Our tour guide was so insightful and friendly! He met us right on time and explained all the little details of Versailles even though the chateau was so busy when we went! He was flexible with our timing as well since we had to catch a train to London that evening. All in all it's worth it for a private guided tour plus transportation! He also got us in the chateau super fast which was amazing since it was freezing outside!

My wife and I arranged a private Versailles tour with Ricardo in August. He was invaluable in providing background information on the palace’s important sites prior to our arrival, and then steering us to them while further explaining their significance, etc. Had we visited without his guidance, our visit would have paled in comparison. Ricardo made our trip wildly successful.

Avoid this tour. Our driver seemed overworked and tired. I call him our driver and not our tour guide because he shared little knowledge of the history and culture of Versailles. Apparently he had tours the days before and that same morning. On our 40 minute ride to Versailles, very little was said. When questions were asked, very short answers were provided. Bare minimal background was given before or after tour. During the tour, we rushed from room to room with short explanations. The water fountains show was also a big disappointment. It was just was water spouting from the fountain. We sat for fifteen minutes for the fountain show and left for the ride home. The one star is for the seamless pickup and drop off. We felt we did not get what we paid for since we spent $1200+ for 4 hours with a historian that was advertised to be have special knowledge of Versailles.

Our tour guide Olivier was extremely knowledgeable. We used to visit places like this by buying public entrance tickets and walking through on our own. Having a knowledgeable guide adds so much more to the experience and is something we will always do in the future. Highly recommend this tour!

Our guide is very knowledgeable and accommodating. Saw all the highlights and just enough of wandering in the garden under the hot summer sun. At our request, we were dropped off at Galleria Lafayette for lunch and shopping, a perfect end to our half day adventure.

Our driver/ guide, Nicholas, was excellent. He was right on time to pick us up. There were 4 of us on the tour with a comfortable van. He had a great speaker system in the van so everyone could hear. Nicholas started telling us all about the Paris sights on the way out of Paris. Then at Versailles we had head sets to hear all the information he told us through the Palace. He was a wealth of historian information. Nicholas was a wonderful guide/ driver. We would highly recommend this tour with Nicholas.

Excellent! Short and sweet. Given that i was travelling with kids of different ages. It was important that we view highlights in quick manner (skipped all the lines). The guide Isabelle was great! If it wasn't for the cold weather... I would recommend you spend the day even with the kids, especially in the gardens. We left Paris 8:30 and back by noon!

I thought I had already written a review for this but sorry for the delay. Mother and I are Americans and we did this wonderful tour our first full day in France with Anna picked us up from our hotel in a very comfortable van, and during our drive to Versaille she talked and gave us much background about Versaille and the history. She is so knowledgable and worked very hard on this tour to make sure we had the best experience possible and be as educated as possible. Versailles was spectacular, she went in detail with what life was like during the kings/queens stay in versaille and made us feel entertained. She guided us throughout the palace and walked with us. I very much wanted to see the gardens, and she took her time to walk us through the gardens which was my favorite. I honestly feel anyone who comes to France MUST SEE Versailles. I knew so little about it. I felt bad for the tourists who walked aimlessly through Versaille and were not getting a tour, because you honestly miss so much without a tour guide. . You must get a tour to fully understand the beauty of this place and its stories. Anna was excellent with time management because this was a half day tour. We had enough time to see Versaille and the garden. The ride back was just as comfortable, and I am so thankful we had Anna. She is truly kind, excellent and well educated. She made us feel well taken care of during our tour. Anna, your efforts really showed and your brilliance really shined. Thank you for sharing this rich history with us. We are now watching the apple series Franklin which is taped in Versaille and mother and I are so thrilled to rewatch where we have been!!!! You made this mother daughter trip so memorable by your guidance and tour. Thank you. :)

Nicholas was our guide and driver and was excellent! He got us in avoiding the long “queue” and provided us with radio and earbuds which enabled us to wander, take photos, etc while still being able to hear his narrative. We had free time in the gardens where we grabbed a snack and checked out the fountains.

Highly recommend this private group tour. We were picked up at our hotel. 7 of us ( 3 teenagers). Oliver was very knowledgeable about the history of the palace. Length of the tour was perfect about 4 hours round trip. We got to see the main highlights and walk around the gardens at the end.
