Our driver was punctual, incredibly accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable, allowing us to relax and enjoy our tour. The audiotour, though we had some technical difficulties initially, was just what we needed (as we were two families traveling with children of various ages and various levels of interest and attention). The stops chosen on the tour were just enough for our day-long tour with just enough time at each. The van was comfortable for 8 of us and the driver provided bottled water (and was sure to stop at clean, well-equipped gas stations/convenience stores along the way so that we could stock up on snacks, use the toilet, etc.) The restaurant that we stopped at had very good food (kid friendly, too) at reasonable prices and with excellent service as well. We were thrilled with our tour, knowing that we could truly have spent an entire week in Normandy had we had more time on our trip.

This was a great experience. We were lucky enough to be there on June 6th and it was such an emotional experience. Our driver for the day was Pascal and he was awesome. The weather didn't really cooperate, but that seemed to add to the atmosphere. If you can make the time during your visit to Paris to do this tour, it is worth it.
