked him very much. If you have the cash to burn, take this tour for a less chaotic viewing of the most famous painting in the world.
The early morning rush to the Mona Lisa can be overwhelming. Achille got us there quickly and we were among the first to see the artwork before the crowds. Most important for us though, was the perspective Achille provided on all of the artwork we viewed, helping us better appreciate what we were seeing and why it was important, not just famous. 10 out of 10!
Totally worth the money. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we got in quickly to see the Mona Lisa before the crowds.
We were at the meeting location 15 minutes before our required time as requested. We were met by a representative pretty quickly. At 8:35 he informed us that our guide was running behind due to an issue on the metro caused by the storms the night before, but she would be there by 8:45. He instructed us to wait near the entrance. At 8:45, he told us that our guide was on her way and would be there by the time the gates opened. A few minutes later he told us that she would be another half hour.
We had paid for early entry in order to see the Mona Lisa without the crowds, but we were now not going to get that as we could not enter without our guide. The representative who met us told us that he could send us our tickets to enter without our guide or we could wait for her and still get our tour. Since part of the reason for booking the tour was to have someone knowledgeable with the Louvre guide us, we opted to wait for our guide as we understood that she should be there by 9:25.
When she wasn't there by 9:25, we were again given a time of another "15 to 20 minutes." She finally arrived at 9:45. Our understanding was it was to be a 2 hour tour, so that's what we expected. When she arrived she explained that she had to get to another tour at 10:30 and that she would show us what she could until she had to leave for the 10:30 tour.
She was very kind, and we understood the issue for her, but we did not get what we paid for. We not only paid a considerable amount extra for first entry, but also a 2 hour guided tour and we only got about 35 minutes. I'm not sure why the representative wasn't versed in the museum so that he could start the tour for our guide until she got there. We had 2 major problems - we did not get first entry, nor did we get our full tour.
This tour was a scam and a false advertisement. We arrive to the Louvre at 8am, met the Liv Tour people at 8:15am and went to the priority line at 8:30am. We waited 30 minutes in the line and enter to the museum at 9am as everybody else (They advertised a “guided tour of the museum before the the crowd arrive”). Then we went directly to the Mona Lisa and it was crowded and impossible to take a family picture, just individual selfies. The tour finalized exactly at 10am and it was 1 hour tour, not 1.5 hours as advertised. (They are crazy if they are counting the 30 minutes in the line outside the museum). This tour does not worth the money and I do not recommend it.

Early entry was fantastic, we got to see Mona Lisa before the crowds. Saw all the highlights before too busy. Small group was great, it is a busy place, better with fewer people

The guide was very knowledgeable and went out of her way to give us a great experience. We rushed in to see the Mona Lisa, and were able to get a space in front, although the crowds started building quickly.
Our tour started early morning but we were looking forward to seeing most important work before crowds... Our guide Antoine was very knowledgeable man and gave us plenty of good information regarding most important works in Louvre, but... we didn't use opportunity to see Mona Lisa before crowds arrived... we were going from one work to another and when we came to the room with Mona Lisa picture it was full... Tour good, worth to see it, but if you want to see Mona Lisa, you should ask guide to do it...
