The Guide was spectacular! She explained everything thoroughly and knows every detail of the catacombs. She also was extremely nice and funny as well! I would recommend highly the semi-private person special tour. We got to see so much more than the regular tours in locked areas only accessible to our small tour group. What an amazing tour - best one so far ever in Paris!

Maria was great. Her enthusiasm for the catacombs was contagious and her knowledge and stories were entertaining and informative. A tour of six guests was the perfect size to not feel crowded or rushed in the tunnels. I would absolutely recommend this experience for anyone who's interested in a catacombs tour.

We really enjoyed our Catacombs tour! The guide and starting point were easy to find, and Lavinia is an excellent guide. She is extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and has lots of great anecdotes about the history of the Catacombs, both recent and past. I expected to feel very claustrophobic, but the museum limits the number of people inside at one time, and so it was not bad at all. With the tour we had access to private areas, which were really breathtaking. Overall it was a great experience, and if you are lucky enough to have Lavinia as a guide, you are in for a treat!

This was a fascinating tour, which took as to parts of the catacombs you can only access with a guide. It was pricey, but definitely worth it. Melvin was very knowledgeable and entertaining. It was great to be in such a small group, as being in a tunnel means you have to be in a line, so larger groups will always have some people quite far back from the guide. We could always hear and see everything, which was perfect.

I received an email that my tour could not be booked. Then I received a text from the local operator that they were waiting for us, but we couldn’t make it. I would like a full refund if I was charged to lack or proper coordination and communication. I’d actually give 0 stars for this.

Maria was a great guide for the venue. My preteen daughter loved Maria’s appreciation of spooky places.
I wrote a review at the time but it doesn’t seem to have gone through. We will definitely check if Maria is available to do a similar type of tour when we are in Paris again next February.

LaVina was a wonderful tour guide with loads of knowledge. It was easy to understand her despite her accent. We ventured off into some crazy VIP parts of the catacombs. Well worth the money!

Leo was a fantastic guide. It was a marvellous experience. Her depth of knowledge and passion for the subject matter of the catacombs was amazing. She showed us details that we never would have seen on our own. Having access to the caves that were not open to the general public was worthwhile. One of the best tours and tour guides we have ever experienced.

Our guide, Leo, was very passionate about the catacombs and provided us with an informative and fun tour. She patiently answered questions, did translations, and showed us part of the secret catacombs. This got us access to the limestone carvings of Majorca, which turned out to be our favorite part of the tour.

We paid extra for the 'small group' private tour. It was well worth it. Our tour guide was Alice and she was just a wealth of fascinating information. We saw the model buildings carved, saw the arched walkway original entrance, heard about the cataphiles, and more (a bone wall once collapsed on her). She covered the info so well, with a comprehensive timeline. And she never rushed us about photos. And an added bonus... there are clean restrooms at the beginning and end of the tour.

SO WORTH IT. My guide, Maria, had a wealth of knowledge about the catacombs and was very nice as well. And the benefit of having such a small group and going into private areas adds to the whole experience so much more. My girlfriend was very scared the whole time but overall it was a life experience that we thoroughly enjoyed😊.

Maria was a great tour guide who gave us lots of information on the history of the catacombs and why they were created. Unfortunately our tour was interrupted near the end for a safety concern but it was cleared up quickly and Maria gave the group the option to go back in. We all declined having seen 95% of the tour prior to the evacuation. It was a cool experience.
