Our evening night photography Masterclass with Clara was outstanding and truly exceeded our expectations. Clara is an amazing guide and teacher—she explained nighttime photography in a clear, approachable way while sharing so much valuable knowledge. We came away with a much stronger understanding of composition, lighting, camera settings, and how to confidently set up each shot to capture beautiful images at night.

Clara was so amazing!! She worked with my husband and daughter to help them further understand their cameras in such a positive way. Less than an hour into our 3 hour session, I already felt we had more than gotten our money’s worth. It was definitely a highlight of our trip.

I have taken several Photography Tours in major cities around the world. This tour was the best that I have ever experienced! Clara reviewed the information I provided prior to the tour and further questioned my interests for clarity when we met on Pont Marie. Although my husband accompanied me on the tour, he chose not participate in the photography activities. Clara maintained her focus on me throughout our time together. She was patient and accommodating throughout the 3-1/2 hour tour. Although most of her clients use DSL cameras, I brought my iPhone 15 Pro Max to use on the tour. She showed me how to better use the camera's native app features to create interest in my photos and alter exposure (beyond automatic settings) for maximum benefit in low light settings. I now better know how to incorporate a foreground element when taking a photo of a large building/monument to create visual interest in the shot. I greatly benefited from Clara's expertise and positive, constructive feedback. My photography skills in general and my night photography skills in particular were definitely enhanced as a result of my time spend with Clara.

We had a great tour with Clara. We admit we originally booked this as a misunderstanding that this was more of a photo shoot rather than a session about locations and techniques for taking pictures. But Clara was wonderful and flexible with us. Ended up being a great experience and we still got some amazing photos even with the rain. She was so patient and we had a great time together. Wonderful way to explore the city. Happy we did it.

This was a wonderful way to see Paris! Michiru was a wonderful guide, very attentive to what I wanted to get out of the tour and a brilliant photographer herself. She gave my great tips about composition and had me shooting on manual within the hour! I took several photos I plan to print and enlarge when I get home, which was another of my goals.

Our guide Michiru was a wonderful, kind, humorous teacher who was patient with my daughter and myself. We started out in the pouring rain, but realized our best option would be to use the Metro and wander around Palais Royal, the Louvre and a cafe in the area. It was very challenging to deal with the wet weather and my daughter who was worn out. I still learned a LOT from her, and she was adaptable to our needs. I highly recommend this tour and this guide, but hopefully not in the pouring rain like we had!!!

Federica was a wonderful tour guide and very patient. She took the time to ask us what our goals were and what kind of photography we were interested in and then made sure we were able to fill our goals. She took us to locations where we were able to take beautiful pictures. She also helped us learn how to work our cameras and some great tips on composition. I hope to book a tour with her next time we come to Paris

We (plus our 2 kids) had a wonderful evening walking the streets of Paris with Federica. Her enthusiasm and gentle nature made this evening very memorable to us. We focused on perspective as opposed to technical and found some unique views we would otherwise have never seen. We also left with the ability to see the popular sites in new ways. Exactly what we hoped for.

A great way to spend my last night in Paris. Photography expert William showed me some magnificent scenes to photograph and provided plenty of valuable tips, and, for me, key learnings about shooting cityscapes at night. I would do this tour, as well as other tours by this provider, again, whenever the opportunity presents itself. Highly recommended.

As a solo female traveler, the Paris Photography Night Tour with Aperture Tours was a great way to learn new photography skills and to see The City of Lights by night. The private instruction I received from William, my photography expert, was invaluable! I learned more in my 3 hour tour than I have from group classes I have taken in the past. William encouraged me to think about each image in terms of composition and camera exposure. He also gave me a better understanding of my newly purchased camera and the confidence to begin shooting manually, or at least in aperture priority mode. One of the must do's in all of Paris! Alexander was incredible and helped my wife and I capture images we'll cherish forever. We met at a nearby cafe to discuss experiences and talk about the evening he had planned for us before setting off into the night. While he had his plan, we went at our own pace as he provided tips at each location. There is always something new to learn! He even provided neat little anecdotes about the city as we walked. Such a great experience. I look forward to meeting up with him again, as well as taking more tours provided by his company in other cities!

Absolutely loved my night photography tour. It started with the sun setting at the Louvre and moved on to Joan of Arc and then the Eiffel Tower. I had never done any night photography - Alexander brought along the tripod and was just brilliant at explaining how I should get the best out of my camera to get some totally memorably images. And I saw parts of Paris at night that I would never have experienced. Go for it - brilliant!
